History

Established in 1986.

In many ways, time stands still in Weaverville. People gather on the street to discuss families, work, high school football, the change of seasons. Weaverville is a place where the police jiggle doorknobs every evening to make sure shopkeepers remember to lock up. The walkers and joggers exchange «heys» as they pass at Lake Louise. Garden Club volunteers keep downtown plantings a burst of seasonal colors. Area farmers sell their produce, flowers and canned goods at a tailgate market at the lake every Wednesday in the warm months. Postal carriers deliver letters, even when the address has been left off the envelope. There are two parades a year to commemorate the events dearest to the hearts of Weaverville residents, Christmas — North Buncombe High School Homecoming. Weaverville is only eight miles from downtown Asheville, but its pace is a generation away.

Meet the Business Owner

Howard D.

Business Owner

Howard comes from a background in information systems in a fleet leasing company. His love of motorcycling and things mechanical is evident throughout the Inn. He has a flair for serving your breakfast with style and keeping you informed about what to see and where to go in the area. If it is your birthday, ask Howard to play «Happy Birthday» for you on his bagpipes.

With a background in Human Resources and Payroll, Kristen has changed gears and delights in coming up with breakfast entrees. You will notice that some of her doll collection is displayed through out the Inn. She also enjoys crafts and has dabbled a little in flower arranging.
