Established in 2015.

Remembering the rich historical past of Weaverville, this business revisits the days of stagecoaches rumbling up and down Main street. Now enjoy a bistro dining experience right on our porch facing Main Street, sit inside the air conditioned café where you can browse the pictures of what once was, or enjoy any of our four flat screen TV’s playing a western movie, or various sports events.

Business Owner

Ted has a vision to pursue various avenues that intrigue him. Following a career of twenty years in the food service industry, he embarked on his first entrepreneurship in the retail industry. Since then, he expanded his talents into consulting which evolved back into the food service industry where he created his vision of Stagecoach Pizzeria & Café, a small cozy pizza shop with street side seating, offering various historical elements of theNorthern California’s mining era and Stagecoaches that once rumbled the dirt roads of Main Street.

The pizzas we ordered had a ton of toppings, but they lacked great taste. The sausage was bland, the sauce bland, even the pineapple had no flavor. How do you mess up canned pineapple? And as others have commented, they were undercooked as well. We were not charged correctly for our meal and when we pointed that out, the staff became very defensive.

Quality in food and customer service have declined. Ordered breakfast on a Monday through Unilocal and when I went to pick up my order, I was told that 1) they do not serve breakfast on weekdays and 2) to never use Unilocal to place an order. The cashier/​hostess (Sam) was awfully rude and unpleasant to talk to to add to the matter… It wasn’t my fault that they do not update their business on Unilocal… I was only a customer thinking about the convenience of ordering online. Never again. Anyhow, I’ll be leaning towards quality rather than convenience the next time; I’m through with this place.

The food is actually pretty good. My family and I have eaten in and take out several times. My problem is with the service at times it can be very unprofessional and the wait time is ridiculous. My latest frustration– I called in 5:30ish to order 2 take out pizzas at 6:30. I arrived on time only to have to wait almost an hour for my pizzas. .I finally got them at 7:20…crappy!

Here’s a review from a local who has experience with restaurants and food in general from outside the area, including small towns and big cities. When this place first opened the food was good enough to say I would come back if I was hungry and felt like going out for a bite to eat. That was then and this is now. The quality has declined each time I have been back. One would be better off getting a pizza from costco or walmart. They obviously are cutting corners on dough, sauce and cheese in order to save money. I will never go back. If need be I will order from marino’s which is about a mile east of this place on the same road, other side of the street.
To Stagecoach pizzeria: if you want to serve low grade pizza to your customers this is the review you deserve. To anyone reading this: do yourself a favor and hold out for redding or arcata. It will definitely be worth your wait.

This is THE place to go if you’re eating gluten free in Weaverville. They have gluten free pizza crust almost always, and sometimes gluten free bread for sandwiches too (best to call ahead and check). Since they’ve expanded to have a bar on one side, we’ve had even more reason to go. Great drinks, amazing food, tons of TV’s, pool tables, etc. A great place for a night out with friends :)

Ate here twice when we stayed at the Weaverville hotel. The food was seriously delicious. The ambiance and the waitstaff leave something to be desired. They weren’t horrible, just not that great. We had the soup, cream of mushroom and tomato basil with French fries with feta and garlic, and chicken wings. Second night more soup and the Maverick. All was so yummy, would definitely go back.

Been SH fishing for three days. No shower and my own cooking as well. This place was an incredible meal. Good soup, salad and pizza.

Wish I could rate higher. This review is for take out pizza and burgers only. From the 12 or so orders I’ve placed here maybe half have been satisfactory. And when I say that, I mean good. We’ve enjoyed the chicken pizzas, and one or two burgers. But consistency seems to be a problem. Crust is often soft and center of pizza mushy. Vegetable toppings come out undercooked and lackluster. I’ve offered constructive criticism, and promised to try them again in a few months if they make it that long. Please do, because you’re getting a lot right, just need to up your pizza game.

Update. Came for burgers although Judy stared at me funny when I got the «Donner». That was an oversized burger (beef I’m pretty sure…) with mushrooms and Swiss cheese, and a small dinner salad. They got a fly fan by the door so that problem is solved. Still excellent. Still 5 stars.

Reading through some of those reviews makes me wonder if we ate at the same place. If the food was good, why only two stars? We always got terrific food, good service including timely local delivery, and they’re even serving a great breakfast now. No flies when we were there.

I had a delicious Chinese Chicken Salad last Sunday night. It was served with grilled chicken breast, which is what is advertised on the menu.
I thought it was so good that I recommended it to my friend. We just ordered it and it was served with shredded chicken breast that reminded me of canned chicken.
Also, on Sunday night my friend ordered a pizza. It was undercooked and lacked flavor.
That being said, the service by the wait staff has been excellent.
Hopefully they will improve their products because there are few places to eat in Weaverville.
