History

Established in 1994.

The Webster Groves Recreation Complex was constructed and opened for operation in November of 1994 (ice arena) and January 1995 (rec complex.) The first Aquatic Center season was 1995. The Recreation Complex received a $ 4 million renovation in 2007, adding the Fitness Center and new meeting rooms, as well as updating and improving all other areas.

The City of Webster Groves has an exceptional City Council, who understands the importance of healthy living. As such, the fitness center equipment remains state-​of-​the-​art, the facility is clean and the staff extremely personable. (Not to mention, daily fees and membership rates are reasonable.) Ask about a la carte or full facility memberships to the Fitness Center, Aquatic Center, Ice Arena and Tennis Center. There are discounted membership rates for Webster business owners and employees, as well as Chamber member business owners. Anyone can take advantage of the 14-​day free trial membership. Silver Sneakers membership accepted!
