Specialties

Everyone, from ages 5 to 95, can discover their inner artist at Yucandu Art Studio. Regardless of skill level or creative ability, here you can explore your creativity while using the highest quality, artist-grade materials in an inspirational setting. We’ll teach you everything you need to know so you can walk out of our studio having created your own one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

History

Established in 2003.

About ten years ago, Yucandu started as a backyard summer art camp for neighborhood kids & their friends. The creative itch was scratched and three years later, it grew from that to what you see today – a hands-on art studio for all ages and all skill levels. Much of the furniture and shelving come from the original basement studio – the rest came from friends. The ever-growing «patina» comes from thousands of folks who have stopped in to make a little art.

Meet the Business Owner

Kim H and Holly S.

Business Owner

Kim and Holly and their children have been friends for over 17 years. They began their story as co-volunteers at their son’s grade school. Soon they became «bunco» friends (which still meets, but seldom plays actual bunco). They started Yucandu Art Studio over ten years ago because they felt their home town needed a place for kids and families to make art. Now, Kim and Holly’s kids are grown and they and their families are still very close friends. Their business has grown too and reaches much further than just Webster families now. Adults and kids alike from all over, enjoy creating mosaics, collage and painted projects at Yucandu Art Studio. Yay!
