We brought our laptop in for a virus issue. After the 3 employees finished play time they finally came to assist us. We, like all consumers should, asked for a price to repair the issue. At least $ 200 we were told… wait a minute… what? $ 350 laptop and you want how much? Then told it would be a few weeks until it’s done. We walked out as fast as we came, headed to the geek squad @Best Buy…30 minutes later and $ 75 our laptop is working like new. Small business are losing because of companies like friendly computer, over charging for services. Do yourself a favor DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE.

My company was having a network issue and reached out to Friendly Computers. Josh arrived early to the appointment time and tackled the problem within moments of sitting at the computer. He had the issue repair within an hour and was very professional.

This is a great place to start if you have any computer problem. I had a hard drive failure and chatted with an on-​line technician who asked me a few questions, then recommended I come to the store. When I arrived at the store, I was immediately helped and they did another diagnosis. It turned out the problem was beyond their expertise, but they recommended an online company that could help me (and had a discount code).
I would give five stars if they would have been able to help. They were quick with answers and of course did not charge me for the diagnosis. Any sort of computer problem, this seems like a great place to start. Especially because if they can’t fix your problem, they can recommend somebody who probably can.

I brought my son’s laptop in for repair of a «oops!» of his that would have set me back on the repair bill nearly more than the computer cost from most other computer shops. Gavin at Friendly Computers had it fixed & good as new very quickly, and at price that worked for me. The staff was very friendly and professional and I felt I definitely received a great value. No surprises or hidden fees. Work done quickly and the repair was exactly as promised. I would recommend them without reservation!

Great group of guys! My son’s iphone 5 screen had to be repaired since he repeatedly dropped it. We brought it to Friendly Computers and they repaired it in a flash. Then one week later, my brilliant son dropped his newly repaired iphone again and it shattered the screen. I brought it back to Friendly Computers a second time and the guys were very understanding and helpful. I’m so glad I found this place!

Found Friendly Computers online and as soon as I hit the site up popped a «chat»…so I engaged and described my issues. Needed a printer installed on a network, needed to upgrade my modem and re-​install the external hard drive to wirelessly back up my data on two computers as well as tune up my wife’s computer.
They made an appointment the same day and were prompt in coming out. Tech was friendly and knowledgeable and got almost all the work done…
The reason I can’t give them 4 stars is two fold: one — their pricing mechanism is, IMHO, out of whack with real time. ¼ hour increments is the norm in the service industry and they charge ½ hour increments.
I found their hourly charge was reasonable but disappointed all the work did not get done in the promised «2 hours» committed.
The other reason is that the external hard drive was too challenging for the tech despite the assurances of the person I talked too… That did not get finished.
Overall I am somewhat happy and would probably use them again but I’m not a raving fan…

Took my computer to them and pretty unhappy with the entire experience. It took them a month to do repairs. It was pretty bad communication between them and me, They would always say they would call, but it always be me who had to ask for a status update.
The parts that they ordered they quoted me $ 60 plus labor. Looked online for the OEM part I needed and it was just $ 20 including S&H. the overall cost for the repair was more than $ 200. Also looked at my computer more in detail later and they put a piece of scotch tape on the enclosure button on the cd drive, it now pops open if that piece of tape isn’t there.
i also asked them to check my lcd cable because there were lines appearing on my screen, I asked to give me an update if anything more needed to be done for it.
They didn’t do any repairs on it and told me after I already paid they could order some more parts and fix it. At that point I just wanted my computer back and didn’t want to order anymore repairs through their shop.

I brought my PC to FRIENDLY COMPUTERS after I was told by Geek Squad and Office Depot that they wouldn’t even accept my computer without me giving them $ 250+ down.
I would recommend this establishment to anyone who needs fast, friendly and fair computer repair. My PC is seven years old and instead of telling me what a piece of crap my PC is (like the other guys did), they accepted my geriatric PC with open arms.
I took my PC there about a month ago, because it wouldn’t power on. I know less than zero about computer repair, so they could have really taken me for a ride if they wanted to. However, I was pleasantly surprised when they called me a few short days later to inform me that they can fix it for nearly half of what Geek Squad and Office Depot were trying to fleece me for… labor and parts combined!
Today I have taken my PC back there to have my antivirus software updated… and again I was welcomed with fast, friendly service.
If you’re like me, and you need a place to take your PC that’s going to give you good service at a decent price, I would recommend these guys for sure.
If you want to be treated like a cheapskate, because you won’t fork over $ 1,200 for a new PC, you can take it to the other guys. Don’t believe the hype. Save yourself the gas and time. Squad and Depot are in the business of selling new computers, not trying to help you save money by fixing the one that you already have. That’s why they ask for so much money up front.
Take your PC to these folks who are actually in the computer repair business. They’ll take care of you for a very reasonable down payment… and they are actually friendly.
