Specialties

We specialize in instructing in reality-​based Israeli self defense, functional fitness, and the licensed carry and use of firearms. We offer 12 different curriculums including;

Krav Maga, Haganah, LOTAR-(counter terrorism firearm training), Tactical Knife Fighting, Ground Survival, BJJ Combatives, Combat Wrestling, Muay Thai Kickboxing, Aikido, ICS-(Integrated Combat Systems), Combat Fitness, and CHL-(Concealed Handgun License). We also have an in-​house FFL if you would like to purchase a firearm. We have 8 qualified instructors to assist in your training. We offer training to ages ranging from young kids to older adults.

History

Established in 1999.

W actually started as a ministry in a Church. We just wanted to make a lasting impact in the lives of everyone possible. After training many kids and teenagers, adults started to show interest in our self defense and fitness. We continued to evolve and add to the programs we offer. What we offer now is an accumulation of my personal training and interest over the last 35 years. I have traveled extensively to train with some of the best instructors in the world in their area of expertise to bring the best defense and fitness solutions to our members.

John and Joy Peek are the owners of Haganah Houston. John is the head instructor.



Internation Haganah Federations — 2012 — «Black Belt of the Year».



John is a certified instructor in; F.I.G.H.T., (Fierce Israeli Guerilla Hand-​to-​Hand Tactics), I.T.K.-(Israeli Tactical Knife Fighting), Ground Survival, Trench Fighting, Combat Fitness, Combat Wrestling. He is also certified as a S2B Muay Thai Kickboxing Instructor. Teaches BJJ Combatives and I.P.T.T. (Israeli Professional Tactical Training) which is our Tactical Firearms Training. I.C.S. (Integrated Combat Systems) Instructor. He assists B.G. Smith in teaching Aikido.



John started his training in martial arts in the Wah Lum Tam Tui Kung Fu system founded by Grandmaster Pui Chan. He became an instructor under Sifu Wallace Cupp. He dedicated many years of training in the Wah Lum system and trained at the Wah Lum temple with Grandmaster Chan and other guest masters from China.
