We were trying to find a new-yet untested-restaurant and discovered Nucci’s. We were seated immediately and our waitress(Amber) was friendly and helpful. Our food arrived promptly and tasted great. To top it off helping sizes are generous and definitely priced well. I look forward to returning-only remembering to make reservations the next time!

Tried Nucci’s last night for the first time. I always give time for a new restaurant to work out the«issues» before eating there. First impression, Nick the owner greeted us right away and we chose to seat on the Café side instead of in the dinning room. Waitress was pleasant and knew the large menu. My husband and I both had different pasta dishes. Each sauce was very flavorable and the portions were large. The Italian wedding soup was delicious, thin broth with lots of home made meatballs. I really like the fact that when I ordered decaf coffee with my dinner the waitress made a fresh pot without being ask to and my mug never went empty! Now for dessert. I normally do not order dessert but after looking in the pastry case and hearing the desserts were home made, I went for the Cannoli Cake. SOGLAD I DIDFABULOUS!!! ** As for some of the not so good reviews at the bottom, one has to understand that a new smaller restaurant has many challenges to face and over come. Its difficult to find experience service staff willing to risk less tips(less income) when they can go and work for a established restaurant. New servers need time to develop their skills. The cooking staff needs time to learn to work as a well oiled machine. Also if the owner has never owned/operated a restaurant before its a lot of learning on the go. There are so many things customers are not aware of, way more than just cooking and serving food. Yes you are paying and want a good meal. Completely understandable, after all that’s why the restaurant is there to serve/cook up a great meal along with providing a wonderful dinning experience. However, if I encounter a unpleasant first time experience in privately owned restaurant I usually went a few months and try once more. If the things have not improved then I will not go again. Its easy to write a bad review, especially when you feel you have wasted hard earned money. Go to the owner and or manger an explain why you are displeased, let then make the situation right. Feed back good or bad helps! Please try to remember, a bad review in the first few months can ruin what can become a great neighborhood establishment and in the process destroying a owners dream and there life savings. I looking forward to being able to check five stars in my next review! P.S I personally do not know the owners, but have been in there shoes!

Best eggplant parm I have ever had I love the sauce. Tastes just like my Italian grandmother and mother made.

This was one of the worst Italian restaurants I have been to, and I have been to a lot. I had to wait 1 hr for a steak and baked potato. There were only 4 other tables. so very slow night and our server was also the bartender. and only one other server working. The server was good. the length it took the kitchen to push the food out. very unacceptable.

Don’t bother! The worst meals ever! We had 10 people and the food showed up uncooked and cold. The kitchen is inexperienced and the owner is horrible. We sent filet back 3 times and still owner never showed his face. Then waitress spilled hot steak juice on our friends and the owner still never showed. Don’t bother and tell friends don’t bother with this crappy restaurant.

Nucci’s Italian Seafood and Steak House appears to have finally hit its stride since taking over an expanded space in a strip mall on Ridge Road in Webster. Emphasizing homemade pasta, seafood and steaks, the restaurant and full bar features large portions and a choice of soup or salad with entrées. The tripe appetizer was outstanding, and the Delmonico steak was cooked perfectly. I plan to return again to try their huge pork chops or lamb shank.

Don’t waste your time we walked out after 45 minutes of sitting at our table and nobody even looked at us. Let alone took our order !!

I am going to piggy-back off of another review, but the night we were in there it was super smokey as well. Also was explained as some burned food. There was also a waitress that dropped an entire large tables worth of food(which is an accident obviously) but we spent about 20 minutes having someone clean food right from near our table, which was awkward. From my experience the food was good, it was a bit on the pricey side for what you are getting versus other Italian restaurants in the area so it would be more of a ‘special’ occasion. The ambiance was nice, very classy. I only heard about it through word-of-mouth they didnt do much road advertising nor have I heard anything about them. Its in a sleepy plaza so if you are not looking for it, you would miss it.

Do NOT waste your money! With all the great Italian Restaurants in Rochester… DONOT go here. The Carbonara was from a can… No fresh Ricotta, no Pancetta and the«homemade«Italian sausage was KIELBASA. The salad was tasteless. The calamari was tough and chewy. We left over ¾ of our dishes there. Save your money and go to the REAL Italian restaurants throughout the Rochester area. Sorry Nucci’s you suck.

The smoke problem has been fixed. We had a great meal and great service too. We are going to go back again tonight and see if it is still good on a Saturday night too.

I wanted to try this place based on great reviews on the food that I had read on Facebook. I arrived a little early and the place was slammed. The Host told us it would be a while. Not a problem since we were early. Our reservation time came and went. After 2 walk ins were seated before us we decided to leave. Now 25 min past our time and total time wasted 45 min, the owner scolded us for leaving and was rude on way out. Did not get a chance to eat, and there is a serious ventilation issue. Will not return

I made a reservation for my husband’s birthday at Nucci’s for December 18. We arrived a little early and were welcomed immediately by a smothering smoke to the point it hurt your eyes. This restaurant is not properly ventilated and many people had to walk outside to get fresh air. Nick Nucci, the owner, was«greeting» people at the door. In his most unfriendly fashion he informed us we would not be seated right away because we were early. He never gave us an update and when we asked once how much longer, he mumbled and walked away from us to seat someone else. After 45 minutes finally our name was called just as a couple with no reservation walked in. We walked over to the station and Nick Nucci took the couple that walked in to a table that had been empty for the past 10 – 15 minutes instead of seating us. Obviously upset I asked him why he helped them first when we had been waiting with a reservation for 50 minutes. He responded, «You didn’t tell me you wanted to sit there. Besides, 30 minutes past a reservation isn’t bad.» Obviously we walked out and will NEVER come back. If Nick Nucci thinks he will stay in business treating people like that then this will be a rude awakening for him. Several people on Facebook’s Webster, NY page shared similar experiences. It’s too bad because I like to support local business, just not this one!

We went to the recently-opened Nucci’s Italian Seafood & Steak House due to positive postings on Facebook. When we walked in, the place was filed with smoke, seemingly due to something that caught fire in the kitchen. The host apologized for it and said they were working on clearing it out. First impression: pretty poor. We were then seated all the way to the rear on the left side of the dining room, something that I liked because it meant we would have a shot at being able to hear each other talk as we ate, a rarity these days. Unfortunately, we were seated right next to a table with a screaming 1-year-old and a large family with others that were either also misbehaving or getting yelled at for misbehaving. While it was not the restaurant’s fault, it did not improve our first impression at all. Thank goodness they left about halfway through our meal. My wife noticed that our table was pretty wobbly, and the server Kevin used a plastic nameplate that I found on the floor near the table to our left to rectify the situation. That was nicely handled. The menu was not particularly exciting, basic fare true to the name of the place. Prices were higher than the décor or our first impressions would have predicted, but not outrageous. I had one of the specials, sea bass over escarole, with a cup of Italian wedding soup. My wife ordered the chicken parmesan with seafood bisque and the artichoke salad for a starter. We were both a little surprised when Kevin asked if it would be okay if the soup and the appetizer came out at the same time. Rather than make an issue over this we just said that would be fine. Kevin brought the soups out and then told us that the other server had just sold the last of the artichoke salads. However, he apologized and offered the tomato salad instead, which we accepted. The Italian wedding soup was very good but quite salty, which came to be a general trait of the food overall. The bisque was also good. The sea bass over escarole was VERY salty, while the chicken parm was less so. Both were tasty otherwise. The chicken parm was HUGE, so much so that it was easily enough for two people. We did not stay for dessert or coffee, as it was a Sunday night and the smell of the smoke was still fairly annoying. When we got the check, Kevin was WAY too attentive about getting it from us, particularly after we had signed it, when I am used to it just sitting on our table until we were ready to leave. Nope, Kevin checked back almost immediately, then made a lame«I don’t mean to hover» comment, to which I almost blurted out«Then why are you?» but bit my tongue. 10 years ago I would have, but I am getting mellow in my old age I guess. It was very inappropriate, to say the least. We felt quite rushed out of the place. Will we go back? Maybe once because the food was not bad, and we would like to give it one more try. Will I recommend it to others? Not at this point.
