Exactly the environment you would consider as the classic cigar smokers lounge… stuffed leather chairs, wooden floors and seeped in the aroma of cigars.
They offer a great selection of cigar brands and accessories. Friendly and knowledgeable staff to assist you in choosing your cigars. Big screen tv so sports and smoke… no problem!
It is perfect place to stop and unwind on the way to Hoboken or Union city (both NJ transit buses 126 and 119 stop literally at their door!)
There’s also a cute garden in the back if you prefer to sit outside!

Selection is minimal. Humidor is not properly humidified and temperature regulated, and the cigar I purchased pulled poorly probably as a result. Small living room for a lounge. No coffee or such are served here.

If you love a low-​key cigar smoking experience, then Havana on the Hudson is the place to have that experience. The owner, Gil, is easy-​going and makes you feel welcome and at home. Had a chance to stop in here last night for the first time and was impressed. I ducked into the humidor and was delighted by the selection that was offered. Not only was the selection good, the prices were also sane.
There’s nothing really extravagant about this store, but the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back here again. To try some alternatives to my usual La Gloria Cubanas.

This place is a hidden gem. Great and reasonably priced cigars, comfortable setting, and a knowledgable, friendly proprietor, Gil Flores, that embodies the proud heritage of Cuban Cigar-​making. The family’s Flores label is a top notch cigar that you’ll want to bring home.
So, if you are looking for a friendly place to kick back and have a smoke, you won’t regret visiting Havana on the Hudson Cigars. I can’t recommend this place enough!
