Just In Nail Studio

Walked in on a Saturday morning for mani and pedi. It was empty and 2 professionals were working with 2 customers. I was told 20 min wait. As the result waited 45 min instead. But the worst part, another woman walked in, whom they apparently knew. And one of the professionals started working with her while I kept soaking in water for another 10 min waiting for the other professional to finish.
Overall, the place looked nice, but the professionalism was 0. And the attitude was as that they didn’t care. The job itself was not something outstanding, but not bad.
I think 2.5 hrs overall for an attitude and an OK job is not worth. May be if the manager was there to make sure it runs smoothly, it could have been different. Or just don’t advertise that walk-​ins are weclome.

Came in on a Saturday morning to get a gel mani. The nail tech was very professional and efficient. Did a great job. 2 days later one nail chipped (I was doing very hands on housework so it’s likely that could have been the cause).
Returned to have the nail fixed by the owner who was extremely nice and helpful (I asked for suggestions for cuticle oil as I’m reestablishing my grooming/​beauty routine) –free of charge.
Very clean and cute décor from the outside in. Would definitely give them another try as I’m hoping to make this my go to nail salon.

Earlier this summer I was really excited to see a new nail salon in my area, and decided to stop by a month or so after they opened. Upon entering I was asked, rather snobishly, if I had an appointment, because I did not I was told I had to make one for the next day. I was fine with that as my husband was with me and wanted a manicure as well, and just thought perhaps they are booked up for the rest of the day (it was around 1 pm). I will admit that I was tempted to call and cancel the appointment because I did not feel like the staff was particularly friendly when setting the appointment AND I thought it was odd that they did not just take a walk in when the salon was completely empty when we walked in. Clearly I did not cancel and we (husband did join) arrived at our mani-​pedi appointments ahead of schedule. Upon arriving we were told that we could not get our pedis together as they were new and short staffed. I completely understood this, but what I didn’t understand is how when another young woman arrived she then proceeded to give my husband a pedicure while the woman who was servicing me «trained» her. My tech guided her step by step from the order of services to how to hold the file. In the process of getting our services my husband was cut, several times, I was sprayed with water and both pedicures took an insanely long time. Someone else would have probably stopped there and just left, but no we really wanted to give them a shot. We then proceeded to our manicures which consisted of pretty much the same thing, getting wet, waiting and training. When we were finished we were out 80+ dollars! For two basics manicures and pedicures. We did not get spa pedicure and I only got a basic color (no gel) on my own nails (and husband nothing). While the décor was super cute and inviting, for me it was all smoke and mirrors. The level of customer service and professionalism was lacking to say the least. The services offered do not justify the cost in any way. The staff is (was) inexperienced, chairs (chic and cute) uncomfortable, and the atmosphere uninviting. Perhaps this will all change as the business grows.

Extremely unprofessional. After arriving on time for my appointment, I waited for 40 minutes without an acknowledgement of the wait time by the employees. I left without a manicure or any type of explanation from the staff. The store itself is set up nicely but their customer service is poor.

I like the service here, everyone is really professional and extremely kind. Also, the lady who was doing my nails was very thorough. The place has cute décor. The only downfall is my friend and I dried our toe nails for about 20 – 30 minutes, however, it did not try. Typically, at other salons, 20 – 30 minutes would be enough time. Also, they chipped within a week. Usually, the nail polish on my toes would stay on longer than a week before they chip.

This is the only nail studio in walking distance of my apartment, so i came here for a mani pedi. The polish job was fine, but the experience was not that relaxing. The technician seemed in a rush, which was strange considering i was the only person there that afternoon. Also, the girl behind the desk took the emptiness of the salon as an opportunity to blast Adele and sing at the top of her lungs all during my appointment. Not professional in the least. Probably won’t be back.

I’ve been to this place several times and haven’t been here in a while… out of all the salons I have been to in the area, this is my absolute favorite! They always take such good care of me! I’ll admit in the past there were a few times I had to wait longer than expected, but it’s not something that bothered me because the service made up for it!

Drove past this place and thought it was too cute to not try. I am so glad I did! Service was great. Had a gel manicure and pedicure and felt so relaxed. Met the owner, such a sweetheart! I definitely recommend!

Was walking by this morning on my way to get coffee when I came across this nail salon; so I popped in. Got a fabulous gel manicure by Paula. Very clean, nice décor, and loved the music they were playing. It’s also really convenient that they take credit cards and you can add your tip on the card. I’ll definitely be back!

I had a gel manicure and a regular pedicure done. Usually, my pedicures last more than 2 weeks, this pedicure lasted me less than a week. The polish started chipping off on day 3 and their manager had mentioned how their nail polishes are brand new, etc. etc. Atmosphere is awesome, staff was welcoming and very nice, but I came to have a great mani/​pedi and only got half of my money’s worth. Haven’t gone back ever since.

This was my second visit to this nail salon and both times the results were great! This time I had a pedi and gel mani from Stephanie and she did a really good job! The salon has an amazing décor and is very clean! They accept credit cards and tip can also be included in the card which is very convenient! Overall it is a great addition to the neighborhood! I will be coming back soon!

Decided to give the salon another try since the Décor was so fab. I came in for a regular fillin for my birthday weekend. The whole process took two hours for a fill-​in and to paint my nails. After being unsatisfied with the poor qualityI also left the salon without a warm rag or lotion on my cuticles or hands. After discussing this with the manager she told me not to pay. I will never return to the salon again great intentions but poor quality in the staff

This is the second time I’ve tried to like this salon. The first time I came, I asked for a gel manicure and it peeled off the 2^nd day. I also waited 40 minutes to be seen. The second time I came, I made an appointment for 1 pm and was switched from chair to chair and was finally taken 50 minutes later. The owner of the salon apologized only when I got up to walk out. For 50 minutes she just sat there watching me wait. This place knows how to take reservations with their fancy, online system, but they have no idea how to manage their time to honor the reservation. I should have received a call telling me that my appointment would not be at 1.

Really really cute place, too bad the quality does not match the décor. The owner really struggled to paint my nails, it took way longer than normal. My pedicure was after and really rough. Thought I would try this place bc I love the idea of something in the neighborhood, definitely dissapointing. They painted way into the cuticles and two days later my gel manicure needs to be redone.

Got my first pedicure here and I will be back soon for manicure. Salon is clean, staff is great, and prices are fair. Lupe was a great technician as well!

I got the spa pedicure and manicure and I’m excited to have a new go-​to place for nails and relaxation. There’s so much to say… The staff is warm, professional, and they take their time to do a quality job. The actual salon is pristine and so cute, each tub is thoroughly scrubbed down between each pedicure. The polish selection is huge. The owner aims to please and is an extremely personable woman who expects the same of her employees. :) treat yourself! Go here.

It is a really nice salon and I only give it 3 stars because the nail technician did not give me the quality time of relaxation for the foot massage after my pedi! She applied lotion and did a quick rub. Meanwhile in other places I go to they really focus on massaging your feet and legs for at least 5 minutes or more! For $ 23 I do expect a better foot rub. And not to mention she got nail polish all over my flip flop!

So happy to finally come in and get my pedicure here. I was so happy to see some nice cookies and brownies offered to customers (I dived into the brownies really fast-​Yum). It is a very nice Nail Salon. If you are chic like me you’ll come here always. Music is right, Everyone’s nice, pedi is on point, the staff takes their time and makes the service good. The décor makes you feel so welcome, relax, and feel very special. Having glasses of Wine with girlfriends or guy friends while getting pampered is the best — this is the perfect place.

Great job! Very clean salon, loved my mani pedi and the price is great too! Love my eyebrow wax, salon is upscale and great décor! My new nail spot! Happy that it opened!

It’s about time Weehawken starting giving their women gourmet spa options!!! This place is fresh and comfortable, their staff is friendly and really know how to work those cuticles– which every woman knows is an important factor for a quality manicure. They also have refreshments and chocolate chip cookies!!! This place truly deserves all 5 stars!!! Welcome to the neighborhood!
