History

Established in 2007.

The Wyeast Shipping Center was originally opened in conjunction with the Wyeast Bookstore and Art Gallery in an adjacent suite. Visitors to the Villages at Mt Hood could have their items wrapped, packed and shipped to friends or their home.

In 2013, the bookstore and art gallery closed, but the need for a shipping and business service center remained, and continued under new ownership. We have a strong commitment to provide excellent service with integrity to local businesses, residents, and visitors from all over the world.

I have been a resident of The Mountain Community since 1994. For a number of those years employment took me away to Portland on a 100-​mile daily commute. Life in town revolved around the wonderful world of commercial real estate management. Working around high-​powered attorneys, bankers and CPAs taught me how to deliver excellent service in a timely fashion.

I don’t miss the hectic pace, and enjoy the wonderful relationships I’ve developed with locals and annual visitors. The money may not be as plentiful, but it’s exceeded by the value of relationships I’ve developed with my customers.
