Kidville Wellesley offers classes for babies, toddlers, and kids. Choose from early childhood enrichment classes for kids in gym, music, art, dance, enrichment, and more. The Kidville University pre-​school alternative program prepares toddlers for their transition to school. Camp Kidville is a fun, active, educational summer day camp for toddlers and kids up to age 6.

The premier destination in Greater Boston for kids and toddler activities, Kidville also offers hassle-​free, all-​inclusive kids birthday parties in our kids birthday party venue. Our state-​of-​the-​art indoor playground/​playspace is open all year-​round. Silver Membership is free with enrollment in any Kidville class, while upgrades to Gold, Platinum and Diamond levels are also available.

History

Established in 2005.

The Kidville concept started when Shari Misher Stenzler, co-​found of London Misher Public Relations, found herself carrying her baby and stroller down a long flight of stairs for her child’s first music class. «There must be a better way,» she thought and began informally polling friends and fellow parents about their needs. Fun and familiar geometric shapes are the design foundation for the Kidville interior space. Used with vibrant colors, the design elements encourage exploration and intuitively guid children throughout the space. This playful and cross-​functional design provides the perfect setting for everything from intimate classes to «Big Blow Out» birthday parties. Kidville operates locations across the globe including New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Mumbai, Hong Kong, and Dubai.

We had our daughter’s bday party there. On the plus side, the place is clean which is a good thing given how many kids cycle through places like this.
On the down side, it was far overpriced for what the birthday party ended up being. We were sold on the idea of the princesses and knights party and were excited to make her feel special. On the day of, we walk in and there is a craft table set up with some stickers and crowns and paper swords. Another table with a few temporary tattoos and then a side table with moldable sand. Um, ok. We had 2.5 «party managers» 2 of whom just basically floated around and made sure the kids didn’t die. Other than that, they served no purpose. Of those 2.5 managers, 1 was actively engaged with the kids and he did a good job.
I’ll leave you with this parting thought, the cake smelled like stagnant water and the kids actually skipped it after a few bites. How many 5 year olds do you know that pass on cake?
Roughly 1k later and I just have to chalk it up to tuition. I learned a lesson and hopefully I can help you from having to learn it too.

Visited here for a birthday party and it was okay. It sits in on a corner in downtown Wellesley with very limited parking either on the street or at surrounding restricted lots. Basically this place is a combination store, hair cut and small gym/​activities rooms for kids and toddlers. We started in one room with arts and crafts and then moved to a wide open gym space with all sorts of mats and climbing walls and even a zip line. That probably would have been sufficient since the arts and crafts was just okay. The staff is somewhat helpful but they are young and trying to see how they can adapt to the audience. They try and interact with the kids, but it seems awkward and forced at times, however they were very nice. I was impressed with how clean and new the facility was and it seems like they have a lot to offer. I could of done without the store at the front since that is the only way in and out of the place, but I guess they have to make money in other ways. For what it is worth, this place did not survive in Foxboro and closed about 6 months ago due to lack of interest and sales. Not sure how this spot will do, certainly in a better area but without easy parking, it may be a challenge. In all the kids had fun and it was decent and a definite step above other kid gyms in the area.

I’m writing this from the perspective of a PANK (Professional Aunt, No Kids — ugh yeah I know, but I swear this is a real term, just google it) who often likes to get little things to celebrate the kids of my friends. (Gotta get that photo card at the end of the year!) Kidville def does not disappoint in that regard. The store is curated really well (lots of age ranges represented in the toys) and has a nice balance between clothing (edgy, but not too hipster) and other toys. Staff are very friendly and offer suggestions on gifts which is especially helpful when I’m in a hurry. Last time I brought stuff back home, my mom was so impressed that I’ve now been tasked with purchasing gifts for all of our family friends’ kids (…my bad).
I’ve also attended a birthday party at Kidville. Granted I’m past the age to use the gym, but that equipment is seriously legit. Kids seemed to be having fun and were managed well by the staff (teachers?) in charge, so that the adults could kick back and talk to each other without worrying about the crazy kid running around (you know there’s always that kid in a group, but I didn’t see one this time!). If I were a mom I’d def use this since it seems like stress relief, but since I’m a PANK I’ll just get them gifts at the Kidville retail section on the way to the party. Two birds, one stone.

Kidvill Wellesley is a truly fantastic play and learning center for kids. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The space is truly impressive, especially the gym. I was there for a kids birthday party. The party was for a 1 year old, but the kids ranged 1 – 8. There was something for everyone. The kids can’t get enough of the zipline, rock wall, and trampoline. (And everybody came away safely from these activities). They’ll definitely come home worn out and ready to take their nap! There was also a large arts and crafts room that was used for food and birthday cake. Though we didn’t use it, there was a well equipped music studio.

My kids have taken a couple of classes here as well as spent some time at the open gym. The gym is beautiful and clean (something you’d expect in a new facility). It’s a little small, but that can be helpful when keeping an eye on the little ones. Rockin Railroad was cute, but the sports class my son took was a joke. The instructors had no control over the class and a couple of parents actually had to go in and separate some kids who were fighting. Kidville had just opened, so maybe the staff still needed to adapt??? One concern I have is that during a visit to their boutique (they do have some adorable clothes, toys, etc.) my 3-​year-​old needed to use the restroom and we were told that there was a private event and were not allowed to use the restroom. Who doesn’t let a 3-​year-​old use the restroom!?! I’m hoping that they work out some of the kinks, but until then I will be taking my kids elsewhere.

My son has attended multiple classes and has had a blast, especially in the play space. We also held his birthday party here. The event planning was completely hassle free, we picked a theme, showed up, and was wowed by how they decorated the place and planned out the activities. Biggest highlight was the play space… all the older kids literally jumped up and down as they were getting ready to go into the play space. Love the access to special member events (special craft days, fashion show, etc.) and sales too!

The facility is a step above other kid gyms out there. It offers more than just a gym — with a music studio and art room as well. The staff is very friendly and the owner has been very helpful in arranging a birthday party for my son. My kids love it here!
