A small group, full day, home-​based preschool program for children aged 2 – 5. Philosophy: love and respect. Goal: to enrich and inspire, as well as introduce language and great literature, reading readiness, math, art and craft experiences, and more. Taught by an experienced preschool teacher/​director, CPR and First Aid certified, the program focuses on the whole child in a loving, nurturing, safe facility.

History

Established in 2013.

Iris Tompkins, owner and director of The Learning Circle of Wellington, has many years experience in childcare, and owned her own preschool in NY before relocating to Florida. She recently finished a position being the Director for a large, nationally known preschool in Boynton Beach. She decided to start a home based childcare because she missed working directly with the children and saw the need for small, loving, individual experiences, rather than the «big box» childcare that is available in Palm Beach County. Her first priority is safety and love, love, love. She feeds the children healthy food and snacks, which are included in the tuition. The philosophy: love and respect. The goal: to enrich and inspire, as well as introduce language and great literature, reading readiness, math, art and craft experiences, and more. CPR and First Aid certified, focusing on the whole child in a loving, nurturing, safe facility.

Business Owner

Many years’ experience in childcare and preschool. A former owner of The Child Enrichment Center in Monroe, New York, and Director of The Learning Experience in Boynton Beach, Florida. CPR and First Aid Certified, she has obtained her Florida Director’s Credential, as well as her National CDA.
