I had a really odd experience with this place. I dropped it off early April to get my wedding dress hemmed and paneling add to the back of my corset and add a few more things. I got a text from someone there saying my dress was ready and I needed to come in for a fitting. I call days ahead and made an appointment. I went in with my mother to try on the dress and the only thing done was the hemming. No paneling was added and none of the extra stuff I had asked for. It had actually been taken in in one spot and I thought «thank god I have been dieting» otherwise, because it was taken in where it should not have, I would not have been able to get in or out of it. The other women working there told me the lady who worked on my dress was not there because she was at some other place fitting a mariachi band. I left there that day upset and practically in tears since my wedding was a week and half out and almost nothing had been done to my dress. They made an appointment for me for the next day and said I could explain what had gone wrong to lady who actually worked on the dress. I came in with my mother the next day and the lady who worked on it was there and said she was sorry she was not there the day before but she had a dentist appointment that went for two hours and she was not expecting it to go that long. Um… I thought you were fitting a marichi band, was my first thought. But she had me try my dress on again and everything I wanted done was done! It was hemmed the paneling was there it was no long taken in in the wrong spots and all the other stuff I wanted was there. It was basically a completely different dress then the day before. So in the end I was just like «ok, whatever, I have my dress, it is fixed and that’s what matters.» it was odd experience for sure but in the end everything was fixed I look beautiful in my dress and most importantly Ill have a dress to wear 6 days from now on my wedding day. Crazy sauce.

Amazing service. I will definitely use again. I brought in a last minute alteration to my maid of honor dress, during a busy prom season. I was afraid because my dress came in late and needed a quick turn around, I’d have to pay a fortune or end up with a hack job, thankfully she came to the rescue and gave me neither. I literally had a week before I needed it and needed to have the bust adjusted and the hem done. She said she’d have it by the day I needed it turns out she had it done the very next day! And she charged me a very fair price didn’t even charge me for my lack of planning/​urgency. The hem is great and the darts she did in the bust line look fantastic. I’ll be using her services again as I’m very very short and need everything in my wardrobe hemmed. It’s a tiny little operation, a hidden office in a shady looking alley but the service is five star and they are super nice.

I completely disagree with the other reviewer on «not being charged an arm and a leg».I went here for alterations to my wedding dress because it was recommended by the store I bought my dress from. However, prior to this a friend of mine had told me not to go there because she had grossly over charged her for a simple alteration. But, my mother wanted to go where the dress shop recommended. When we FINALLY got the dress finished the end total was over $ 300 because «hemming it was tricky». Well let me tell you, I don’t even think she hemmed it because I was stepping ALL over it on my wedding day. Not the mention that my bustle broke and in fixing it she left a visible red mark on my dress. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone for wedding dress alterations because of the outrageous cost and because of the end result. Also, the shop is poorly ran — people coming in and out during my fitting which she would leave me to just stand there while she attended to them — and she never called me when she said she would. It’s also very dirty, my white dress was filthy from walking around in there. And most of the staff is rude and made a rude comment to my mother upon ringing up.

Professional, quality work and fun to work with!

Have had these gals hem difficult gowns, do alterations and even hem jeans. Even had them replace a zipper in a wet suit. They are always fast and do a great job, and hey, they are fun to work with, too. Easy in and out of the parking lot if you are in a hurry. You don’t have to pay an arm and a leg, either.
