Woody’s Pizza & Wings

About 5 years ago I vowed never to go back to Woody’s. I had ordered 3 pizzas and every pizza was wrong and I was treated rudely when I brought it to their attention. They need to learn there are a lot of other businesses competing for the same money.
Last week I went back. The Philly sandwich was good, not great. A good value for the money. I tried a few wings with it. The wings were nicely cooked but the alleged nuclear sauce tasted like Texas Pete. Boring wings.
I will go back but it won’t be on my frequent visit list.

The pizza is just okay (3 stars). The cheese was a little chewy. It’s ok if you’re looking for a cheap meal.
Update: The crispy chicken tenders and fries are really good! 5 stars!

After more than a half hour watching the employees play darts I finally had to go inside to find out what happened
Seems like they are more concerned with games than their customers

Best pizza in town! Hand tossed and no shortage of toppings. The pizzas are huge which is perfect for lunch the next day.
If your in the mood for wings try the Blackened Style, they’re perfectly seasoned and the drum sticks are big!
Couldn’t ask for a better local pizza joint. Give em a try!

Meh. Unimpressed at best, but if you’re hungry it will fill your belly. I wouldn’t plan on dining in, which we did on this occasion. It doesn’t seem to have air, is pretty dingy and run down inside and features 2 tables with stools. The ambiance is in the negative range. We went midday when they weren’t busy and ordered a couple slices of pizza, a Philly, and a calzone. Everything was pretty big portion wise! But it was still rather expensive. They do have a Unilocal deal you can buy ahead of time which I failed to grab. The employee at the counter wasn’t the friendliest; almost felt like we were bothering him. The employee doing the cooking was a bit nicer when he brought out our food. Sitting there waiting, which took awhile! I noticed something rather gross… they don’t wear gloves while preparing the food. :/
I would have ordered delivery sometime if we were feeling lazy and wanted something other than just pizza, but after seeing no gloves and how dingy the place is, I will probably pass.

Pizza is very good, you can order various topping without getting a soggy pizza. Toppings are chopped so that you can have a variety of toppings with just the right amount. Had a sausage, pepper, mushroom, onion and was very crispy with a light tomatoe sauce. The crust was medium thin and if you look closely at the picture the crust was punctured for air, crispy, tasty and piping hot, I ate in — pizza is always better eaten in. On Thursday they have a $ 5.00 cheese pizza special, I will be back for that.

Good pizza, good wings, good prices, fast delivery… What more could you ask for?!

Woody’s quality has severely dropped in the last two years. It’s a shame because their pizza and wings were excellent.
