Way too slow, took 1 ½ hours, constantly waiting, and I was only one Lin the waiting room

Honestly, I’m surprised to see such a low rating. I always have a positive experience at this place. This was my go-​to urgent care when I lived in the area. Just like any urgent care, you may have to wait if there is a rush. However the doctors here are worth the wait. Unlike most urgent cares, you won’t get some young doctor fresh out of med school who quits six month later. I typically have seen the same doctors everytime I come here. I also find they don’t try to rush you out the door. They take the time to listen and answer any questions. Truly one of the best urgent cares in the area.

Horrible place please stay away. They hand out unnecessary drugs like its candy and then lie about them. They use non doctors and let you think you’re seeing a doctor. They will also order unnecessary test just to make money.

I wish I could give negative stars! Came for my first visit WITH all my previous medical records and very current lab results (less than 30 days old). I finally meet with the practitioner, an hour after I arrived for my appointment. As soon as she walked in she was scolding me for my medical issues. I have a thyroid problem.
She then wanted to run every kind if unnecessary testing. Made it as though my health was so dire, I could drop dead at any moment. REALLY?!? I just moved nearby and needed a new primary to continue my thyroid scripts. Hence the reason I brought all CURRENT lab work and medical records.
But alas, I have good insurance and they saw dollar bills. What a waste of my time. Never again!

I’ve only had great experiences here. For an urgent care facility, they are quick and efficient. The staff is very friendly and wait times are minimal (again, for urgent care). This is always my go to location when I cannot get into my primary doctor and need care!

An apathetic and lazy staff. Lacking in all areas of professionalism. Tried to charge $ 130 dollars to be seen. Refused to bill provider as we came from out of state. Don’t take your child here!

Awesome care! We have only received the best care at Lakes Urgent Care. The doctors are compassionate, kind, knowledgeable, calm and helpful.

We’ve been to Lakes Urgent Care many times and I have never had anything but a great experience with friendly staff, quick service and accurate diagnosis. Yesterday my son was there was another bout of Strep Throat. I had lots of questions and the doctor was friendly and answered all of them with patience. I have always been satisfied there. I would recommend it to anyone. I feel badly that anyone had a bad experience but I can’t say anything buy kind, wonderful things!

I made the mistake of coming here, please do not make the same mistake. There is fraudulent activity that goes on here and if you have an insurance with a high deductible or you have no insurance, be forewarned that you will be billed for medically unnecessary testing.
I came in one evening for a simple issue, I was having no symptoms, I simply wanted a confirmatory negative lab test. I signed in and despite being the only person in the waiting room, it took them almost an hour and a half to bring me back to a room. They let a histrionic woman who was coughing go in front of me which was a nice touch.
The provider who saw me, Ms. Lindstrom, breezed in. I told her of my concern and asked her to order one lab test. She agreed and left the room within two minutes, there was no exam of any kind. My specimen for the lab was collected and I paid my co-​pay and left. Lo and behold, a month later, I receive a bill for all these other tests that I DID NOT consent to and had ZERO business being ordered in the first place. No national guideline would have supported ordering these tests, so this is straight up fraud.
Then I get a «final notice» from Botsford because my lab was a send-​off. These people are idiots too. They don’t even try to contact me to pay the bill. I just get a lovely notice less than 30 days after receiving the service that they are going to turn me into a collection agency. Really? It’s been less than 30 days, cool your jets.
So this whole experience was a headache and cost me way more than I bargained for.

I got something in my eye a week ago Saturday, and although I had immediately washed out my eye and then again on Sunday, it was still sore on Monday, so I went to Lakes Urgent Care (on Monday August 25, 2014) after work. They were able to get me in to see the doctor within about 20 to 30 minutes after treating three other patients ahead of me, which I thought was good. They were able to first simply look into my eye with lower level magnification, then used dye to check for any scratches under higher magnification and were able to determine that nothing was still in my eye. They determined it was simply irritated from the initial injury, which probably wasn’t washed out until the Sunday rinsing I had performed. They suggested I use eye drop antibiotics because I’m prone to infections and called in a prescription to my usual pharmacy. Overall, I was delighted with my experience, and I thought the price was reasonable as well!

The doctors here misdiagnosed my son’s broken arm and caused serious damage. We came from out of town to visit family. My son fell while playing soccer, and his arm was hurting. We came to Lakes Urgent Care and they took x-​rays and they said it was dislocated. Two of the doctors there wrenched his arm around with multiple attempts to pop the bone back in. He was crying in pain. One doctor said, «believe me, I wouldn’t be doing this if it was broken.» They referred us to see an orthopedic doctor in the morning to make another attempt to pop the bone back in. That doctor took x-​rays and also looked at the first set of x-​rays. He said it had not been dislocated at all, it was a complete fracture. He said the break was visible in the first set of x-​rays. In the second set of x-​rays, the bone had gotten displaced, probably due to the urgent care doctors wrenching my son’s arm. When I called to discuss the mistake with urgent care, they just brushed me off, saying they were not experts at reading x-​rays. They were not apologetic for their mistake, the extra pain my son endured, and the extra complications of getting his now worse break healed.

(CJ, wood) been take my whole family there going on ten years now and I will have to say its cost efficient and time saving there has been times I have had to wait but given the situations the hospitals were far more busier. friendly doctors, skilled staff that also has xray, I. Vs and in-​house testing to help diagnosis how sick you are.
I was mpressed and we all still go there.
also Dr Dell takes urgent care he’s arranged this even if its busy he doesnt like to turn any one a way, he is a very compassionate DR well worth sometime you may wait
many thing also in buildering less travel for some specialist so nice to have that chose

Horrible place!!! I’ve been in there a few times. They told me a rash was an allergic reaction, went to my regular doctor a few days later after it wasn’t better and it wasn’t an allergic reaction. I waited two hours for a cortisone shot. Recently I went in to get an X-​ray on my wrist. 30 minutes went by and still haven’t been called back– was the only person in there! I asked them what the hold up was and they asked if I signed in. Finally at 40 minutes I left.
Zero stars.

Terrible!!! If I could I would give it zero stars. The convenience of it being close is not worth it. My wife’s shoulder was hurting her very badly. They told her that she had bronchitis. Her lungs checked clear tho. Strangely enough they had asked if anyone else in our home was sick, and she told them that I had bronchitis. I gave them a second chance when my son. He had a rash that was spreading. They said they did not know what it was, but that it wasn’t contagious. Sounds pretty stupid huh?! Yes once again, wrong. Never again!!!
