I just had the best lunch ever, y’all. It was an amazing roasted portobello wrap with a pepita pesto. I mean, eating every single morsel, good, licking the pesto off my fingers good, savoring every last bite good.
Such good food, great people, and a very welcoming place — met new people over lunch, too. What a great café and grocery!
If you’re in the area, you have to stop and get a little something to nosh on or stay for breakfast or lunch!

We followed the Unilocal right after crossing into the US to what we hoped would be a delicious adorable country café with fresh pie and also maybe some electronics so we could buy a cable to play music in the car. We found the loveliest café with organic food, nice coffee, fresh sandwiches and baked goods and the friendliest nicest staff who literally offered to give us the cable we needed out of their own car. There is a small room with local ciders and organic wines, there is an unexpected collection of marble statuary, and a pretty little back patio for sitting outside. This will be my preferred stop from now on whenever in the area.

Stumbled upon this awesome spot on our way back from mont Tremblant to New Jersey. Really fresh, delicious, healthy food just minutes off the interstate. Lots of organic, locally grown goodies. A welcomed alternative to typical roadside food options. Highly recommend it! So happy the pizza joint we stopped at first was closed.

A quick run off I87 for a fabulous meal! Fresh ideas for sandwiches and baked goods. We enjoyed a toasted ham wrap with apple slaw. A greek salad with tasty hummus and feta. Friendly staff!

The store and deli are good. Nice little place in the middle of nowhere. However, it’s possible for a bad attitude to spoil anything. The young man behind the counter was pretty rude and condescending. If I hadn’t been starving and miles from anything else, I would have left.

This was like a beautiful country oasis after spending hours in line at the border crossing… we couldn’t have been happier to find this very friendly place! Great coffee, friendly service, & delicious vegetarian options. A cute store with organic offerings. Outdoor seating farmside! Ahh, we loved it and can’t wait to come back!

Conroy’s is definitely one of my most favorite places to go to when I’m up in Plattsburgh. It’s such a cute shop with so many different things on offer. I’m talking groceries, alcohol, meats, and not to mention… delicious, delicious food. I’ve had the turkey club more times than I’d be willing to admit and each time it’s lived up to my expectations. Note: the service here is on the slow side. I wasn’t in a rush per se, but the food definitely takes a little bit of time to come out. It’s well worth it though. Enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea while you wait for your highly satisfactory meal to come out. Excellent service, excellent food, and excellent views of Conroy’s farm. Highly recommend.

I’ve found that this is the only decent place to get food in the border area, on the way to and from Montréal. They also have a nice shop with meat, fish, preserves, etc… Great place to stop when camping if you forget some essentials.

Healthy, delicious offerings just off I-​87 seems unimaginable, but Conroys Organics is the real deal. The breakfast burrito was excellent: fresh ingredients, made to order, super tasty. The grilled turkey club was just as good. Plenty of grocery items available, too. We were grateful to have an option other than the same roadside chains that are all but unavoidable. Thanks, Conroys!

Great place just outside of Plattsburgh city limits. A cattle farm, grocery store, market, bakery and deli in one.
Always at least 2 soup options (one vegetarian), usually more, though. The soups are always spot on.
The salads and sandwiches are fresh and flavorful as well. House made breads are quite good.
A best kept secret are the cookies! Try one, I dare you.
Deli closes at 6p, store closes at 7p.

This town is lucky to have an establishment as fine as this, but we were even luckier to find it. Returning from Montréal and feeling peckish, I fired up Unilocal and, lo, Conroy’s was 0.6 miles away. So glad we stopped. The chili wrap was delicious and hit the spot. The staff was so friendly, we felt a bit sad leaving. Also a fine array of statuary for your landscaping needs.
