We specialize in French Pastry with a twist. We use locally sourced, organic ingredients from our farm partners and use white whole wheat flour in most of our treats to increase the nutritional value and add whole grains. We also have many Gluten Free options.
History
Established in 2011.
Chef Lila started this business in 2011 after being a pastry chef in some of the country’s most sought after kitchens. She attended The French Culinary Institute in NYC and worked on Iron Chef America for The Food Network. She won a James Beard Scholarship for Culinary Excellence to assist her in attending school.

Chef Lila’s passion for baking began in her grandmother’s kitchen at an early age. Mesmerized by the magic of rising dough, her passion for food followed her through several un-related careers until she could deny her calling no longer. Since deciding to dedicate her life to baking, Chef Lila has earned her degree in pastry arts from the French Culinary Institute in New York City and has worked for a variety of high-end food industry venues including the Food Network. In 2010, she was awarded the prestigious James Beard Scholarship. She now partners with Share our Strength, a non-profit that helps to feed children and families in need. Chef Lila’s vision for Brûlée Bakery is to channel her passion for dessert into a company that stands for holistic practices and sustainability.
