Quadratec

Purchased a TJ tailgate seal from Quadratec, which was claimed to be an OEM replacement part. Installed the seal and subsequently realized that it was about two inches too long on the verticals.
So, bought another tailgate seal from Quadratec, this time a higher priced version. Installed it, same thing.
These parts from Quadratec just do not fit the TJ.
Bought a third, this time from a genuine Mopar dealer, and it fits perfectly.
Quadratec non responsive in issuing credits. Will never buy from this company again.

Great place to order jeep parts from. I’m lucky enough to live close by so I can pick up the orders if I need them right away. Even if they have to be shipped it’s never more than 2 days. Excellent customer service and knowledgeable staff!

I’ve ordered many things through Quatratec while restoring an ’84 CJ7, but many times after I place the order I find out one or more parts are back ordered, sometimes for several weeks. I also shop their competitors online and have never had that same experience, nor with other retailers in general.
Product is generally good, but I feel this is a bait and switch scenario where they «know» they don’t have it, just want to get the order from me anyway. I’ve been in corporate IT for a long time and I know that online inventory management just isn’t this complicated — all the others guys do it just fine.
I called customer support to explain, all I got was «what would you like me to do about it?». The guy could have cared less. So, cancelled the order, and won’t be back.

Purchased backordered parts around Christmas and received them about two months later, left on my doorstep in terrible condition. The box was mangled and the rock rails inside were completely exposed; paint chips, scratches in the paint AND metal, and the hardware must have fallen out as well. I know this isn’t Quadratec’s fault, but it’s the bad customer service that led me to leaving this bad review. Waited about a week for an email response after sending in a very kind, detailed explanation about the order but decided to call before I received one. The long email I sent was not even read. I told the rep to read my email and call me back when he see’s the photos I sent and read the whole explanation of the situation. No call back that day. I call the next day and ask if he read the email and proceeded to RE-​EXPLAIN the situation to the same guy.
My choices were:
1. Take the parts (Two long 50lb+ boxes) to the post office myself to ship back.
2. Take off work and wait around for a pickup on any given day at any given time.
3. Keep the parts that I waited two months for.
Decided #3 and didn’t want to wait longer for a new pair because they were still on backorder. So I asked how much can be refunded in return for keeping a terribly damaged pair of rock rails that I need to have repaired (because busted up rock rails are not going on my new 2016). The rep clearly didn’t care much about quality customer service and offered me $ 100 which wouldn’t even cover cost of repair for them. Decided to have them come pick it up. The whole situation is pretty ridiculous and its much easier to deal with other companies such as ExtremeTerrain which care about their customers and service. First and last Quadratec experience.

I needed a storage solution for my vinyl windows and some winter mats. I just their live chat on a Sat. morning and Rick was kind enough to help me find a storage bag that was in stock to be shipped. With Christmas right around the corner he offered me free FedEx ground shipping so my package would arrive this week. Great Experience right from my living room.

Every order I’ve placed has arrived quickly and without any problems. Haven’t had any problems with fit up or the quality of the parts that I ordered. I appreciate the headache free experiences and helping me keep my xj on the road. Cheers.

I purchased the Truckiight LED lights for my JK in 2012 and had nothing but trouble with them. They leaked (water got thru the «Sealed» lens not once. not twice but three times. I offered to pay the difference to UPGRADE to the JW Speakers lights as I didn’t trust that the Trucklights would last another year and that their quality was subpar. I Spoke with Keith whom was apparently the only person who could make the decision and he said that was not an option. He offered to send me out another set of truck lights to replace my failing ones but advised me that it would be the last time (remember. 3^rd replacement) as the lights were out of warranty. I again asked if I could pay the difference to upgrade to a better light since these had failed me 3times in under 3 yrs and he said no. I work in retail and I would NEVER tell a guest NO especially when they are wanting to give me more money due to a product that I sold them that is NOT meeting their expectations. I used to tell everyone I knew to check out Quadratec for their Jeep needs but not anymore as they clearly do not care to take care of the guest after the transaction on a faulty product! BIG FAIL!

Quads my go to place for jeep parts when im in a jam and need something pronto. I’ve Run into a couple of the guys from there on the trails at rausch creek from time to time .they are jeep enthusiasts and off roaders just like us so they know what you need and know the products and parts inside and out. Being in chester pa makes shipping of parts very fast. ive never had an issue with shipping or service in general over 8 years of dealing with them… even when i find something just slightly less somewhere else I still buy from quad because I know if i ever have an issue its going to get sorted fast.

Not only does Quadratec offer a great selection of Jeep parts, but they also have a great selection from FireCraft for those in the hobby of grilling and smoking their proteins. I have been doing business with Quadratec for over 10-​years and when I do have a bad experience I call them, and the situation gets sorted very quickly. For those that have a bad experience CALL THEM, and you will be compensated but you NEED TO INTERACT with a human.

Terrible customer experience for an online retailer.
I ordered a cargo mat and rear floor mat for my ’13 2 door JK. Everything seemed to be in stock and the right fit for my vehicle. After a couple weeks without an update on my items shipping I called (and waited 10 mins to get a hold of someone) who told me that the parts were being manufactured and would be another 3 – 4 weeks prior to them being ready. If I would’ve known that I never would’ve bought them in the first place, but I went ahead and waited for the order.
My items finally arrived about when they’d said they would, but they shipped me items for an Unlimited– not my two door. I called (again waited on hold 10 mins) and requested return labels for the two boxes to ship them back for a refund. They sent me only one return label, and now I’m going to have to call again… and wait 10 mins… again…to get another label. Im sure most Jeep owners are loyal like me, and would rather spend our money with a Jeep-​oriented company like Quadratec over an Amazon. I honestly will not be able to purchase anything else from them again after this 1^st experience and would strongly caution anyone else from doing so.

I’ve ordered from quadratec several times, nothing too fancy more maintenance and replacement parts and true upgrades. Quadratec has a huge inventory as other people have noted in reviews, but there are many companies on the web that serve the 4×4/jeep segment. Since I live relatively close to their officeI do try to spend my money locally. Every time I place an order or have a question about a product through their website or submit feedback I find myself stunned at how poor the customer services. The only thing more stunning is why I continue to shop there. It’s not a mistake I’ll be making in the future since many companies that what they do and actually appreciate your business. I’m not sure how they expect to differentiate themselves from everyone else but poor customer service is not the answer

Sure they have a website with plenty of jeep parts, with lots of eye candy to look at and buy, prices are decent. But their shipping SUCKS! *DO NOT USE* their FedEx Smart Post service it takes Triple the time to deliver vs USPS Priority, I blame QUADRATEC for not doing their research and realizing that the price they charge for FedEx SmartPost they can charge for USPS Priority and make their customers more happy with faster shipping. Shame Shame!

They have lots of parts, and hard to find items which is nice. But there services, and customer service just flat out stinks. Their rude, don’t do what they say they will and don’t tell you unless you ask if something you ordered is on back stock. Be careful what you order from here.

Sure Quadratec has hard to find and nifty parts for your Jeep, but the actual customer service at the company is the pits! I have tried to make my orders straightforward and simple, but they always screw it up! I live close enough to pick up from their warehouse, but no one ever calls to tell me when my items arrive or if they’re back-​ordered etc. It is beyond frustrating.
The product is good. The customer service leaves WAY too much to be desired! I will get things elsewhere when I can.

I have been buying Jeep parts for the last 45 years and I have bought from all the major players. Quadratec is hands down one of the best companies I have dealt with. They don’t outsource their customer support to some other country. You talk to knowledgeable sales and customer support people that know their product and can help you buy the product you need. They have one of the best return policies you will find. They also go out of their way to supply us with good quality parts.
I give Quadratec my highest rating.

I ordered leaf springs and bushings from quadratec. My order confirmation email did not say any of my parts were out of stock and (after a week) I did not receive any emails stating that any of my parts were being shipped from the manufacturer.
I called Quadratec and was informed my parts were on back order. When I asked why I was not informed of this, I received a snarky reply and a noticeably insincere «Sorry», so I canceled my order. I give two stars instead of one because at least they never charged my card for the parts. I will not be ordering from them again.

Sorry, Quadratec, but I gotta drop it down a star.
There’s no reason it should take eight weeks to receive a replacement part that’s under warranty.
I was originally told it would be a few weeks because the part was out of stock at Quadratec and at the manufacturer. Understandable; it happens from time to time.
Unfortunately, it didn’t end there. I had to call Quadratec because I never received stock updates or tracking information, even though I was told that I should keep an eye on the website for that information. Each time I called Quadratec for an update on my hardware, I heard a new story.
During my last call to Quadratec, I was told the part shipped and I should receive it in days. A week passed, and I had no part.
I was fed up, so I called the manufacturer directly. Surprise of surprises, they told me they’d never received a request for the part from Quadratec. The rep at the manufacturer immediately filled out my parts request and had the hardware and a few extra parts to me two days later.
Coupled with the front bumper complaint I had in my original review, I’m stuck second-​guessing Quadratec when I’m thinking about ordering a new part.

This place is one of a kind. They pretty much have any item that you could possibly want for your Jeep vehicle. They don’t always have the best prices but they price match. If they don’t have the item available then shipping is usually free. That has been the case at least twice for me. Their shipping prices are a tad high though… but I live in Philadelphia so I usually just drive the 30 minutes and pick up.
Great customer service whenever you have a question. I highly recommend them.

Huge inventory of 4×4 stuff; clear product descriptions; easy to do business; good prices; reasonable shipping costs; responsive phone service. Winning!
If that’s not enough, I’ve needed help or guidance from both service and sales, and they’ve been quick to answer and resolve my every question, no matter how dumb I sound. Excuse me, how «novice» I sound. Very friendly people, and very helpful.
Recommend using them online, but they also have a nice printed catalog they’ll mail to you… which is easier to drool on when looking at all the nice products!
