Chada Thai

Wow! Excellent Thai food in West Chicago. Meals are prepared with fresh ingredients, cooked correctly (crunchy veggies & tender proteins), are plated beautifully and taste terrific. Since I’m not a huge fan of spicy food, I’m glad that they offer a sliding scale of spiciness. I love the staff who are warm and welcoming and are happy to answer questions. They are obviously very proud of their food and their culture. They make me want to hop on a plane and visit their country. What wonderful ambassadors of Thai cuisine and culture. I hope they stay here for many years. Since it’s so hidden away, I make it a point to tell all my friends and family about them!

I have called here two days in a row and they never pick up I want this to be my spot I love Thai food and have it at least once a week but they don’t pick up so I don’t l know if they are even around

This place is awesome.
This is as good as take out Thai gets. I eat here probably three times a week. My biggest worry is that they are so hidden that they won’t make it and I won’t be able to get it anymore. I have introduced three families to this and numerous coworkers. They all love it.
When you walk in you are greeted with smiles and broken english. I eat here so often that I think that the owners and I have our own language. They’re always friendly. Their are only two tables to eat at so room is kinda at a premium. Lunch specials are a value and if you have a hearty appetite for 2 dollars more you can get a full dinner portion.
The food is super fresh. The celery like in most Thai food is wilted, not here. It has a crunch to it so does the rest of the vegetables. They don’t try to burn you down with the heat either. The meat is always plentiful and never over done. The food is awesome.
Do yourself a favor: If you like Thai food, give this place a try. I know you’ll like it.

This place is by far the best Thai food in the west suburbs. We’ve eaten here multiple times getting the pad Thai, curry and fried rice dishes and they never disappoint. I just hope they put a more visible sign on rte 59 and fix their search engine criteria to get picked up for Thai food… I don’t want them to go out of business.

Close to home, reasonably priced and quite yummy. Cant go wrong here. =)

I ordered the Lunch Special ground chicken basil leaves with 5 spicy (level 1 – 5) *ask them for the spicy if you like too. WOW!!! it was so! freaking good and very spicy, authentic-​fresh. Just the way I like it. Highly recommended this place, and Yes, it’s hidden but, it’s BEHIND THE EGG YOLK which is find see it. Before, I left I saw on the board has The dessert sweet sticky rice with mango and I should got it. Look it up when you there, they’re always has the special. Next time, I’ll order it for sure.

I have never had Thai food before but I decided to give it a go since I live near by. I got the pad Thai with chicken and some chicken pot stickers and dude they tasted amazing.
Taste: Very tasty. Chicken was well cooked. Great sauce. Veggies very fresh. High quality stuff. Pot stickers and sauce were great.
Presentation: looked like picture on menu. Looked very appetizing. (Had it it to go)
Service: Very nice. Women attended me. I asked a few questions. She was very helpful and polite. Will go again.
Price: kinda on the high side but you know it’s worth it. I rather spend 8 dollars here than a big Mac meal or whopper meal any day.
I don’t see that many people go here maybe because its hidden behind egg yolk café but I reccomend trying it. I don’t want this to close. Tell all your friends. You won’t regret it

One of the best Thai restaurants in DuPage County. Spent 14 months in Thailand between Bangkok and Sattahip and this place is close to being back there. Food is delicious and hot! Only 2 tables, more set up for take out. I’ve done both eat in and take out and have yet to be disappointed. You’ll love it too!

While searching for a place to get good food quickly in my neighborhood, I discovered this place which is, admittedly, not easy to spot but actually right off Rt. 59, behind Egg Yolk. It is everything I hoped it would be.
The menu is thorough, the food is excellent, the portions are huge, and the staff is great. We always order to-​go, but there is a small dining area for those who wish to dine in. Some of my family members have special diet considerations and the staff at Chada Thai have been extremely patient and accommodating, working hard to piece together dishes that meet all the specifications, and they’ve succeeded. It’s also kid-​friendly; my 2 and 6 year-​old devour the Crab Rangoons, Egg Rolls, and Thai Fried Rice, which is portioned in such a way that one order satisfies both my children.
Just a warning: the food is Thai, so a lot of it is spicy by nature, which is why they offer levels of on their spicy dishes. I like spicy food, and Spice Level 1 is the right level for me at Chada Thai. If you don’t tolerate spiciness very much, be sure to order level 0!

This place is good. My wife and I ordered Beef Pad Thai, Beef Thai Fried Rice and Chicken Pot stickers. We called it in and it was ready when they said it was going to be. I went to pay and the lady stated they had a special that when you order 2 entrees you get a free crab rangoon and they already put it in the bag for me.
So before I ever tasted the food for the first time I had a great impression of this place. Took the food home and sure enough free crab Rangoon’s. Personally I hate them buy my wife loves em.
The pot stickers were perfect. My wife loved the crab Rangoon’s. We both loved the Pad Thai. It was seasoned great and tasted very yummy. I loved the Beef Thai Fried Rice, my wife didn’t care for the seasoning on the rice, which says a lot because she always orders Thai Fried Rice at Thai places.
All in all, we both loved the place and will be back. I recommend this Thai place to anyone in Dupage County. There are a few but this place is great. Its off the beaten path but if you know your way around West Chicago you won’t have problems finding it.

Always come back to this place for authentic Thai food. The place is clean. Even it is a to go, you can also dine here.

Very good Thai food for being outside of Chicago, definitely going to try more items from the menu but the pad Thai and pot stickers were delicious. A little hard to find in the back strip mall near egg yolk café but definitely worth it!

I’ve been on a quest to find authentic Thai in the West Suburbs. While there are plenty of Thai restaurants around, they all seem to offer the same cookie cutter menu and never deliver on flavor. When Chada opened up in my neighborhood, I was excited to see what they had to offer. Perusing their menu, I was pleasantly surprised to see many non-​standard dishes and authentic ingredients.
My family has eaten here twice, and we’ve been very impressed. It is definitely the best Thai I’ve had since leaving the city. I haven’t been in to pick up our food, but my husband has had only good things to say about the service. This is our new go-​to spot for carry out, and we’re looking forward to exploring the menu. I’m hoping they do well… I’ll be devastated if they shut down!
