Helen (the mom) did my facial and it was fantastic! Being my first facial, I didn’t really know what to expect, but I knew I needed the microdermabrasion and extractions. The extractions hurt, but I expected that. She really took her time and I left with a fresh, clean face. I can’t wait to go back in a month or so.

Helen is amazing! I always look forward to having my appt with her. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has done wonders for my skin. She has been doing microdermabrasion on my skin and I can definately see the results. I wont go to any other place.

Aura is in an interesting location. I have passed by this center for years since its been open and never noticed it. I found this place through Unilocal when looking for a last minute facial on a Friday afternoon. They were able to fit me in for a same day facial with Helen. Helen is absolutely amazing. I have had bad experiences with facials and other estheticians in the past and was quite frankly turned off by facials overall until my skin started to give me issues. Helen will know exactly what your skin needs and I could not be happier to have found her! Also, the products she uses and sells are so good and are all cruelty free which is such an added plus. Go to Aura Day Spa for a facial and you will not be disappointed.

What a great place tucked away in West Covina! It’s like a gem that you should try if you need an amazing facial. I’ve been coming here since its first location and am never disappointed!
Helen the esthetician is such a professional, understanding, skillful and works with me every couple of months to refresh my skin. When I walk out I’m always glowing for a week! Currently we’re working on anti-​aging to repair years of sun damage on my neck. I can’t wait to see even more results. The price is good for what you get. She’s a pro and the store is super clean and nice. You’d pay 2x as much on the west side! Oh yea the products are amazing as well. They aren’t cheap but they are very natural. This spa used mostly organic type products on the facials. (I’m not sure about the hair & nail products). If you’re unsure just ask, they know their stuff. Happy facials!

I just recently came to the spa for a facial for the first time before my wedding and I was so pleased with Helen she is very professional and made my skin look great I now feel confident for my wedding day also she has a great sense of humor and it was a fun relaxing visit definitely have been recommending her for anyone that needs a good facial

This is the most wonderful place I have ever been — Helen gives the most wonderful facial I have ever had and I will never go anywhere else and I highly recommend this to everyone and I will go there permanently.

I went in today for the first time for a facial, and I absolutely loved it! Helen was super sweet and very knowledgeable. The whole place is very clean and the facial room is your escape to another world. I walked out feeling happy and clean. I will definitely be coming back!

I had been looking for a place to get a facial as the person I was going to closed her shop. I bookmarked Aura based on their Unilocal reviews and finally decided to make an appointment, I’m really glad I did!
Right away I could tell I would be coming to see Helen on a regular basis. Helen is knowledgeable, took the time to ask questions about my skin & my goals, and tailored the facial based on my responses. All the products she used had a good clean smell! By the time I left my face had a nice glow to it and she sent me home with some samples.
They are by appointment, and do accept debit card.

I found this place a few years ago when it was located on Hollenbeck Avenue. I have one word, well a few, for Helen, but the most important is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
Helen is THE most wonderful lady I have ever met, and the service she provides is more than excellent. Is there something more than that?
I don’t have the opportunity to go there as often as I would like, but whenever I call or text Helen for an appointment, she never fails me. ME time with Helen is the best, she certainly knows how to pamper you, helps you relax, all the while cleaning those stubborn pores and what nots on your skin to leave you with a great clean, and bright feeling and look on your face.
Both Helen and her daughter are very knowledgeable on all beauty stuff, and the rest of the staff is also great. I’ve also gotten a couple of the best pedicures there.

Received a facial from Helen and she was very sweet and professional. Got the service done for my wedding day. She was gental and at the same time made sure she got rid of all the gunk of my face. Felt like a new woman when I walked out of there!

I am a first time customer and I have to say, I WAS IMPRESSED. I absolutely love the fact that they are so knowledgeable and use organic products as much as possible.
My History: I have had acne since I was 8. Now I am 20 with an oily skin. I have been to multiple Estheticians and dermatologists. I have tried everything ranging from antibiotics, topicals, injections, multi-​varied facials, chemical peels AND laser surgeries. For the past 6 months, I have clear skin, but since temperatures have risen, my acne came back.
Treatment: I had the Aura Acne Facial. Usually after a typical acne facial, my face feels clean, but painful and dry (even with hydrating products) after extractions. With Helen, my felt truly clean and refreshed. My face did not feel sore from the extractions. One of the products Helen applied was coconut oil and I could NOT stop smelling my face!
Professionalism: There are two Helens, but they are both mother and daughter who owns the business. I did my facial with the daughter. Helen knows what she is doing and what she is talking about. Not only that, she gives good aura, kind and is very friendly. She is tough when it comes to extractions, but she effectively knows how to clean my face.
Location: You would have to look closely. I used my iPhone’s map app to locate it, but you would have to look closely because it is in the middle of a shopping area.
Spa and Salon Ambience: In the main room, the room is bright lit because of the sunlight, but the setup is beautiful. The bathroom is VERY clean. I am absolutely in LOVE with the facial rooms. I absolutely love the dim-​lit and calming music. I was very well-​impressed of the décor, structure and ambience of the business. I felt very comfortable and at ease.
Overall Experience: I love it and will definitely be coming back! :)

I’ve been coming to Helen regularly for almost a year and a half now and I cannot be more pleased with my skin.
Helen is amazing and flexible if you need to reschedule. She will try to accommodate your needs as best as possible so you can leave happy and confident. I am almost positive she is one of the reasons my confidence has grown over the past year, I used to be self conscious about my skin and having acne scars/​break outs especially since I barely wear make up. Nowadays I NEVER wear make up and if I do it’s super light because Helen has improved my skin DRASTICALLY. I always get compliments on how clear it is and even my friends that have known me since my high school/​middle school days comment on how clear it has gotten.
I also use all the products Helen recommends for my skin and I think that is also a huge reason why my skin has improved. She is knowledgable about the profits she carries and she makes sure she gets HIGH QUALITY products.
I guarantee you won’t be disappointed after visiting Helen.

Rome wasn’t built in a day and my skin didn’t completely improve with just one facial but I definitely noticed a glorious glow and my skin felt cleaner…(:
Also, it will really help if you have a religious facial cleaning/​moisturizing cycle meaning night and day.
It’s like going to the gym and working out, you will only see results if you go religiously and do your part at home by having a HEALTHY balanced diet.
