Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in West Covina opened April 12, 2011– Located at 3211 East Garvey Avenue North-​Located 18 miles from the Ontario International Airport and 19 miles from downtown Los Angeles, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Los Angeles West Covina offers guests convenient access to Big League Dreams Sports Park, Disneyland/​California Adventure, Knott’s Berry Farm, the Pomona Fairgrounds and Cal Poly Pomona.

My best Marriott stay in years. My welcome was above par, as I was greeted at the front desk as the «guest of the day.» Free upgrade to a suite, and free welcome gift of goodies in a bag. Very cool.
Overall, it’s a clean hotel, with what you can expect from a Marriott. Good service, clean spacious rooms, and all the amenities. Weight room, pool, jacuzzi, free WiFi, breakfast, cable, etc. And literally surrounded by dozens and dozens of amazing food options. They even set me and my business partner up in the conference room so we could get some work done while they cleaned the carpets in the lobby.
I’m a Marriott fan. Always have been. Probably always will be.

Orange County, CA
Front desk denied my friend to check in when other guests were able to check in. I ended up checking in for us instead of our friend who reserved the room, and not to our surprise, the front desk lady let us (thinking I am my friend). We didn’t understand where the hatred and discrimination came from, but that is absolutely unacceptable… We are paying the same amount as any other guests, I am very confused why she would not let my friend – who did nothing but wait in the lobby – check in.
Oh, but I’m not done…
The toilet then breaks in our «suite.» We were there for 1 night only and they sent someone to fix it but guess what? Not fixed… So w/​o a toilet, we had to ride the elevator downstairs and back up every time we had to use toilet. The only good side to this was I made some pretty cool friends during one elevator trip: drunk grown ass adults in Halloween costumes that unfortunately had to stay at this poophole as well for their company party.
There was no apology for the inconvenience and no offers made to make up for it. We had to go to front desk and ask for later check-​out to make up for time lost due to broken toilet.
We stayed here for a music festival at the Pomona Fairplex. Will be going back to music festival, but will not be staying here!!!

Stayed here for one night for business. Good service, nice ambience. They provide a full blown breakfast with bacon, eggs, oatmeal, muffins, toast, a waffle station, fruits, milk and 3 different juices. The hotel is small but it’s good for a short stay. You get a 15% discount at the local participating restaurants if you mention you’re staying here. Called the morning of check in and was able to secure a playpin/​crib for my baby.

My wife and I stayed at Fairfield for 4 nights. From the booking of the room, appearance of the hotel, staff friendliness, quality breakfast buffet, and hot coffee availability, Fairfield was exceptional in every category. The building appears to be fairly new with updated furnishings. The room and bathroom were very clean. And I’m very picky when it comes to hotels. It has to be newer, updated, clean and inviting. Fairfield Inn & Suites exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Fairfield Inn & Suites of West Covina, CA!

We used this hotel when we visited my SoCal family mid-​December. We’ve stayed here before in Sept 2012, but didn’t write a review back then. We had a pleasant stay then, that’s why we stayed here again.
It is very convenient and within walking distance of a lot of shops and eateries and close to freeway (I-​10). This hotel can accommodate my family of five (2 adults and 3 kids). My kids love the make-​your-​own waffles for breakfast. It’s free parking, free wifi, free breakfast. There’s a microwave and mini fridge in the rooms. The beds and rooms are clean and the pillows are super comfortable. I love that there are 2 TVs (one for kids and one for adults.) The only downside to this hotel was the pull out sofa bed. My daughter and son played rock-​paper-​scissors to see who would get stuck with the sofa bed. My daughter lost and she said the sofa bed was uncomfortable. She said she tossed and turned all night cause of it. She could feel the bed springs.
Since I don’t have to sleep on the sofa bed, I still would stay at this hotel in the future.

Southwest, Las Vegas, NV
Lobby was nice and inviting. Staff was friendly and courteous (Ken even called after we got to our room to made sure everything was ok), friendly staff! There’s always free coffee by the lobby. Comfy beds and pillows. Bathroom was nice and clean (don’t see any molds, hair or dust) thanks to Lupe (housekeeping) for doing a job well done. Lots of good cable channel to watch. Fridge and microwave was a plus (was hesitant at first to book this because Expedia did not mention that this hotel have these!) we were surprised to see that we have it in our room. There was enough parking. Never had a problem looking for a spot. There was a pool and jacuzzi, but we did not use it. Breakfast was good, sausage, hard and scrambled egg, waffles etc. We did not encounter any problem in this hotel, and would definitely come back next time.

Older hotel that has had updates to the lobby. Service was great. Front desk and breakfast crew were friendly and efficient. Convenient location to Mt SAC. Rooms are pretty dated but for a short stay they worked well.

Las Vegas, NV
Even though I make a little fun of some of their décor this is really a great place to stay. We have been here a couple of times along with a travel softball team, and we could not have had better service. This seems to be a favorite place to stay for many different youth sports teams, but the noise level is never elevated, and guests are always well behaved. The staff is unfailingly helpful, welcoming, and friendly. The rooms are always clean, comfortable, and the room arrangement is very useful for the size.
The breakfast buffet is very well done, with a good selection, and everything prepared very nicely. You could not ask for a better place to stay that is very convenient and always presents the same high standards.

Another great stay at the Farfield and easy on our budgets with the APU parent discount! Now that I have a second child in another college where hotels are $ 2−300/nt (ridiculous! even Motel 6 is $ 150) I appreciate the Fairfield even more. It’s familiar (our daughter is a junior now), it’s beautiful, it’s comfortable, spacious, safe, the staff is extremely friendly, the breakfast is perfect for our needs. Did I already say I love the discount? I do! Thank you, Fairfield, you’re my favorite.

I stayed at this hotel the night before my wedding in a suite with a small living room.
The room itself was very clean and nicely decorated. My only complaint is that it was a little bit smaller than I had expected. The couch in the photos was really a love seat. Otherwise everything was good.
I took advantage of the breakfast offered in the morning. Not many frills there but it was pretty good. The service here is also pretty good.
4 stars overall. I wouldn’t mind staying here again.

Just arrived. On Tues we booked the room, indicating there are 2 adults and 1 child. At that time we requested a rollaway bed. Get here and they’re out of rollaway beds! Also, the bed is complete mush! Super extreme soft, like a child’s bed. It’s going to be murder on my back disability! So disgusted with this place!

Well we started out being charged TWICE for the same room within 2 minutes of checking in. Then we get to the room and the bed and pillows have this mildewy, copper scent that was bugging us so much we couldn’t sleep so called and asked if we could switch rooms. The front desk lady didn’t apologize for the inconvenience and didn’t even seem surprised. Anyway the second room had the SAME problem. Right at the head rest by the bed it smelled. So we were bummed out but didn’t want to complain again so we spent the night without pillows cause they stunk and sleeping the opposite way to avoid the horrid stink.
They compensated us by giving us free candy however somehow that didn’t really compensate for the lack of apathy from the staff for the smelly beds. I would have paid an extra 70 bucks more and went to holiday inn :(

My husband and I stayed here for one night to celebrate my birthday. The bed was comfortable as always with Marriott’s (feels like you’re sleeping on clouds) and the room was clean. The jacuzzi was perfect in temperature with jets that would give you a nice back massage and a hot breakfast was included, which is always nice to have! Parking is free and you’re pretty much near many stores and the freeway (didn’t have any noise issues). The only issue I had was that around 1am there were teens coming in and out of their room, making a lot of noise that ended up waking me. I later found out there was a cross country competition in the area so that explained why there were so many teens staying at the time. Other than that, the stay was overall good. We were also able to get 10% off our stay through a special on Unilocal

We stayed here with a large wedding group in September and returned last night. both stays were perfect. The staff is exceptional. Clean, comfortable rooms and very good breakfast included. I mentioned to the staff that it was our wedding anniversary. They picked out a nice room and added some very thoughtful gifts. Sara at the desk was very welcoming and helpful. Thanks for a great stay.

Great service and clean room, My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding day. Sarah the supervisor was awesome and was able to give us a ride a couple miles down from the hotel, free of charge. The breakfast was yummy and hot. Would definitely stay here again:)

Stayed overnight visiting my parents on Christmas. The hotel was easy to find, right off the freeway, but without the freeway noise.
Lobby was clean and nicely decorated. Check-​in and check-​out was quick and easy. Front desk staff was friendly. We came home late and I liked that you had to swipe your room key to access the hotel from the outside.
Room was nice. Furniture seemed newer with a modern style. Bed was comfortable. Temp was easy to control.
Woke up too late to get breakfast, but they always have coffee and water in the lobby, which was nice. Would stay there again.

I like marriots and this one was nicely located next to a shopping center and a LA fitness. nice little hotel, very courteous people, free breakfast and wifi. gym is REALLY small and quite frankly not really a gym with 3 pieces of equipment and a outdoor pool that is like the size of a sauna. no worries with the LA fitness next door though.

I’m with all of the other positive reviewers on this one — let’s set good expectations.
It’s in West Covina between an Ikea and the 10 freeway. It’s been free every time we’ve stayed because it’s a lower category with our Marriott Rewards Points. Is it luxury? Probably not. But for somewhere between $ 0 and $ 100, it’s completely worth it for a good night of sleep.
The bed was great, the hotel lobby was clean, the front desk agent was really nice and friendly. He even gave us snacks and water bottles. The breakfast in the morning was really good. The hum of the air conditioner drowned out all of the other noise, so I have nothing to complain about. I subtracted 1 star because our bathroom wasn’t spotless when we checked in, but it was easy to look over.
4 stars for the awesome value & convenience factor. We will definitely stay again.
