Lids

I walked into lids in West Covina for an exchange. I knew it was going to be busy cause it was right after the holidays. Roslin the manager took at least 15 min with a customer (customer showing pictures on her cell phone) while the rest of us waited to pay for our items. She was the only cashier. Totally unprofesional. I have no idea why I gave it one star.

Good store if you love buying hats. They have a lids club card you can buy that gets you a discount on your upcoming purchases. Enjoy this store because they have Broncos hats when most other stores do not. Also the staff is nice and always willing to help.
If you are looking to buy a hat check out the store. It’s right across from Vans.

Worse service ever with two associates and they where on their cellphones every question we had not once did they look up. We wher in the store for 10min look for sizes etc and they continued to ignore us even started a convo with each other

Ughh so I took my girlfriend here yesterday to pick out some hats for Christmas and that is the only reason I even continued with my purchase because it was the worst experience I have ever had at any lids first of all they were rude not very helpful at all, then I seen the sign about the rewards card of course none of the associates offered this info and the guy I asked was like oh yeah we have that I was like okkk! Really! I just told myself I’ll ask the cashier so I finally get to the register and asked him and again he was like yeah we have that I was just irritated at this point so I said yes I know I would like to purchase it so he said oh ok never explaining how it works but I know my gf loves her hats and other lids locations so I knew she wanted this card! Needles to say I will not be returning to this location even though it is local! Ohh yeah I almost forgot about the annoying associate singing and repeating everything the cashier and customers were saying he thought it was funny for some reason!

Took my son today to buy a Dodger hat and we had the worst service. Laurence was so rude and gave so much attitude. I will never go and buy from that Lids location again.

not a big fan of hats but i was looking for specific hat for a while and could not find it until i called this store they where able to hold it for me the staff was very helpful and friendly

So I saw that they had a BOGO 50% off on 1÷10÷13 so I placed an order online for 2 items that qualified for the promo. Shipping was on the high side, so I opted for the «ship to store» option which was free, but took a couple days longer (which makes zero sense to me, you’d think the store would be getting weekly inventory). So today 1÷23÷13 I still havent heard anything via email or telephone. My understanding is that the store will call me once the item have arrive. So I call the 800 customer service to see what the status of my order was.
Apparently the items arrived at the store on 1÷21÷13 — two days ago. Checked my caller ID — no calls from Lids. Checked my spam folder — no emails from Lids. So I print my receipt and drive to the store. Theres only 1 employee working (5pm) and theres 3 customers there before me. Wait… wait…wait. «Hi Im here to pick up my items.» «Oh yeah I saw that order the other day». I asked her why I didn’t get notified — and she said the stores phone doesn’t work, and hasn’t worked in months. And the employees are told to use their cell phones to call the customers.
Just a horrible experience all around. Not blaming the employee for being understaffed or the phone not working. Or not wanting to use a personal cell for business calls. Thats just management being cheap and trying to save a buck.

Pretty small store but very helpful staff. Lots of LA fan gear. But I’m an Eastern Conference fan. There’s a huge double sized kiosk in this mall that actually has twice as many options and better variety.

Went in here this last weekend to pick up two hats that we had shipped there from our online order. Free shipping to the store vs having to pay for shipping to get it delivered to our home… shoot! I’ll take the free shipping. We had our ordered process fast and we did receive the phone call from one of the representatives at Lids, at this particular store to inform us that our hats were there. First impression was a bit off but once the guy helped us out, he was pretty cool and really easy going. Really chill and helpful and even said it was «cute» that we had matching hats. He wasn’t so sure what signatures were needed but I am glad he asked his coworker to help him out so that way it was done correctly and we wouldn’t have to come back later to sign again. Too bad I do not purchase hats very often, this place seems like a really easy going place to shop at.
