History
Established in 1958.
The business was started by L.D. (Peanut) Ashmore in 1958 at Covina, California. A brother, Jim Ashmore, joined the business in 1970 and purchased it from L. D in 1977. Jim and Genene Ashmore are the current owners. The business became a part of the United Stores Buying Group in 1971 and continues to be a member today. The buying group gives us the combined buying power of over 3000 stores across America. We are known for our customer satisfaction and our competitive prices.
