The Camp Transformation Center West Covina

I’ve tried tons of ways to try to lose weight, but none have really worked as successfully as this one has. What makes this one successful is 1) the possibility of earning back the money you put down (although everything The Camp has given me would cost much more anywhere else) 2) the variety of workouts have kept things from going boring 3) the amazing community here to back you up in your journey. Admittedly, I took a big risk in signing up for The Camp these past 6 weeks given how demanding my schedule is, but I haven’t regretted it. I’ve lost 29.6 lbs and will be starting Round 2 tomorrow!

I’m a work in progress! Regardless The Camp Transformation Center in West Covina is all it is SUPPOSED TO BE. Prepare to be transformed. I trusted the process. gave 100% in each workout and Followed the Damn Instructions… and I saw positive results both ON THE SCALE & OFF!

The camp will help you loose weight and gain strength… If you do not mind loosing $ 500 in the process. There advertisement says that if you loose 20 pounds in a 6 weeks its free, but what they fail to add is that you must continue to do challenges (and loose 20 pounds each 6 weeks) till you reach your BMI weight. So if you plan on loosing 100 pounds, plan on doing 5 challenges back to back. Now the likelihood that you will be successful every challenge is low, you have to eat every 2.5 hours and only eat an extremely limited amount of food. I must say thought, that food shopping is so easy when you only have to remember to buy 5 items over and over. And they also encourage you to buy their protein powder and supplement that add a $ 250.00 to every 6 weeks. If you really need the money back, i do not recommended. If you see it as an investment and as a tool to move you towards your weight goal, then it works. I personally would not have joined if i knew all the cost involved and the stress that it has put on me. I am now doing a second challenge in the hopes to achieve another 20 pounds to get my reimbursement. I have learned to eat better, more often, and get used to working out, so i have gotten something from my time at the camp. Also, please ask questions. The contract does not give you a way out if you injure yourself during those 6 weeks, or get pregnant, or a big life change, or anything. If you cannot complete the rules they set, you loose your $ 500. I have given my review 3 stars because over all this is a business. And a business would not be successful without profit. My only concern is that they do not explain everything well at the orientation. Lastly, their motto at West Covina is Ohana which means family, but as they are getting bigger and more challengers they are loosing their Ohana. They don’t seem to have too much time to dedicate to you. If you decide you like it and want to continue as a member it will cost you $ 125.00 a month. Is it worth it? Maybe, that is up to you. The Camp Transformation Center in West Covina is amazing. I’m glad that I joined this camp. I needed to lose about 20 lbs and the camp helped me get there in 6 weeks. I lost 25 lbs at the end of my challenge and all this couldn’t be possible if it wasn’t for the Trainers. I enjoyed every Class especially Friday nights with our Director JD. The staff was always friendly and the trainers are there for support and making sure you have proper form. I would definitely recommend anyone to do the challenge and to do it at the West Covina location. This journey was amazing and it has taught me how to eat health and to push my limits. The camp gives you all the tools to succeed in the challenge, but don’t get me wrong you have to put your own effort to lose the weight. Just remember Follow The Damn Instructions. #Ohana

Just finished Round #2 at The Camp Transformation Center and lost an additional 25lbs! If you’re looking to change your life then this is the place to go! As I mentioned in my previous review, all you need to do is follow the damn instructions and you will be successful. The trainers and staff are extremely supportive and helpful in all ways. The best part of all this is that you’re not alone. You’re surrounded by people who are constantly pushing you and encouraging you. Everyone becomes family here at West Covina! This is still the best decision I ever made and I’m ready for Round #3!

The first time I heard anything about the camp was while looking thru my Facebook feed that I would just swipe thru. I had gotten to a point where I had lost my motivation and started to regain what I had worked so hard to loose and the work that I had done over the last year was lost. I finally decided to stop scrolling and see what the camp was about.
Going in to my orientation I was already thinking it’s going to be like every other place and just take my money. As soon as Jd started talking I knew this was different. He was very upfront and said nothing but the truth. He was super motivating and I signed up on the spot. We received our bibles where you get all your instructions to successfully complete the challenge from your very specific diet to how many work outs you do.
Arriving to my first workout a little nervous but just walking in your welcomed by the friendly staff. The support you get from the camp is amazing!!! The staff and trainers are amazing always pushing you to achieve the best!!! Any question there’s always someone there to answer.
I successfully completed my first challenge and can’t wait to begin my next one. The transformation camp is the best thing that I have done. Can’t thank Jd and the entire staff at the transformation camp West Covina enough for helping me get back on track and working on me! I finally understand what is meant when they say that this is a lifestyle change.

When I sat for orientation my thoughts were I need to change and do something about my weight because doing it on my own was not working. So I was all in for the 6 weeks challenge and willing to invest my money and time for me this time. I knew I was going to miss out time with my daughter but I know in the long run I will be there for her as she grows older. I want to be that fit mom, see her go through her journey as long as I can and be able to anything with her. Now achieving my goal of losing 23 pounds exactly was an amazing feeling!
Thanks to the support and positive energy from the trainers, staff, Facebook group and fellow challengers. The trainers always have something new for the workouts and I end up amazed and love it! I’m so ready for #2 challenge!

Tires, sleds, ropes, and sledgehammers… oh my! Those are just a few examples of the equipment that The Camp offers. My experience at The Camp was definitely a learning one. The most memorable were the CrossFit exercises. Never in my life did I think I would be able to do deadlifts, tire flips, sled pushes, etc., but with the help of the trainers, I was able to accomplish this. They were more than helpful to teach me. Being a person who does not excel in strength training, I was quite nervous and doubtful that I would not be able to keep up with the classes. However, the trainers (along with fellow camp members) are always pushing you throughout the workout making sure you don’t quit. I always felt very welcomed in the classes and the motivational speeches that the trainers gave kept me trucking throughout the 6 week challenge.

I had a great experience with The Camp Transformation Center West Covina. I found out about it through a coworker and knew it was the real deal because I saw her awesome results. I am extremely happy that I decided to give it a try because it has truly changed my lifestyle habits for the better. I feel great and have more energy than before. Following the program as directed without cheating, I was able to drop 22.1 pounds in 6 weeks! It was NOT easy but so worth it. The classes are challenging but doable and the trainers really motivate and keep you going every step of the way. Thanks JD and staff for pushing everyone to their full potential!

I first learned about the camp through my friend who’s doing the hard body challenge at the Chino location. In my past, I’ve done a lot of exercises, even crossfit. But one thing I’ve always had trouble with was my diet. I heard about the strict diet from my friend and chew on the thought of whether or not if I can do the challenge… and eventually decided to do it wholeheartedly. The decision of joining this camp turns out to be a great one!
We all received a diet guideline and rules during our orientation, the camp calls it «the bible», and we were instructed to follow it 100%. We’re also required to workout at least 30x by the end of 6^th week. The exercises will be either upper body, lower body, or full body. The kind of exercises that we do is considered as high intensity interval training… quite effective for losing fat.
The atmosphere of the camp, the people that join with you for the challenge, the staffs and the trainers… they’re all helpful. Each trainer has his or her style of training, but one thing for sure; they all want you to succeed (at least this was the vibe that I got).
I’ve lost 28.9 lbs by the end of the challenge. It took a lot of sweat, soreness, and mental toughness to resists all the temptations that are out there. However, coming to this camp has definitely helped me taking one giant step towards my goal (I’m not at my ideal physique yet, but closer)!
My review is more of 4.8÷5.0, just some small complaints: I think the cardio machines, especially the bike, probably can use some upgrade (seats are really had to adjust); I wished there were 7pm, 8 pm, and 9 pm classes on Wednesday and Fridays; sometimes, there were too many people in one class.
I think if you follow «the bible» 100% and try to push yourself every time you go work out… I believe you should lose those 20lbs by the end of the 6 week challenge. The last but not the least, I want to thank all the trainers and the staffs at West Covina TC: Yasmin, Mitch, Alicia, Bam Bam, JD, Cynthia, Jollene, Sal, and more. Thank you for pushing us.

Today is my final weight in! I lose 24.5 lbs in 6 weeks… I had always been the heaviest one in my family which I hated it! So I tried some many different kind of diet… nothing worked… but this work! The camp is so amazing the support they gave… the work out and the diet!!! I wouldn’t say it is easy but at the end it’s all worth it!!! Stay strong and u will find how strong and different you will become at the end!!! LOVE THE CAMP! best decision I had ever made in my life!!!

My journey was a success! The first thing that I did when I heard about the camp transformation center is look for reviews online! Of course the was a bad review somewhere, but it was overshadowed by thousands of good reviews. I simply had to try it out for myself! I can’t believe how efficient this workout is! I have been in and out of gyms my whole life, but was always missing accountability, hard work, and extreme dedication. The camp simply changed my life. I feel healthy, I look healthy, and I have a great time doing it.
On top of the great workouts you get something that you will never find anywhere else… SUPPORT! Support for the amazing staff, support for the amazing members, and support from the amazing challengers. You build a family! A family that goes through the same journey!
So…here is my review… if you need a kick in the ass, if you need to change your lifestyle, if you want to bring sexy back, if you just want to feel good about yourself… THEN DO IT!!!

I just finished my 6 week challenge and lost a total of 22.5 lbs. Writing that I lost 22.5 lbs. feels unreal! The first week was physically, mentally, and emotionally the hardest week throughout the challenge. Every single muscle in my body was sore and I didn’t think that I would be able to survive the 6 weeks. I have never been one to workout but, with the motivation of the amazing trainers and director JD, I pushed through and proved to my self that «i can’t» wasn’t an option. You won’t find the support you receive from the camp staff and your fellow challengers anywhere else. You receive step by step guidance throughout your 6 weeks and are not left with an unanswered question. The gym is kept clean and well maintained, which makes it a very comfortable environment to work out in. Now that I’ve completed my first challenge, I’ve decided to get a membership at the camp and continue my journey!

I’ve been struggling with my weight and joining the camp! has show me to eat healthy and they have great personal trainers and great workouts! In the pass 10 weeks I’m down 32pds

My camp review
I first join the camp and made the best decision ever on 2÷13÷16. What convince me was the honesty and straight forward answer the camp director gave us. I like the fact he was once in our situation. Everything JD said was as he was speaking straight at me. I began my first challenge on 2÷29÷16. After being off 2 months and losing interest in working out. I Had a trainer and he left. I got comfortable and didn’t feel like starting all over. When I started the camp I didn’t know if I was going like it or didn’t know if I would put my best to it… After the first week of being there, I realize how amazing this place would be and what I was able to still do, the way we can transform ourselves, body, mind and how we can do anything we put our minds too. With lots of effort, hard work and pushing through when it gets uncomfortable and staying 100% committed. I did it! With the help of wonderful people who work at the camp to the veteran members who give u that extra support and help we need, plus to have and amazing director who join the work outs to giving his class on Friday nights. I made it and entered my 2^nd challenge. I am proud of where I am now but still have more to go to get to my personal goal. If it wasn’t for the camp I know I wouldn’t have done it by myself. Thanks to all the trainers, the friends I’ve gain thru out the way and a huge thank you to JD aka the boss man aka the one who makes the West Covina feel like family and home… Thank you for the continuous motivation and encouragement and for believing in all of us. I have dropped from size 15 to pants to size ¹⁰⁄₁₂ I feel great, my skin is clearer and I love the way I look. hope once I meet my goal That I will become a member of the camp to help continue to push myself and others

Challenge 2 Review
Omg!!! Is this real life?!? I have successfully completed Challenge number 2 with The Camp Transformation Center is West Covina. This camp has not only helped me melt away some stubborn fat but more importantly it has given me a core and strong support group that I couldn’t have got at any other «gym». This challenge for me was 2x harder then the first as I came in with a very cocky disposition on the challenge. With out the staff (JD, Cynthia, Lani, Monica and Brian) and trainers I don’t know if I would have made it through. The camp has gotten me to my healthiest weight in my adult life and I cannot be more happy. Third Challenge I am coming for you. And again thank JD and The Camp West Covina.

January 11, 2016 was the day that changed my life for ever! I took the first step into making a lifestyle change. I started my first challenge at the Camp. I thought OMG am I really going to do this! I have done many different diets/​quick fix but this one is different! I had a couple of friends that have joined and were very successful! So I decided now is the time and I joined and jumped right in!
This camp is not only full of great trainers but the staff is like a family! Every week after weighing in, the staff not only are there to congratulate you on your progress but they answer all your questions! The camp gives you the tools with meal plan, the counseling and the workouts but it is up to you to Follow the Instructions!
My final weight loss was 21 lbs! I was in disbelief I did it! I am so ready for the next challenge! I now know it is achievable and am ready to take off another 20 lbs!

I’ve only known these people for 6 weeks but they already have a special place in my heart. They created my West Covina Awesome Fit Familia. They pushed, motivated inspired and held us accountable. 6 weeks later, I’m stronger, leaner, tougher and happier. I managed to lose 27.5 lbs in that time. I want to thank my AFF, my trainers and the best Transformation Camp staff. Monica and Laylani are like my sisters that keep me focused, Cynthia is like my mom that inspired me through love and JD is like my dad that I never want to let down. Looking forward to the next challenge. Love you all!!!

The Camp Transformation Center West Covina changed my life. Today is a very happy day for me. It was my final weigh-​in for my second challenge. I’m proud to say that I lost 22.7 lbs in this challenge and 50.2 lbs in both challenges combined. I couldn’t have done it without the love, support and push from my family, friends and my beloved AFF. JD, my director always gave it to me straight and believed in me. Cynthia, the assistant director was always so motivating and sweet and Laylani became like my sister, yelling at me every time I wanted to pig out. Trainers, like the amazing Raul, gave me the tools to be stronger, and my fellow challengers and campers like Jesus that kept pushing me and telling me I could do this. My children, endured my lifestyle change enforced upon them as they went thru chocolate withdrawals and supporting me with my little escapes to the camp. I truly appreciated the love and support from my loved ones that saw my transformation and encouraged me with positive praise. I love you all.

Whenever I read The Camp reviews I always look for how much weight a person has lost. So here it is, I lost 22 Lbs. with The Camp. The Camp has a good structure to help you lose weight. My problem before the camp was that I did not eat healthy. The camp’s «bible» will guide you to success and if you follow the damn instructions.
Do I recommend The Camp? Absolutely, if you are ready to lose excessive weight eat healthy, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. If you’re not ready to eat healthy, work out, and give up booze don’t waste your time.
I opt out of the program and will be getting my money back in 2 weeks. I opted out because the camp has given me a guide and head start to continue to eat healthy. Also, the hours do not work for me.
My reason for ⁴⁄₅ is because I wish they had more treadmills and more business hours. I do not have the perfect 9 to 5 schedule so it was tough to make it to the workouts. But trust me when you want to lose weight as bad as I wanted too, you will make anything work for you.
