This location is the same as all locations on the food. The reason why I am giving this place a five star is for the customer service, the cook in the back was going out of his way to help people with the sauces and giving people baggies. The cashier was very nice and was constantly checking up on table to see if anything was needed and made sure everyone was set.

I ordered the mini chicken bowl and yes I know it’s small but they hardly gave me any chicken ! The city of industry always does a great job with the chicken bowls and aren’t stingy with there food ! They also forgot the green onions that’s the main reason why I eat there. Check your order before you walk out !

I bought an Angus Steak bowl this afternoon. It costs $ 6.90 right now, comparing to $ 5.90 in the past. I understand that things are getting expensive these days, but I didn’t expect that quantity is also less than before. I got like 2⁄3 food in a regular size bowl. It’s unfair for us to accept a higher price with less quantity of food.

Worst Flame Broiler ever in the city of West Covina, in my opinion it doesn’t deserve any stars to be honest. Worst experience yet DONOTRECOMMENDATALL. The employees there are idiots poor costumer service and attitude every time I go. I probably won’t be back! The chicken is poor over cooked all the time. Rice is too overcooked, no flavor, other than tasting bland and mushy.

I wouldn’t normally write a review for Flame Broiler, but this one is good for a couple of reasons: 1) the food is generally better than the others. 2) they serve their food pretty quickly/the service is generally friendly and 3) THEBATHROOMISVERYCLEAN. This is a big plus in my book!!! If the bathrooms are clean, then most likely the kitchen is clean. There should be a separate rating in Unilocal for clean bathrooms!

Great place to go when looking for something fast and healthy! Prices are decent when compared to how much food you get but all the same it’s cheap good fast food and doesn’t hurt you in the gut or wallet!

I actually like flame broiler; my wife and I eat there occasionally. The beef is excellent; the chicken is too. My problem with this place is the RICE! TOOMANYTIMES I have ordered a beef bowl or a chicken bowl and the RICE is like MUSH. Overcooked, no flavor, other than tasting bland and mushy. I pointed this out to the manager, and told him if he thought that was ‘good rice’. He said he thought it was«OK». I probably won’t be back! If you sell RICE for a living; you should sell some delicious, properly prepared RICE!(NOTMUSH).

I’ve been here twice for lunch and both times It was the same cashier. She’s very nice let’s you know your options like if you want veggies brown or white rice and she also reminds you they put green onions on top so if you don’t want that in your meal you can let her know. It’s a very small place but also has an outside sitting area. Always very clean!

3.5 stars? Parking: Parking is pretty limited, I was close to parking on the street but for the most part everyone grabs their food and leaves. there’s a liquor store? right next store too. Décor: bare and small. The seats and table look evenly spaced out until you try to sit down — I had to push the table away from me because I was feeling a little claustrophobic. Service: The staff here were alright, not every talkative or necessarily friendly. They seem like they’re just there to do their jobs which is coool. If you’re dining in, they’ll just bring your food to you. Food: I just ordered the mini half and half bowl and a regular sized drink. It came out to $ 7 something. They offer the option of getting brown rice without an extra charge which was nice. The meat were nicely cooked for what it was, but it was definitely the sauce that kept me eating. I don’t know that I’d go back, it wasn’t anything special? I think I prefer Bmans over flame broiler: P

AMBIENCE: Small place that is kept relatively clean. You need a key to use the restroom. You can sort of see them grilling behind the order counter. SERVICE: Not much to it, and not much to complain or comment on. You order at the counter, and they call your name when it’s ready. My bf is a big fan of this place, and calls in orders ahead of time. They have never been rude. FOOD: I can’t say that I’m a fan of this place, but I do get the occasional craving for it. It’s weird. I’m Korean, so this is definitely not«Korean» food to me, but I prefer it over other«fast-food» options. The portions are fairly large, and their special sauce is pretty dang special. I usually get the mixed bowl which comes with beef and chicken over rice. I don’t really like the veggies so I save some change by skipping that option. My bf always gets the short rib plate with extra short ribs — he can’t get enough of it. We took his parents there, and they liked it as well. VERDICT: Not the best, but I will definitely go back. Remember, special sauce + spicy sauce = magic.

Goodbye Yoshinoya!!! The Flame Broiler is my NEW favorite, not that I go to beef bowl often, I don’t even remember when the last time I was there. Anyways, I got a piece of junk mail via USPS that finally interest me, it was coupons from«The Flame Broiler» one of which was a $ 5 off of $ 20, good deal I said, so off I go. The food here tasted much fresher, it even looked healthier, maybe because it does not come with a pint of sauce on top or maybe it was cooked to ordered and not simmering in sweet soy sauce for days… Overall, the food is good and the place is clean. Just keep those $ 5 off of $ 20 coupons coming and I shall return… To those who rate this place under 3 stars, you must be a competitor or a FAT-A$$.
