At Mathnasium of West Des Moines, we specialize in teaching kids math the way that makes sense to them. Using the time-​tested proprietary Mathnasium Method™ and curriculum that has helped thousands of students in more than 600 Mathnasium centers nationwide, we are committed to helping your child catch up, keep up, and get ahead in math. Our team of highly skilled instructors is passionate about math and helping kids and has been rigorously trained to teach the Mathnasium way.

All Mathnasium of West Des Moines students receive one-​on-​one instruction and a customized learning plan based on the unique needs and goals of each child. We focus on filling in the gaps in your child’s mathematical foundations while providing him or her with the help, guidance and encouragement necessary to tackle what’s being taught in school. The results are measurable progress, a renewed sense of confidence, and a positive attitude toward math and learning.

History

Established in 2011.

We opened in January 2011 as around the 220^th Mathnasium in the country. Now there are almost 650. We have helped hundreds of kids at all levels catch up, keep up, and get ahead in math!

My name is Dan Gehlbach and I serve as the Center Director as well as own the West Des Moines Mathnasium location.

After learning more about Mathnasium and seeing what it offers kids, I took the risk and started Mathnasium of West Des Moines 5 years ago. It has been tremendously rewarding to help kids in our community and see them reach their potential. We have hundreds of amazing success stories as a result of our Passionate Instructors, the Inspiring Learning Environment, Teaching Style and Curriculum at Mathnasium!
