Mountain Styles Salon & Spa

I was lucky to find Janice at Mountain Styles! I used the salon for my wedding day hair and make-​up, and I couldn’t have been happier. She basically took pity on me after I had a bad hair trial elsewhere, and she opened her shop an hour early the next day so that she could do my initial consultation before I left town. It took a few visits (my hair is not the most cooperative) and about half a dozen hairstyles, but we ended up with a great style for me. Janice really listened to what I wanted and helped me figure out how to position my veil and then how to swap it out to another accessory for the reception. It worked great!
My 4 bridesmaids and the mother of the groom all had their hair done there too, and we enjoyed a relaxed morning with the shop to ourselves. Janice even baked muffins and had fruit, coffee, tea, and juice for everyone!
I had my make-​up done there as well, but there’s only one woman who does make-​up, so make sure you take that into account if you’re scheduling a lot of bridesmaids.
Overall the experience was lovely. Prices were reasonable (especially so for those of us who are used to bigger city prices!) and service was great.
