At Cut and Color Studio Hair Design, we offer the best services the beauty industry has to offer at affordable prices. Our services include haircuts, color, highlights, fusion extensions, updos, perms and relaxers and airbrush makeup to name a few. We also have packages available both in salon and traveling for special events such as weddings, photo shoots, runway shows and charity events.

History

Established in 2010.

Cut and Color Studio Hair Design opened its doors with only $ 10,000 to start. Through smart business choices and a lot of hard work and dedication we have been able to grow above and beyond our original goals and have big plans for the future.

Thanks to our loyal clients and the large number of referrals our business is better than ever. To welcome new clients, we offer specials both in salon and through websites like Living Social and Groupon and to show appreciation for our clients’ loyalty we now offer a rewards program. It was a rough road but we were able to get back on our feet. We feel here at Cut and Color, we offer something different than the other salons out there. We are a very casual, cozy salon with expert stylists/artists that are friendly and treat you like you are part of our family. You still get the latest trends and styles at a reasonable price while feeling you are among friends. Our goal is to make every person feel special.

I made an appointment with Candice Flores to create a balayage look for my hair. She was very professional with her consultation and informed me ahead of time about the process, length of time it would take, and also provided me a quote. We discussed color options when I got to the salon. She was wonderful as far as explaining what she was doing, and provided great customer service (offered magazines, water and coffee, asked how I was doing). Needless to say, I fell in love with the final look of my new hairstyle! Candice is an expert in my opinion, and I am looking forward to having her continue styling my hair! She is AWESOME and I highly recommend her!

I just a haircut and style from this place yesrerday. A girl with red hair, did the worst job ever. As you can see from the pictures, it is uneven badly cut. Not worth 35 $$…more like some cut from haircuttery, not a salon.
I used to came here when Yoanna worked here, she was awesome. This place has gone down the tubes. Would never come here again.

I had a great experience at Cut & Color in Spring Hill Mall. Arianna did my cut and color, and she did an amazing job! She really worked hard on getting my color just right (my hair was in bad shape when I got there) and she listened to what I wanted and gave me an awesome cut. I had been going to the big name salon\spas for a while and was tired of paying their ridiculous prices. I was nervous to try a new place, but gave it a try based off a friend’s recommendation and am so happy I did. Arianna is definitely my new hair stylist. Also the prices cant be beat.

Truly the best. I highly recommend this gorgeous establishment. They truly take pride in their work and really listen to what you want.
After not cutting my hair for over a year I finally went and had all 8 inches cut off (into a pixie cut) it was scary for the first 5 minutes but then once I knew the stylist heard me and understood what I wanted and listened to his opinion I just knew I had hit gold!
If your looking for THE perfect haircut, YOU MUST GO SEE THEM.

I recently moved to Chicago and was desperate to find someone I trusted to touch up my balyage. I work inside Spring Hill mall and walked into Cut & Color for a simple hair cut. Candice was my hair stylist and I fell in love with her! She did such a great job with my cut and introduced me to amazing hair products to help correct prior damage. I trusted her knowledge and passion for hair that I booked another appointment for my balyage. It turned out AMAZING! Hands down the best balyage I have ever gotten! I am 100% hooked!
I would recommend Cut and Color and Candice to anyone! You will not be disappointed with your results!

There were only male stylists at a salon which made me a little uneasy, but I still decided to go with it. My hairdresser was very nice, but I wouldn’t say my hair turned out that way. I got a cut and a partial highlight and the color turned out brassy… I can’t even wear my hair in a pony tail since you see all orange chunky streaks (after I mentioned I didn’t want chunky highlights). I didn’t think he left the product on long enough, so parts were under processed. When I mentioned toner to the stylist he was dumbfounded; he didn’t know what toner would help, so he asked his other coworker and he said it looks fine and I should buy a purple shampoo. What, really??? My cut is poor as well (looks nothing like the pictures I showed him), but at least it’s still long enough where I can go else where to get fixed. I don’t even want to attempt to go back to see if they can correct it if they don’t have any idea of what they are doing. I’ll go elsewhere… I used a Groupon, but should have known better. I won’t go back!

I got a wash, cut, and style at the West Dundee/Spring Hill Mall location today. I have to say, it was one of the best hair cuts I’ve had. Alejandro was my stylist and he did a wonderful job. I have baby fine straight hair and have always had trouble with cuts and styles, so i’m always a little nervous trying places. We started with a consultation. He took the time to talk to me about my hair, what I liked and didnt like, what my past experiences were and worked with me to get what I liked. He was so knowledgable and very nice and didnt rush like a lot of other places I’ve been to. I felt important and that I would get a tailored treatment to what my hair care needs were. He recommended products that would be great for me, but didnt try to push me to buy anything. The total cost for my wash, cut, blow dry, and style was $ 30. I will definitely be going back!

Used the Groupon today for cut and condition treatment. It was such a great deal and excellent service! April was my Stylist and she was awesome. Very friendly, offered me a lot of styling tips and recommended some great products. I absolutely love my new haircut and walked away with some new ways to style my hair. I even booked my next appointment with April before I left. I would highly recommend this place!

Got a hair cut and keratin treatment today.
I absolutely love my haircut. I was very hesitant to cut it since I’m trying to grow it out and every time I’ve gotten a hair cut (at another salon) they cut off a lot more than I asked for. But not this time! I showed Joann a picture of what I wanted and she did exactly that. Best haircut I’ve ever had.
For the keratin treatment, Joann really took her time. She got every strand of hair covered in the keratin treatment. I can’t really say how the results are since I haven’t washed it yet.
The two girls working in there were very nice. I will definitely go back.

I cannot believe my friend and I were able to get a wash, cut and style for $ 20 each. Unbelievable… Sometimes, I just love the Midwest. Not only was the price ridiculously cheap, but Tracy did a fantastic job. My hair curled and bounced and curled some more in a way that centuries of my people were not genetically privileged to experience.

I bought a $ 99 Keratin Groupon and had my hair done around a month ago, after I washed my hair I was very disappointed since it looked exactly like it was before. I posted a negative review and I was contacted by the salon. I was invited in to have the process done again, Joanna (same who did it before) repeated the keratin treatment and she was very professional.
It has been 2 weeks since I had it done for the second time, as soon as I washed my hair I noticed the difference, my hair looked exactly like I was expecting it! (I had done quite a few keratin treatments before, so I knew how it was supposed to look)
My hair is thin, medium length and very wavy, now is pretty straight and smooth and takes me 3 minutes to blow-dry vs. 25 (I timed it)
Overall I’m happy with the results, I’m not giving them 5 stars because it was not done right since the beginning.

My family has been going to see Tracy for years now. We have followed her all over the Chicago land area. My wife refuses to have her hair cut by anyone else. And for good reason as there is simply no one better. Tracy is as sweet as she is talented while always maintaining her professionalism. And there is no one our kids or us would rather go to. It’s nice to have someone our kids look forward to seeing. Makes life SO much easier. All you parents out there understand what I am saying!
So we were thrilled to see she moved to a salon that was close to our home. And the Salon seems to be a nice fit. The staff have all been very nice and professional, it is always clean, the online appointments are a nice touch as well. And every customer we have seen in there have been smiling and seemingly very happy when leaving.
So the Salon deserves every bit of the 5 stars, and I can’t recommended it enough.

Tracy has been doing my hair for about 6 years now, and I have followed her to any and all salons she’s worked at. She is a highly skilled and extremely knowledgable stylist who is passionate about her job and will go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service to all cut & color clients.
I have only received EXCELLENT service from the entire cut and color team. Both salons are very clean & organized and easy to locate or contact with any questions or clarifications needed on the services provided or availability of the stylists.
The stylists/managers/owner love what they do and love to make all of their clients look and feel their very best.
The atmosphere is always upbeat and full of energy. You will leave looking fantastic, feeling completely pampered and in a great mood!
