McDonald’s

Food is rarely hot even when you ask for that specifically. Several times. Today I asked for the double quarter pounder meal as a deluxe, which adds lettuce, tomato, ketchup and mayo. He said he could add a beef patty to a regular deluxe meal instead. Charged me $ 1.60 extra. When I asked him to just put lettuce and tomato on the double quarter meal, he said it would cost more than $ 1.60. Funny how a slice of tomato and a piece of lettuce cost more than a quarter pound piece of meat.

Oh the days when drive-​thru service was for convenience. This McDonald’s is the WORST for drive thru service! Then if you are lucky you actually get what you ordered. Maybe part of the problem is they seem to hire only Hispanics that you can’t understand, much-​less them understand you…

This is a review from a night time visit on July 6^th.
I’ve been going to this McDonald’s for about 6 – 7 years when visiting family in the area and this visit have been the single worst visit I’ve ever head here by far.
We had just arrived in Jennersville and my mother who I was driving up to PA, wanted a Hot Fudge Sunday. We arrived about 10:30 and the lobby was already closed and there were about 4 – 5 cars in line in front of us. And then we waited… and waited… By the time we finally made it to the «order box» about 10 minutes after getting in line you could see that cars were now wrapped around the entire building. The person on the other end was rude. No welcome or any kind of greeting, just «What do you want?». I ordered the HFS, was quoted a price of $ 1.29 plus tax, something close to that, and then waited another 15 minutes as we crawled to the pickup window. Once we arrived there, I hear blaring mariachi music and standing there is who I can only assume is the night manager based on her outfit. Again no greeting, just a bark of «That will be $ 6.50». I say «I ordered a HFS and have been waiting in this line for 30 minutes for it, and the price is less than $ 2.00.» No acknowledgement of the wait or mistake, she takes my $ 5.00 bill and gives me the change, the HFS and closes the window. I’m thinking WTH, I’ve never had anything but impeccable service here in the past. My mother voiced something similar. Things have apparently changed and it will be quite some time before I visit here again.

It smelled like fishy water outside… But the bathrooms were really nice and service was top notch!
