Awful experience today. The hairdresser yanked on my hair and rushed through the appointment… even after I expressed to her that she was hurting my hair. The receptionist was unfriendly. I didn’t get the curls I wanted but I was so annoyed at the entire experience I had to get out of there. I will never go back to this establishment… they used to have quality stylist.

I only went here once but if I had the time or money Id go every week! I love the fact that they only do blowouts. You don’t have to worry about leaving covered in hair clippings or color or anything else. I love my hair and it looked great for days. It’s not unreasonably priced either considering how awesome your hair will look and how long it will last.

It’s been a while since I’ve gotten my hair done here so it’s high time for a review update! The new location is lovely (right around the bend from where they used to be) and parking was a total breeze prior to my Wednesday afternoon appointment. (Seriously, when does that happen?)
I’ve only been to Blo on three occasions and this was my best styling yet. I’ve always gotten the «Holly Would» (it’s in their menu book) which adds voluminous curls to a sleek blowout. I had a 12:45 appointment and needed the style to last for an engagement photoshoot later in the day, and it stayed beautifully! My stylist added a bunch of lightweight product that held the curls gorgeously, and even the next day they looked wonderful. For a special occasion, or if I need my hair to look good for a whole weekend (which — let’s be honest — I can’t do by myself), I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Blowouts are $ 40 (there are a handful of styles to choose from, including some simple updos) and I’m more than pleased with the results!

Love this place! I have curly hair that frizzes easily especially during humid summer months but anytime I get my hair straightened here the style lasts for nearly a week. Friendly staff too.

Im with all the other people that gave ONE star — what I want to know is how do they stay in business, and trust me they will be Not liking the fact that I called credit card company after they think they are not reimbursing me ha ha hello, welcome to america where YOU cannot rip us off — your policy to work on my hair is as follows — I will only pay you if I’m satisfied if I am not satisfied YOU will reimburse me – I DO NOT want any more dealings with you the END. I do not want another crappy service from you — just give me my money back, oh that’s not your policy well that’s too bad because as of today it is now!

I got my hair blown out by Lindsey and it was not the best experience. She wasn’t very friendly and was extremely harsh with my hair. I could feel it being ripped out and she didn’t even apologize or ask if I was ok. I felt uncomfortable sitting there like I was unwelcomed. I have been here in the past and had a good experience, but after this time I am questioning coming back. The stylists should make their clients feel comfortable and welcome, and I did not feel this way at all.

My go to place when I’m in the area and need a little pampering. All the girls are super sweet and talented. Highly recommend!

Being able to get an early appointment at 7am & be at work by 8:30am is a lifesaver! They truly know how to service their customers with busy schedules!

I have been here twice now and would recommend it to anyone who needs to get their hair styled for an occasion! My most recent occasion was a Great Gatsby themed party so I wanted some sort of curly style. I wasn’t very specific but my stylist, Amber, knew what I wanted and delivered! It came out great, lasted all night (8 pm-​past 1 am) and I got many compliments.

I wish I liked this place, but my appointment ended at 3 and my curls have already all fallen out as of 4:30. I don’t know if she forgot to spray them or maybe the style was wrong for my thick hair, but for $ 40 I’m not willing to go back and try again.

I started writing this review a few months ago, and decided to sit on it for a bit so I could think about if I was being too harsh. But I still agree with everything I wrote after a «cooling off» period, so have left the review as is… the date of my service was actually Saturday 9÷13÷14.
I left Blo today at 1:40 after spending 45 minutes getting «styled», and by 2:40 I was totally regretting the decision to ever go there in the first place. I wish I could give a zero for my style, as it was total crap. I was unable to look in the mirror the entire time she was working on me (she had my chair turned backwards), but it felt like there was a lot going on, and I wanted to believe I would have beautiful hair at the end of it all. When she turned me around, it was flat and boring, the exact opposite of what I said I wanted. It was slightly frizzy, I’m guessing, since she didn’t actually put any conditioner in my hair when she washed it. Why lather up twice and skip the conditioner? My hair is not the least bit oily so that was a bad call. As bad a call as the entire can of hairspray she put on my hair when she was done. I can’t even tell you who did my hair, as she never introduced herself, just came up to me and told me to come with her. I wish I had gotten her name, as I would advise to avoid her at all costs.
My normal stylist always does a blow out after my cut and color. She does it in15 minutes or less, without a bit of frizz. I leave with soft, silky, shiny straight hair with body and bounce, and it can last me 2 or 3 days if I’m careful… so not really sure how a place that specializes in blow outs could not handle this.
They get 1 star only because I cannot give zero… but also, when I called to complain that within 1 hour my hair was a giant frizz ball (when she promised me that the style would last all night), they refused a refund but did offer a free blow out next time I go on. If I do, I will re-​review if necessary. Though, I’m not sure I will take the gamble. Luckily today I had enough time to rewash and restyle my hair… especially awesome that I paid $ 50 and drove 20 minutes each way and spent an hour there, all so I could come home and do it myself anyway. If you go, be sure to watch what is going on, and also leave enough time to redo your hair when you get home.

From the appointment making process to the execution of my hairstyle, the company demonstrated their professionalism and showcased their ability to make people look fabulous! When I went in for my appointment, the place was packed but I was promptly seated. I had a vague idea of what I wanted my hair to look like, but my stylist (I believe her name was Allison) helped me figure out exactly what would look good with my dress. My hair is crazy thick and it took at least 20 minutes more than the 40 minute appointment, but my hair looked perfect. It stayed in all night, I got tons of compliments on it, and I couldn’t have been happier. I can’t wait for the next time I have my hair done at Blo.

My niece had medical conditions requiring navigating wheelchair which was no problem. She has baby fine hair and was pleased with blow out, I have thick curls and was less impressed, but better than I could do myself.

This is a great salon. I love being able to treat myself so I can have my hair looking great without having to spend an hour on it myself. Plus when the girls style my hair it has a nice shine and bounce. Going in again tomorrow!

I love blow dry salons and use them all the time, I recently relocated to the area and was dying to try this place out. The staff was beyond nice, the ambiance of the salon was awesome and my hair came out fabulous! Not sure what all the negative reviews are for, they are beauticians not magicians y’all! I’ll be back for sure!

Experience here can vary. I’ve had both fab and not so fab blo outs. Blo tab special where you can purchase a package of blo outs is a good deal. App is a convenient way to schedule appts.
Suggest asking for experienced blo tech when scheduling (put in app notes or by phone).

Nothing special here. I had higher expectations. My hair just didn’t turn out any better than I could have done at home. I went with the runway look. It came out very flat and I was really hoping for some volume. It wasn’t worth the time or money to have my hair blown out because it turned out the exact same as I would have done it myself. They don’t use any product either, another reason I could do it myself. It also just looked really normal by the next day. I guess I had hoped it would last longer.
The pluses were they were easy to book with and ran on time.

My friends and I went to get our hair done for a girls’ night out and loved our experience. We plan to go back again soon!
