History

Established in 1964.

The school was founded in 1964 and is sponsored by the West Hartford United Methodist Church. We are licensed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and we offer a program for three-​, four-​, and five– year olds. The purpose of the school is to offer the community a program that encompasses the highest standards in early childhood education within a Christian environment of love and support.

My name is Tracey Cappellucci and I am the Director of Christian Education. I have been involved with the West Hartford Methodist Nursery School in a variety of roles for many years. I am proud to now be the Director of a high quality program that is committed to excellence and has continued to make a difference in the lives of children and families in the community.
