Yes!!! I love this place! If you’re in the area don’t be afraid of the storefront– it’s real, authentic food that locals in-the-know enjoy regularly. Great meats and hummus. The rice is Devine. Get any platter and you’ll be happy!

AFTER I INITIALLYWROTETHISREVIEWMYWIFEAND I BOTHHADFOODPOISONINGSOBEWARNEDANDBECAREFUL! I lowered my rating from 2 stars to 1 star because not only is this food less than mediocre but its also dangerous! I expected more from this place seeing the other Unilocal reviews. The hummus was average. The kofta kebab, shish kebab, and chicken kebab were just ok. They came with boring plain white rice and no salad. For Dessert we tried Kenefe for the 1st time which was extremely sweet. We also regretfully spent 4 $ on the worst burnt baklava I’ve ever had! Don’t get your hopes too high and be prepared to have food poisoning if you want to eat here.

The first time i went there I had a Gyro. The gyro was great, the service was great. So, me and my boyfriend decided to go there again, but this time for lunch with his mom. They have a deal if you order on-line you get a 5 $ off. So, we decided to order on-line, because our bill was over 35 $. Wen we were checking out, the discount wasn’t able to go trough. One of the guys that work there told us that he would give the 5 $ in cash, since it wasn’t working on-line. So when we left, we asked for the 5 $, and the other guy, i think was the manager, didn’t wanna give us the money. So he started to get tense and stressed, but in the end he gave us the money and we left, disappointed with the food and service. The food this day was not good. My chicken was over grilled(like black spots that taste like burnt) and not seasoned. The Fries were salty and grease. The 3 stars are just because of the first day, otherwise it would be less that that.

I absolutely love this place. The turkish staff is so nice and friendly and the food is amazing. We have never had a bad dish here. Since the weather is beautiful we like to walk up and eat inside. They redid the inside with new booths & new wall menu with pictures. All of the food is home made and so fresh. Besides the lentil soup being so tasty, I highly recommend the chicken shish kebab dinner. It is perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked and sits on a bed of their delicious rice and comes with a side salad. Its never overcooked and the chicken is so juicy. I love trying their desserts. The rice pudding is heavenly, and I recently tried the brown pudding which reminded me of flan and tapioca pudding meshed together. Please try this place, you wont be disappointed!

The first time we came here, I didn’t want to go inside — looked like a whole in the wall. But let me tell you how pleased I was that I did go inside. The food is absolutely excellent! The adana kabob is really good and fresh. It’s $ 11 and you get rice, salad, bread and two kabobs. We also had the manti, which are little dumplings in a yogurt sauce also very good. I saw someone there ordering the grilled sea bass and it looked very good. They also offer grill lamb and chicken. Everything is freshly prepared and they cook it all in the open so you can watch your food being prepared. There are a few tables inside and the guys who work there are super nice and accommodating. Next door is the grocery store that carries all items imported from Turkey. This is def worth a visit. Once you try the food, you will come back.
