Specialties
The Little Treehouse is a group family daycare which provides care to children ages six weeks to five years. We have proudly served our community for the past seven years. Our mission is to provide a nurturing, safe, and professional environment for children, parents, and our staff. We recognize that children flourish academically and socially when exposed to competent and professional role models. In addition, positive experiences during early childhood years will foster a love of learning that will develop throughout a child’s life. With this in mind, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality child care in our area. As we are a relatively small home-based day care, we can devote individual attention to each one of our clients, insuring that their needs and expectations are always met.
History
Established in 2006.
The Little Treehouse founder, Marsha Joseph, is a dedicated wife and mother of two sets of twins. Her love of children prompted her to pursue a career in teaching. Consequently, she has devoted over 13 years of her life to educating and caring for children. She began her teaching career in 1998 and obtained a M.S. in Education in 2007 from St. John’s University. In 2006, Marsha created the Little Treehouse Daycare. Her goal was to combine the intimacy of a home based daycare with the structure of a professionally developed preschool. Marsha’s mission is to nurture the whole child and support social, physical, and intellectual development.
