Stan went the extra mile to try and repair my TV, but unfortunately Samsung is putting the squeeze on the little guy. Instead of Samsung just charging for a microchip, they wanted us to buy the chip AND an entire LCD screen! Thereby quadrupling the price and making the repair cost more than a new TV. However, they told Stan to give me their number so I could deal with them directly. Stan was gonna give me their number, but I declined. I don’t appreciate the way Samsung is trying to do business. Stan is a stand up guy who runs an honest business. If/when one of my other TVs goes out, I will definitely take it to Stan.
