H&R Block

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED !!! If you want your taxes done correctly do not do them at H&R Block. Representative at H&R Block made a mistake on my 2013 tax return. Openly admitted to making the mistake and I still took the hit financially because of it. May I add, it was a very simple mistake on a very basic 1040 tax form. So if you have a more complicated tax return, keep your fingers crossed they won’t fuck it up! Took me forever to hunt down the representative (also the manager of that specific H&R Block) that did my 2013 and 2014 tax return because so many of the offices were closed.
Pleaded to the Corporate Office of H&R Block, to see that the mistake was not my fault and was instead the fault of the representative of H&R Block. Seeing as I am a college student and did not have the money to spare to pay back the money that was owed due to this mistake, I was hoping they would have some compassion and understanding. Instead they completely disregarded my case and basically said «sorry we made the mistake but there is nothing we can do»
I WILL NEVER AGAIN GET MY TAXES DONE AT H&R BLOCK AND IF YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR TAXES TO BE DONE CORRECTLY, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!

Only out to make a buck and could care less about truly helping people. I stopped in this H&R block after visiting an atm next door. I soon realized that I left my home and forgot to print out my tickets for the game I was traveling too. I stopped inside this store hoping to come across a kind employee who would allow me to print my tickets without having to drive home. As soon as they realized I wasn’t there to use their services the lady became rude and not helpful. What could’ve taken her 2 minutes of her time became an inconvenience. Let’s not forget how far a random act of kindness can go. It wouldn’t hurt to try to help someone who may consider using your services in the future. Never will I patronize this facility or H&R block because they obviously only care about making a buck.

We had made an appointment a week ago, we were also told that the cost for their services would be half of what we paid last year. When we called to verify appointment, we were told that the cost would be more than we had been told previously. When we arrived for our appointment, ten minutes early, we were told that Jeff was busy and to sit and wait for“a half hour or so”, then when we asked for someone else that could help us, all of their computers were «froze up». I will never use them or refer them. We ended up walking out, without even being asked if we would like to reschedule. Very unprofessional service.

Ive done my taxes here before and this 1^st experience was ok… but what i experienced this time was «MIND BLOWING»
But the care that the associates from the H&R Block is what matters. Very Helpful very on point.
But the real reason why i even took the time out of my day to write this review is to talk about «Danny Kuratli»
I was not having the greatest day and I was even hated the fact that i had to go pay taxes for my 1099. But the care and the passion that this man showed me was the best experience i’ve ever had. Danny Kuratli made a connection with me and he made my day and actually got me to smile. If i were to recommend any of the associates at the H&R Block Danny Kuratli would be at the top of the list. I felt like he wasn’t making money off of me but he cared for me almost like i was one of his own children. I would like to thank H&R Block but most of all Danny Kuratli for going out of his way to make my day and he will own his own branch the way he keeps going ! i believe in him because he made me feel like i matter not just another client.

I’ve been getting my taxes done here for the past three years and never had any problems. I can usually call the day before I want to come in and they will almost always have appointments available.
Everyone I’ve worked with from the tax preparer to the receptionist has been helpful and efficient. They return phone calls and emails in a timely manner, and keep you up to date with everything you need to know. 2 thumbs up for H and R Block.

We had a new employee at this office do our taxes this year and she did not follow through with her agreements with us. I am very disappointed with Judith Matin for not backing up what she promised us and that H & R Block did not either. They have lost our business. As a a customer for over 10 years we feel the principle of this issue shows the lack of their integrity as a business. I do not recommend this office for your taxes. They are very sucky !!!
