Professional Orthopedics

My parents and I have been patients with Dr. Rumack for many years. I trust him and his office 100% and I’m always happy with the results. I also have used the physical therapy services and Aylmer and Justin are amazing. They have helped me with my back and pelvis pain. I feel super comfortable working with everyone here.

I have been seeing Doctor Rumack for my right shoulder since April of last year. I noticed pain and decided to get in checked out. He recommended and MRI after nothing was shown on the X-​ray. The MRI showed some problems, but he didn’t immediately recommend surgery like some doctors do. He wanted to see how I did with PT first. I did a coupe months of PT and still was having problems and that’s when he decided to do surgery. He was very reassuring and open to any questions I had. The surgery went well and now I’m doing PT. He is very friendly and personable and explains things very well. Great doctor!

I developed some pain under the arch of my foot that wouldn’t go away for almost a month. I decided it was time to do something about it so some friends in the medical field referred me to see the doctors at Professional Orthopedics. This office gets 5 stars from me for the following reasons:
1) EXTREMELY friendly and professional staff and doctors
2) Very clean facility
3) So many services were done in house (I wasn’t referred other places to get xrays, custom molds of my feet for custom insoles, procedures, etc.)
4) They even have their own physical therapy office on the same floor with very flexible hours and also very friendly/​professional staff
5) most importantly… no more foot problem! We tried several methods of treatment until my pain went away, just in time for my hike up to Half Dome!

Dr. Rumack is an amazing doctor and his staff are so kind and helpful. I have a few things I needed his help with and at my age it seems like I am in there every five minutes. I play sports and keep very active but with that comes injuries. He is so helpful and knowledgeable I could not recommend him high enough. Please do yourself a favor, if you have any ortho needs please see him first. He is kind, funny and very very helpful. He will be my doctor as long as he is in practice and I keep getting hurt! I would just like to say that Professional Orthopedics is a fantastic office! The doctors and staff go well above and beyond the usual medical office. Dr. Lee is a very gifted surgeon who treats his patients as true individuals. He is personable, reliable, professional and friendly. Their office manager goes out of his way to run a very professional office. Cheers to Professional Orthopedics !!!

Let me start by saying Dr. Rumack is an excellent doctor and surgeon. The first time I went to him was for my left knee (which I had already torn my ACL & meniscus) because it was swollen and I wasn’t sure if I had hurt myself again. He basically reassured me that it was nothing serious & I was just swelling from playing basketball. Months later I was playing during a basketball game, jumped and heard a pop in my right knee. (yes unlucky) I went to him again and sure enough it was my ACL. Knowing that I was active he basically asked when I wanted surgery. I waited 3 months and when that day came I was scared. However, he reassured me I would be fine, gave me a prescription pre-​op, crutches and a brace. This is so no one will have to fuss about anything AFTER surgery. I used an allograft for my surgery and the scars he gave me are VERY tiny. Post op, he was very humorous and answered every question without being condescending. He also used screws that will dissolve in a year ! YES! My left knee has permanent screws in it so I’m thrilled. Also, I was able to limp around about 5 days after surgery, and today, it’s been a couple weeks since my surgery and I think I’m doing considerably better than last time.
Only complaint I might have is a certain staff member there is irritable and will take it out on the patients. I wasn’t yelled at but snickering and rude comments basically made the staff member very unprofessional. It’s a 5 because Dr. Rumack is great and I highly recommend him.
