If you’re an IT professional and you need help, where do you go? I work for a major computer technology company and though I know my tech, I got stuck and went to The Computer Shop. Dave did it again! Renewed my old HP Slimline at he beginning of May 2016 that was having serious start up and freezing issues. Turn around time was a few days and it has been running perfectly. The price was more than fair and I was even upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. Start up is faster than I remember when it was new, but the most important thing always comes back to trust. I trust this shop with all the confidential info on the machine and to diagnose/​repair what needs to be fixed. Word of mouth is the best advertising and I have steered friends to them also.

I was having some issues with my PC and was not entirely sure what was causing the issues. These guys are very thorough and knowledgeable and they figured out what was causing the issues and told me what I needed to do with my PC.
I would definitely go back to this place if and when I encounter issues on my PC that I can’t figure out. The folks that work here are nice, helpful and approachable.

Ray is amazing! I am not very savy with computers and really needed the help of a proffesional. I had tried several diffrent avenues to get my emails archived and put them on to my hard drive to transfer to my new work computer, it sounded easy but two weeks passed and several attempts later I had not achieved anything. I was reffered by the West Hills FB page to Ray over at The Computer Shop, first I called to see if they could help me and they told me to come on in and they would be happy to check it out. An hour later I was there and Ray was great he knew exactly what I needed and told me that because my emails were large that it would take an hour (hahaha I told him he could take the whole day if he needed it had already been 2 weeks that I wasted). Later that day Ray called me to let me know it was all done and ready for pick up!
Ray is very proffesional and knows what he is doing! I will be referring The Computer Shop to all my friends and family in need of any computer questions!

Went to the Computer Shop to back up my computer and get some new programs for my business. I ended up buying 2 mac laptops from Ray. I am not the most computer savvy so I have been calling Ray to help my with the transfer of all my programs and he has been GREAT. The customer service is really amazing and I would recommend you go here if you have any computer needs. They go the extra step and have made me feel very comfortable with my new laptops. Ray and his staff are AMAZING and know their stuff. My boss had bought me a dell computer for work and it completely died on me. Ray was able to explain clearly and simply what had happened and quickly did a data recovery and fixed components in my computer. He was professional, patient, and had Fair prices. I highly recommend this place for anyone who isn’t looking to pay hundreds of dollars for a repair and wants to be treated with great customer service.

I cannot recommend the Computer Shop enough. My father is in a nursing home a few blocks from The Computer Shop and I live 3,000 miles away. He cannot speak and his computer is the only way we can communicate easily. When his computer broke down I called the Computer Shop and they were amazing. The went over to where my Dad lives, picked up his computer and took it back to their shop. They repaired the computer and were terrific about communicating with me about what was going on. Once the replacement parts arrived and they had fixed the computer, they took the computer back to my Dad and spent time getting him back up on the internet.
I had called several other places who could care less about my situation. David and Ray were kind and helpful. Many people don’t want to deal with an ill, elderly gentleman, or have to go into a nursing facility. They have my eternal gratitude.

So I was on the verge of breaking down crying like a toddler when my laptop decided that its no longer wants to turn on as soon as I had the biggest PowerPoint of my life due!!! A coworker of mine saw me about to burst and recommended The Computer Shop. I rushed over immediately and told them I would pay them whatever they want to bring my computer back to life as soon as possible. Luckily they worked their magic, I got my stuff all back, they didn’t charge me an arm and a leg (actually charged me less than all the other places I called) and I was able to get my work turned in.
Oh and I forgot to mention not only did they pretty much saved my career but they repaired my broken iPad too :)

I #LOVE THE COMPUTER SHOP. Ray is a Computer Legend, he fixed all my problems very fast and was very fairly priced. He even dropped off the computer to my job as I was unable to pick up but needed my laptop back. When my desktop had an issue, he personally came over, diagnosed the problem, took the computer back to his shop, and dropped it back off when it was fixed. If you need your desktop and/​or laptop serviced, fixed or upgraded, Ray should be your only option. I Love this Man. Service is impeccable, prices are on the lower end for the job he and his team provide. Go see him. Tell him Young sent you.

I have come here various times now, they have helped me fix countless issues with three different PC’s now.
Most recently I came here for what ended up being a motherboard issue on my laptop. They have always provided a speedy diagnostic and repair. This time, they offered to back up content, however for $ 95 I did not believe it was worth it because I have only had my laptop for a few months. I explained to them that as a TA the only document that was important was my spread sheet for the class I taught. They immediately emailed it to me. Having been in customer service, i really appreciate these guys’ work and dedication.

My wonderful cat decided to jump up on my CPU and knocked it off the desk and on to the floor. Upon trying to get everything hooked back up and restarted, it was dead. The only thing it would do is beep. We got it to the Computer Shop just before closing, and Ray said he would call me Monday when they could look at it. Used the laptop for the rest of the weekend. He called back Monday morning having found one of the Ram memory seats had broken during the fall. Gave me a more than reasonable estimate for repair. Was able to pick it up just hours later. Works amazing. Lost not a single file or program. They also did a tune up on it. Highly recommend them!

I appreciate your responses to my review. As I stated before I was simply sharing my experience with your business. That being said, you are absolutely correct in that I did not come back during the warranty period like I should have and that is my own fault. It’s because of that, as well as, my father was a long time local small business owner and I do what I can to support local small businesses, I am going to be removing my review.

Called this place twice. 1st for data recovery for a hard drive. They didn’t know what they were talking about and couldn’t answer simple questions. 2nd, I needed to a buy a flash drive. They were going to sell me an 8GB drive for $ 20.00. To give you reference, most 16GB USB3.0 drives go for just a little over half that price. I know when I’m being taken for.

Unilocaling on behalf of my husband who has had an awful couple of weeks with technology. His computer just stopped working. All of my husband’s work, contacts, emails — you name it, he could not access anything. He bought a new computer and took the new computer along with the now deceased computer to The Computer Shop. According to my husband «Ray was great! His rates were amazing, turnaround great, Ray explained everything and the next day everything from the old computer was now on the new one.»

This is such a great shop. I have used them 4 times and the entire staff is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable too. One night, my daughter was about to print her report she had been working on for 2 weeks and the laptop died. Of course it was due the next day. We ran the laptop over, they retrieved the report immediately and had the computer fixed in a couple days. I have had 2 computers repaired, data transferred and have had all my questions answered. They are honest too and will let you know if something isn’t worth fixing. They also go the extra mile and explain everything before you leave.
