Specialties

Imagine living in a flexible and balanced body that is free of pain, stiffness and chronic stress. Imagine your body at ease with itself and able to adapt to life’s physical, mental and emotional challenges.

This is what you can expect from Rolfing, the highly respected process of soft tissue manipulation that balances and realigns your body by releasing tension and strain.

If you think your body should feel better and move easily, then Rolfing may be right for you. Rolfing can resolve pain and discomfort from many different causes, including those related to the lingering effects of accidents, illnesses, trauma, repetitive motion injuries, aging and strain.

History

Established in 2007.

I started my bodywork training at The Institute of Psycho Structural Balancing in 2003 in Culver City.

This led me to study Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy under Hugh Milne at the Milne Institute in Santa Monica.

I became a Certified Rolfer at The Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado in 2007.

Seven years later, I became a Certified Advanced Rolfer.

Meet the Business Owner

Al F.

Business Owner

I became interested in bodywork after receiving my first massage in my early 20s. That prompted me to begin my journey as a student of bodywork. As interested in the work as I was, I shifted course after I accepted an opportunity working as a counselor with at-risk populations. I loved being a counselor, but I knew at some point I would return to bodywork.

Years later it was a chance encounter with a Rolfer that introduced me to Rolfing and redirected my focus back to bodywork. I enrolled at The Institute of Psycho Structural Balancing in 2003 where it became clear that helping people through bodywork is what I wanted to do with my life.

I went on to study Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy under Hugh Milne at the Milne Institute in 2005. I became a Certified Rolfer at The Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado in 2007. After Rolfing for seven years, I became a Certified Advanced Rolfer.
