Darren literally will not finish until every single hair is in perfectly place– and then after your haircut your hair flows like it never has! And the haircut is soon great it last longer than any other haircut I have ever had! It changed my life I LOVE going there its clean, they have treats and coffee. DARREN is so great !!

I highly highly recommend getting your hair done with Darren Engel! Been going with him for 6 years! I won’t let anybody else touch my hair! I have a lot of hair and Darren always knows how to make my hair look great! Everywhere I go I get conpliments on how beautiful my hair looks!

I got a GroupOn to see Darren. Not only was he responsive via phone and email, he was flexible and made me feel like I wasn’t just a number. Thorough, took his time, he asked all the right questions and I am over the moon with my hair!

I live right by the London Hotel and never knew there was a hair salon located inside. I purchased a groupon for a hair cut and blow dry with Darren. The groupon was very affordable but I walked out with a million dollar hair cut and blow dry! Darren was so informative about my hair but what I even enjoyed more was his focus on detail. I walked in with a long bob and I just needed it to be shaped and thinned out. He took his time, asked me questions about my hair and what I wanted while he was trimming away. He has great bed side manner and really don’t see that much with hairdressers. The salon itself was very nice. It’s located in the back of the gift shop. The salon has big windows facing Larrabee Street. The first desk people where very nice and attentive. I will be back!

I HIGHLY suggest Michael! He is so sweet and amazing… Always does my hair from cut to color. He also did my hair for my wedding and it was perfect!
Also, they have a cute gift shop in the reception area.

Love this Salon! Andre does my cut and color and he’s absolutely amazing! I have very long and thick hair which makes it difficult to work with sometimes but he’s a genius all the way around! And a total sweetheart at that! Thank you Andre :)

Flora is simply the BEST colorist in Los Angeles. I’ve been getting my hair highlighted for years, and have tried all the ritzy salons in Beverly Hills, NYC and beyond, I was never thrilled. Then I saw a woman with amazing, gorgeous natural looking hair and I asked her who did her hair. She raved about Flora, that was 5 years ago and I’ve been a devotee ever since!
I get stopped on the street several times a week by people asking me who does my hair. Go see Flora, you will be thrilled!

Michael Stevens is the most talented Hair Stylist, I have ever met. He loves making beautiful hair. I highly recomend! Alex Roldon Salon is beautiful.

I can’t speak for any of the other stylists but I’ve been seeing mine, Dolly, for many years now. She is consistently amazing and is an expert at her craft; cut, color, you name it, she is a pro. The salon itself is always clean and Joe is the best front desk man of any salon, any where! And you never know what L.A. celeb might be getting their hair done in the chair right next to you.
Valet parking at The London Hotel gets validated so it only costs you three bucks and if you feel like lunch at Gordon Ramsey’s while you’re at it, well you’re right there.
Dolly rocks, I think the world of her and she’s great at what she does!

Alex is the best in the world! Worth every cent and MORE. He has a great sense of humor and compassion. I would never go anywhere else.

Alex keeps giving me the best cuts of my life. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. He is funny, too.
The site says $$$$ but I disagree, it is more like $$$ and you get every cent worth.

This salon gave me the BEST haircut of my life. It is 2 months later and I’m petrified of going anywhere else (sadly I don’t live in LA and can’t make it out for at least a few months thanks to large events coming up) lest I mess this cut up. It seriously looks better every day. I have no idea how that’s even possible, but that’s the truth.
I had a tiny issue with my color — wanted it about 2 – 3 shades darker — and my colorist happily stayed after hours and fixed it without causing a fuss at all. I also had a manicure which was great; the manicurist wasn’t your typical airhead and we had a fantastic discussion about literature. She recommended this incredible book to me that’s become one of my favorite reads.
The receptionist was incredible — funny, interesting and super sweet, and very accommodating.
Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Alex Roldan saved my butt.
when my boss decided to go to the white party at the last minute, i had to find a place in LA to have her hair and makeup done that was fabulous, near her hotel, and most importantly, OPEN ON THE 4TH OF JULY. unfortunately, alex roldan met only 2 of those requirements. sufficiently fabulous AND located in the london, i thought i’d sunk a hole in 1 until Joe the manager told me they weren’t open on the national holiday.
before my heart could fully sink out of my chest, Joe came to rescue and offered to hook me up with two amazing artistes who would come to my boss’s room to do her makeup and hair to her satisfaction. he also gave me his cell phone number in case of emergency.
Joe is the best – finding people like him who understand the plight of the assistant is key to my success as an assistant. And my boss was thrilled. Service was especially pricey due to it being a holiday and that the stylists worked in-​suite, but in the end, worth it. also, i’m not paying the bill, so that makes it easier.
i recommend giving joe a call in you’re in the neighborhood.
