Home. Gardening. Interior Design. Style. You got me. Given that, two of my favorite mags are Architectual Digest/​Dwell, I am always on a look out in looking at different types of furniture, home furnishings, you know, and much much more.
Barclay Butera: what can I say about you? First impression — I’m in love, but after getting to know you, you’ve got some major issues at times. In other words, Barclay is an eye candy for furniture, you know, just nice to look at. HAH.

When one steps into Barclay, this place will blow you away, because really, they do have great stuff, or it LOOKS as if they have great stuff, but, don’t let that fool you. I hate to be saying this, but I currently have this $ 6ooo couch (of course I got it on sale), which doesn’t even LOOK/​FEEL $ 6ooo, and honestly, I wasn’t really pleased with it. The quality isn’t that great at all. The stuffing (down) inside the couch keeps poking its way through, and even though I made a complaint, and even though, they «fixed it» I feel cheated, and they were being slightly difficult. Basically, I feel like I got a «used» and an «abused» couch. i even had to ask them later on, if i ended up getting a couch on the floor, (trust me, i am NOT getting a couch on the floor, imagine! all those people sitting and tainting the couch) but they said it wasn’t, and i guess i can only take their word…
I can’t really comment on the other stuff, such as tables and side tables and stuff, but looks good to me… so, you’re on your own there.
As a consumer, I felt cheated because I don’t think I should be paying a grip (for me, it’s quality), AND if it has problems (within the first month), and given that, you are selling your merchandise, I think you should be telling me the ins and outs, and trust me, when me and my mom shop, we don’t go on a spree. We think it through. They didn’t even tell me that this couch/​sofa had a bed underneath. I mean, that’s fine, I like it and all, but I could’ve found a different sofa for a lower price.
So, looks wise — I’d give it 5, but quality wise, I’d give it a 1.5, so overall, 2. I know that in basic math, it’s like 3.25, but I’m not in the mood to be giving exact ratings.
