Caffe Primo

I guess it’s about time I rate Primo since I’m there pretty much every day. I work in the plaza and this review is mostly for the lattes and the employees. They’re the sweetest group of people ever, and it brightens my day going in there. Excellent service, I know all of their names and they know mine, and they’re prompt about getting me my daily dose of caffeine. I’ve had all the lattes, they’re all excellent, and their lemonade is delish. I’ll keep going until I leave my current job.
All I can say about people who complain about the service, BE NICE TO THEM AND THEY WILL BE NICE TO YOU. I work in the plaza and know that the clientele there can be a bit snooty and standoffish. If you ever get negative energy from the staff, you are probably putting it out there in the first place because they’re all sweet as can be if you treat them like human beings.
My only teensy complaint, for which I took one star off, would be that it takes forever to get a bagel made. I have to go in before my shift otherwise I’m on the clock and waiting ten minutes for a mostly un-​toasted bagel with a few square slabs of cream cheese. Sometimes its great and prompt service and the bagel tastes great and sometimes it takes forever and is mostly cold.
I would say that in the general scheme of food places, this place is only two $$, but for coffee shops its definitely pricey.

One of my new favorite spots for lunch. I got the Blackened Salmon Salad, a cold pressed juice and espresso. All of it was phenomenal and great outdoor seating!

Love their juices! Bread pudding is delectable but a must share item. Nice atmosphere and great location. We drive from all over the city to come here. Good quiet place amid the busy sunset strip to work or visit or relax.

Caffe primo has been a hate it or love it type lunch option in our office, but I’m on the love it side. Considering the choices around the area, it has a great selection of both breakfast and lunch dishes with ice cream and juices if you are craving something different. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the LA sunshine dining outside and you never know what celebrity you will run into here. Aside from the ambiance, the food is solid too. My go to option is the crêpe with chicken, spinach and mushroom. The first time I ordered it, it was dry and disappointing. However, I decided to give it another try and it was definitely better! It was creamy on the inside and the outside was also nice and soft. Its a good amount of food for lunch and comes with a salad.

Served scalding hot capellini marinara, resulting in a 2^nd degree burn on my tongue. Next time don’t serve as hot.

This place is listed as open until 11:00pm, I get here at 9:45pm and the doors are locked. Thank you for wasting my time and falsely displaying your hours.

They open early at 8am and close late at 11pm. I think this is a plus especially if you are staying near the Grafton On Sunset. They also offer healthy eats like salads, sandwiches, and I was really surprised how good my croissant was. Love their cozy outdoor dining area especially in the evening. And when you are ready to to place your order, just go to the cashier.

Very nice and chic place that I tried for breakfast. Ordered a breakfast bagel and was surprised that it came with a side salad. Very cool. Has ample seating outside and good music playing. Would definitely suggest this place to others. Would even come here for dinner or lunch.
The food did take a little while to come if you’re in a rush. Not a big deal with good food. Tried to use the WiFi but couldn’t find it. The WiFi password was on the receipt. Not the end of the world. Come even if you just need a coffee.

An awesome café that is big enough for all sorts of people. You can sit at a counter plug in your laptop and study, you can sit outside with your friends and get an awesome salad and healthy drinks. Food is great, service is on par, no complaints.
I’ve been returning over and over bc of the vibe. True to any European café, you feel no need to get back to life and leave. You can relax, chat the time away or just read a book. It’s always a bit busy, some people are on dates, others are just grabbing a cocktail… maybe that’s why I like this place, I like to people watch.

This place is the WORST. This place is right by where I work, so it’s a convenient spot to go, but they usually take about 20 – 30 minutes to get a smoothie or a panini out to you. Once I get the food, I can’t even eat it because my lunch break is basically over. I just waited 20 minutes for a smoothie that I can’t even drink, because ¾ of it is beat and carrot chunks that weren’t even blended for more than 2 seconds it seems. This place sucks, I really wish it didn’t but it really does. Terrible service, terrible quality. :(

Got the ahi salad. Ahi was seared to absolute perfection, salad needed a little more dressing/​taste or something. Maybe the rabbit food aka lettuce didn’t compare to the divine ahi. Hubs got the granola yoghurt with berries. He wiped it clean so I’m assuming he LOVED it

I love the food here it’s so good and so healthy. The staff is so friendly ;) I love the layout. Fresh juices are the best

This place was located close to where I was staying, so it was super convenient to come grab some coffee in the morning. I’m used to having about 3 coffee shops per block to choose from, so being in this area I had to take what I could get. However, that being said Caffe Primo did a great job. They make a decent Americano and have a nice selection of healthy breakfast items to choose from. I usually stuck with the fruit and yogurt, but everything I saw looked good! All the staff were really nice, and the service was fast and efficient.

I love love coming here because of the patio and the beautiful view. The food is awesome and the coffees are pretty great. I come here for lunch or for business meetings and its always very chill. I always expect a big rush at lunch time but no its usually pretty cool and not busy. They have a huge parking lot or you can find street parking if you get lucky.

Lame place. Bitter coffee, old food, soooo overpriced, slow as hell, rude employees AND they allow dogs in the store. Ummmm okay then…
Isn’t this a Health Code Violation??? What other Health Dept rules are they ignoring?

Great late night option! It’s a perfect place to chill at on a Friday night when you’re in the mood to get out of the house but don’t want to be at a bar.
Love the outside seating, it’s spacious and the strung up lights are a nice touch. I’ve never had the food but the options look good and healthy! I always see people from Equinox stopping by to pick up food.
The drinks are good, usually get chai or coffee and I like that they offer almond milk. I say pass on gelato (it’s very mediocre at best) and opt for one of the cakes instead.

I love coming here for a quick bite after my workout or during my lunch. My usual is the brown rice bowl with grilled chicken and veggies, without the brown rice. Who needs carbs? If I want to try something different then I have their quinoa salad. Both taste great.
You can park in the structure and Primo will provide validation to bring the cost to about $ 2 for parking. Not bad. Street parking is going to be much more difficult on Sunset.

We only tried the dessert here, so the rating is strictly for the gelato.
And the gelato was very good. I tried the raspberry and tiramisu, and both were great in terms of flavor, texture, and creaminess. There’s a great selection of flavors you can sample, and I have to say, I was very conflicted when it came time to order because all the ones I tried were excellent. If I’m ever in the area i’ll be sure to try the others.

Love this place! Have been there so many times. Nice atmosphere, fun to watch people, a little bit «Euro trash»… Nice cappuccinos, tuna sandwiches, salads, crepes and brunch on Sundays. And usually very healthy options. Service perfectly ok!
