Christine Liu Hair

I’ve always been pretty impartial to hair stylists, but Christine is really special and I plan to keep coming back to her.
1. She is very knowledgeable about hair– to a nerdy level. Not just style, but type and color. how it behaves. She can tell me things about my hair I never knew.
2. She makes very honest recommendations. I have a round face and olive colored skin; she has a way of guiding me to the right decisions. There may not be black-​and-​white «right» decisions but she leads me to decisions that I feel is right for me
3. The total experience is great– great shampoo, great cut, great blow dry. and I love talking with her
4. She makes me look good :)
I highly recommend Christine. In case readers are interested, I have asian hair– straight, thick, and a lot of it.
She’s in Salon Republic, which is part of a strip mall. Parking is underground/​garage– free (up to 90 min) with validation.

Love! Christine! I have thin hair and don’t trust a lot of people with a pair of scissors near it. AND I am impulsive and need someone to help me add a little funk to my tresses from time to time while still keeping me grounded so I am not in tears the next day– Christine is a master at both. She is skilled as a hair dresser and as a person. She so sweet and gets what I am trying to explain to her, and always has lots of great input as well. Plus she is easy to schedule with and in a location with easy parking which in west hollywood is a MAJOR plus!

I’ve followed Christine ever since I moved here from Texas and I have to say I am so happy she is in her new space. Its got a great atmosphere and I book directly with Christine (no more front desk issues). Christine has always been great at men’s cuts and works with my hair type to make it look the best it can. She’s always cheery and the over all experience is great.

Christine is the Bomb ! I have been in the beauty industry 20 years and very rarely do you find a colorist, cutter and stylist all in one !!! And an expert at all … So so talented this hair wizard is beyond the best. She has a degree in costume design I believe is why she truly understands what she is doing. Consistent with delivering magical results gives me a sense of comfort that you KNOW every time your hair is going to be fabulous !!! I have been a client for 3 years.

Here is why Christine is the BEST. I came to her a year ago with damaged, stringy, bleach blonde hair. Hair that wouldn’t even hold it’s own curl anymore. Within just a few months she completely changed the life of my hair. My hair is healthy, has it’s curl back, is finally growing again, and it’s a fabulous natural blonde. Christine is sooo talented. I only trust her with my blonde locks.
