We specialize in «VACANT» (at this time we do not offer occupied/​partial staging services) home staging

throughout the Los Angeles area. We approach each job with individual attention and determine who the potential buyers might be. We then create a unique design to appeal to the largest buyer pool. Color Me Sold takes pride in owning all of our own inventory and most of our art work is hand painted. We have a large warehouse with many styles to choose from. Other stagers rent their furniture and are limited on choices.

Color Me Sold works with individual home owners, home builders, major banks, asset managers and real estate investors.

We are one of the most affordable staging companies in Los Angeles with the highest quality furnishings.

History

Established in 2007.

Chris has been in the real estate industry since 1990. As an Agent he took pride in staging his own listing to help his clients get their listing sold faster and for top dollar. As a result, other agents started requesting his help with their listings.

Ron was flipping homes in Palm Springs from the early 2000’s and selling them fully furnished.

When Chris and Ron meet in 2007, they decided to join forces and create a high quality home staging company and offer there services at an affordable price. Color Me Sold was born and in this short period of time has now grown in to one of Los Angeles’ top staging companies.

There is no better investment when selling your home than having it staged. We got bids from several staging companies and Color Me Sold was less expensive and had far superior examples of homes they have staged. The house looked much nicer staged than it did when we lived in it. Chris and his team knocked it out of the park and he was just a super nice and laid back guy. We had multiple offers and got over asking. Enough said!

To really understand the worth of home staging, particularly Color Me Sold, let me recount my recent home-​selling adventure. I first listed my house — with no staging. We listed it for less than comps, hoping for a quick sale. It sat and sat, and sat. With no offers. Eventually, we accepted an offer and entered escrow, but it didn’t end up working out. It was pretty devastating.
We decided to remove the listing in order to re-​evaluate our strategy. I began to look into the possibility of staging, and our real estate agent referred me to Color Me Sold. Chris came by to look all over the house and provide an estimate. The price, to be realistic, was substantial. However, staging would be a strategy we hadn’t yet tried out, and other staging companies I had checked out were within a similar or higher price range. I was really impressed by Color Me Sold’s portfolio and Chris’ professionalism and experience, and all that would be included in the quote, so I decided to go ahead with their service. Chris was as accommodating as possible to our timeline requests, and got the process rolling as soon as possible. I was contacted soon after by Chris’ colleague, Susie, to schedule a time for her to come by to take measurements and to decide on themes. I had an excellent experience communicating with Chris and Susie, from beginning to end. They were both reliable and responsive, and I was truly grateful for their patience in answering my numerous questions and addressing my concerns.
The actual staging process took a couple of days. The staging team was extremely hardworking, diligent, and friendly. When they were done, I was amazed at the change. The house looked like someone else’s home. The look was elegant, inviting, and updated. We re-​listed — at a higher price. Within 3 weeks, we got 3 offers. We closed escrow a month later.
The difference between the first time around and the second? Staging — Color Me Sold.

This home was on the market for just 7 days and I had over 40 different realtors through the home without holding an open house. Color Me Sold just staged my Studio City condo listing, and took it from «nice» to STUNNING!!! Not only did they make excellent design choices, but they took the client’s opinion into consideration as well, and took extra measures to make sure he was happy. We had extremely tight time frames, and they got everything done by the time we needed it. Additionally, this was a third floor unit, with a multitude of stairs and challenges to get the furniture in. They creatively came in through the roof top deck to make sure that all the furnishings made it in with no damage to the walls or floors, whatsoever. My first Open House was yesterday, and many of the potential buyers commented on how amazing the staging was. We had many great prospects, and expect an offer this week! I would absolutely recommend Color me Sold to anyone looking for phenomenal staging at a reasonable price!

Love, love, love this company! I bought a home that was staged by Color Me Sold. Without a doubt, their staging made a huge difference in how the home appeared and there were multiple bidders. After my offer was accepted, I wanted to buy some of the staged furniture and art because it looked so perfect in the space.

OH MY GOODNESS! these guys are great. As an architect developer, I see the potential of spaces, but I know that is one of the hardest things for potential buyers to see. As a realtor, I am in debt to Color Me Sold! Their staging magic can make any house look like a castle… no matter how bad it starts off! They are easy to work with, professional & very up front. Their pricing is very competitive & after checking around, they seem to give more & have much higher quality furniture than most (not that cheap crap a lot of others use) they even brought in actual artwork!!! Every client who has used them has been blown away & very happy as the house sells within weeks (sometimes days) of their magical transformation!!!

Just used them to stage my empty house for sale. First, they made changes to their schedule to get my house done quickly, which got my house on the market faster thank goodness. Second, my house does not have a dining room, but they were able to stage the house in a way that had a dining room… how? I don’t know but it’s awesome. Finally, the furniture they chose was the perfect style for the home and they were able to put everything together in just two days. They even sent an email to all of their contacts about my listing! Color Me Sold specializes in staging, but has branched out to non-​certified «interior design». I made the mistake of using their services and was very disappointed. Not only were 2 of the initial contractors he recommended unqualified, but the their billing was ridiculous. I had agreed to a $ 75/​hour charge for consulting plus 10% on purchases of furniture. Yet I got bills for 10% surcharges on electical contracting, plumbing (in addition to his the $ 75/​hour charge and the charges of the contractors). Measurements were wrong that he made. Lots of headaches. I finally paid him off and fired him. Beware!
