I was misdiagnosed!
I came in for a bad chest cold and a sore throat. Since the strep was negative, I was sent out with no prescriptions. I went to a REAL urgent care center because it was hard to breathe and had bronchitis. This is not something to mess around with.
I’ll never go to a CVS minute clinic again!
Also, when I asked what the white spots were on my tonsils, she said, «It might be CANCER», oh lovely! Sure, that’s the only possibility. Way to scare a patient.

This place is garbage. I have health insurance, the nurse prac. told me I was covered, so did my health insurance. Minute Clinic relentlessly sends me bills that were supposed to be covered by my insurance. Even when my medical group paid the bill MINUTE CLINIC keeps sending me bills. I just paid it in fear of it going to collections. Complete crap. Don’t go here.

I’ve had good experiences here for small health problems, like ear infections or cleaning out wax from the ears or a skin rash. They get you in fast, no appointment needed, and don’t charge much. And they’ve always diagnosed me correctly. Of course, if there’s something seriously wrong, I go to a regular doctor’s office. Minute Clinic is for more minor health concerns.

What a great convenient place to come to! quick service and the nurses here are very nice! It is nice that you are already in a pharmacy to get the medications. the line isn’t too long ever. I had a soar throat and i came here and within 3 min they told me I had strep.

I usually go to my general practitioner when I get sick. He is seriously the best, unfortunately he recently relocated to OC. Thinking that going to the minute clinic would be a quick fix… WRONG. I went in found out I have a bad ear, and sinus infection I’m given the most expensive $$$$ prescription even when I ask for the cheapest. I pay $ 70 for the medicine and $ 100 for the visit. In total the trip cost me $ 170 (I’M NOT MADE OF MONEY). It has been days I still feel the same despite taking the meds. This leads me to conclude the doctor has no clue what she is doing. My doctor in OC usually gives me the right prescription usually cost around $ 5, and within hours I feel brand new. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE, and MONEY FOR THAT MATTER!!! THE WORST!!!

Ms. Clegg went so far above and beyond for me last night when I raced in to the cvs last night. She absolutely made my entire day and I was scrambling to see her before she closed. She was fast yet made sure to complete each step in detail and really did me a huge favor by taking me as a client after she had stopped taking patients. She made sure to treat my symptoms and make me feel comfortable along the way.
She was just so kind and it was a breath of fresh air after the miserable day I had.
Thanks to her I definitely want to give this minute clinic a great recommendation.
Parking is free and the pharmacy was fast.

I was diagnosed with strep at this minute clinic. After four days of antibiotics my condition continued to only get worse. When I returned, I was told they couldn’t do another strep test or prescribe me anything! Not even a steroid. On top of that, the doctor refused to write my work note for the day I had previously missed due to my condition because I did not come see her the day prior. I left and went to the Urgent Care on Robertson in Beverly Hills. Turns out I had an abscess in the back of my throat that if it wasn’t immediately treated it could have caused much larger health issues. I was given the proper antibiotic injections and a doctors note for all work days missed. The minute clinic doctor didn’t even recognize the abscess on the back of my throat. Horrible place. I won’t return.

i thought the nurse practitioner was great when i left but a week later when i ended up at a ENT I realized she was lazy and did a poor job. I had a painful left ear that sounded like the ocean for a few weeks, no fever, went to Minute Clinic and the NP told me it was wax in my ears and to buy Debrox and use twice a day for 4 days. Didn’t get better and ENT told me i had a severe infection and fluid in ear, swollen glands on both sides of throat. I realized NP never checked glands and ENT said i didn’t have wax build-​up. I’m a true believer in nurse practitioners but this one was totally off. Shame on her for not feeling neck and missing ear infection. Filipina on a friday afternoon.

I’ve been to this minute clinic and the nurse practitioner (a blonde woman) was absolutely amazing! I felt welcome and cared for and was very happy with the service I was provided. I’ve read the comments below and some of them sound like uneducated people that have in idea what they are talking about and need to stop acting so entitled and understand what minute clinic is. Use your brain and go see your PCP if you are having serious issues. Dumb!!!

It really sounds like most of these reviews don’t understand the concept of what «Minute Clinic» actually is and what they treat, guidelines and protocols they actually follow as an evidence based practice model healthcare provider. I’m sorry for your uneducated opinions. I have been to this Minute Clinic several times and each «Nurse Practitioner» has been caring, informative and gone the extra mile to educate me in regards to my care. I have been here for vaccines, wellness exams, skin concerns and the usual winter colds and have never been disappointed! They also couldn’t treat me for a GI issue I was having according to their guidelines and gave me a referral and didn’t even charge me! it’s really sad to see the only people taking the time to write these reviews are the ones that maybe should take a look at themselves and their own personal issues. The convenience in itself is amazing and I support these amazing «Nurse Practitioners» that work hard to give me the best care each time I visit this WEHO Minute Clinic! Thank you Minute Clinic Nurse Practitioners for providing such a wonderful service in the neighborhood, you truly do offer an amazing service!

I got a small cut in my hand that I got when I broke a glass bowl. I came here because I thought it might need stitches. As soon as the «doctor» looked at it she immediately told me «they don’t do stitches here». I was fine with this answer but I asked her if she could clean it for me, at the least. She then proceeded to check my blood pressure & temp. I guess my blood pressure was really low (probably because I was still in shock from getting glass in my hand). Here comes the best part… she accused me of being anorexic for having such low blood pressure! Then lectured me about how «eating is so important».
Despite being terribly offended, I stayed and waited for her to clean my cut, so I didn’t risk getting an infection. She cleaned it, although the whole time she looked like she didn’t really know what she was doing. Long story short, I got my hand cleaned & wrapped for a whopping $ 79. I went to urgent care right after and got 3 stitches in my hand.
This minute clinic is a huge waste of time. Save your time & money by taking your business to any of the better options in West Hollywood.

First of all, let me start out by saying — I AM a fan of CVS minute clinic of the Burbank location, but NOT HERE!
I’ve had a life long struggle with severe chronic allergy. Some days, when things get bad, it’s so bad you wonder if you have a sinus infection cause it just won’t go away no matter what you take. I went in this week to this specific in the west hollywood location. Not only was the doctor extremely unhelpful, she was very condescending and made remarks like, «Why are you here? You should be going to a specialist when you already know it’s allergy.» I told her i wanted to make sure i didn’t have sinus infection before I go to a specialist. That made her question me how I could have come up with such idea that i had an infection. She was being very short with me, and rude. I was picking up my back to leave. That’s when she realized I was very uncomfortable in the situation and started warming up to me. But it’s all too late. I felt rather insulted already.
I thought she might have just had a bad day, but from the all the posts I’ve been reading, it seems likes this is s a constant behavior this lady has for her patients.
Anyhow, my point is: Don’t even bother with the West Hollywood CVS minute clinic. If you want to experience a good service, go to the one in Burbank. I’ve had many good experiences there!

Went in today because I had a pinched nerve in my back and needed a muscle relaxer. They don’t do backs. This is the second time I have been turned away from a Minute Clinic because of something simple that they don’t do. The person running the clinic was not particularly sympathetic, and was rambling on about their guidelines. Seems to me they save money by hiring people who are not qualified to do much more than treat strep and give physicals. Don’t waste your time here, as there are better urgent care options in Weho.

My tonsils were really inflamed & I felt like I had strep throat. I found this minute clinic by my house & asked my boss if I could step out early to make it in time. They take their last patient at 6:15pm, so I hustle over there in Friday night traffic. I’m signed in by 6:10 — awesome, and there are no patients ahead of me. The nurse walks out of her room and begins to tell me that she’s trying to go home and she won’t take me. Come on — the sign says 6:15p, I drove all the way over here and it’s only 6:10! She refuses to help me, and says she «stops getting paid & 6:30p» so she won’t help me. I understand if you’re really busy & It’s getting close to closing time, but she was very rude & clearly didn’t want to be there.

Definitely a terrible experience I also had at this so-​called minute clinic. She was unfriendly, unsympathetic and seemed like she was not into her job. When she took my temperature and blood pressure she didn’t even tell me what it was. I also did not get a print out (like I have before at other minute clinics) of my sickness. I told her I had a cold for a week and a half and she told me to take sudafed and nasal spray for a couple days and if it doesn’t get better, take the prescription that she’ll send to my pharmacy. I asked her about taking a z-​pack and she gave me attitude saying that most people that go in ask her for that. Fast forward a couple days later, her advise FAILED and I had to go to a nearby clinic to get a second opinion because my symptoms were not getting better. Turned out I had a very bad sinus infection that was getting worse by the second. My ear started to hurt badly too — this all could have been avoided had I gone to a professional that knows her/​his stuff. Never, ever again will I step foot in that place. Save your time and money and go to a professional medical clinic.

One of the bigger mistakes that I have made in my life was going to the minute clinic. I woke up early on Christmas Eve with pain in my ear and throat and hard to swallow and my glands were inflamed. I figured I would jump on this early and get some antibiotics and put this behind me right away. I’m not calling my doctor on Christmas Eve, I’ll call this minute clinic that is connected to the pharmacy and get everything done at one shot.
While speaking to the pretend doctor I should have had a clue as to where this was going. She said that my tonsils are really large, she then asked me if it’s normal that my tonsils are usually that large? Is that really a question that you should be asking me? How the F*&$ do I know, is this something I am supposed to be trying to look at in the mirror? I never really paid attention to my tonsils before nor have I ever hd a doctor expect me to know what my tonsils looked like.
At this point I should have realized that you do not even want this doctor to try and put a bandaid on a cut at this point. Fast forward to a throat culture and she says it is negative and I do not need antibiotics. She prescribes a nasal spray and something to gargle with and send me on my way. I should have called my doctor right away.
Instead I spend the next 2 sleepless days and nights in cold sweats with a fever and nothing that can make me feel better. I go nowhere for Christmas as I try and beat this cold and I get a call back on the day after Christmas. Its the minute clinic doctor asking how I am felling, of course I tell her that I am feeling terrible and the last two days have been awful, and she tells me that the real lab test (not the Mickey Mouse test she tried) shows that I have strep so I should start taking some antibiotics… Are you f’ing kidding me?
I was so stupid for not realizing how incompetent this doctor is and I should have trusted my own judgement from the beginning. I have nobody to blame for the past two days of misery but myself, I knew I needed antibiotics.
DO NOT GO TO THE MINUTE CLINIC, these people have 0 experience with anything and probably finished at the n=bottom of their class in med school.
