Sadly, I had to ask for my money back at this place. That’s not something I pretty much ever do. The place came through a recommendation of a friend. Cheap and fast, were the words he used. It has a cute look from the outside, but the overall quality of the place is very poor. My food was sloppily cooked, meaning, they didn’t bother to cook it all the way, and my food sat at the register for I don’t know how long, but it was definitely cold when I finally realized, what w/no one else in the restaurant, that my food must be what’s sitting up there. The food was of course cold and the staff could have cared less. I was so disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend this place in a million years.

Delicious food! Their restaurant is extremely clean and the staff is friendly. I usually get the chilaquiles or taco salad. Sometimes both depending on how hungry I am lol. Everything I’ve had here has been delicious. THANKS!

Wasn’t pleased. They delivered food to my friend’s apartment and took them about an hour to get chicken fajitas and chicken mole plate 1.5 blocks from where they were. On top of that the chicken mole sauce was greasy and the guacamole was like green water and chips were cold and stale. I can’t believe I paid $ 40 for all that! Don’t bother!

$ 8.99 Two Tacos with Rice and Beans. I ordered Al Pastor but got Carnitas… Meh. Very dry meat but it was loaded with Pico de gallo. No chips or condiment bar. Typical bland red and green sauce comes with. Seating inside and out. If the food was really good this place could charge a fortune being next to whole foods.

I’m sure you’ve seen this«hole in the wall» by Whole Foods in the most congested parking lot in West Hollywood and been like, «wtf is this place and how do they afford this rent?». Well, I am here to tell you that if El Chile ever closes I will need a prescription for anti-depressants! The California Burrito has french fries, carne asada and everything else to soak up your hangover! The breakfast burritos are also amazing and everything is always fresh. They also deliver which makes life so much easier for those days when you just cannot deal with traffic. I love you El Chile. Forever.

This place sucks. I would have been more satisfied going to del taco honestly. My bf and I came in on a Saturday and got the two taco special, I got fish and he got asada tacos. We waited a long time but we didn’t mind because we figured the food will be decent and make up for it No My fish tacos were literally soggy and his asada tacos were cold.

Came on a Saturday and wasn’t given the $ 1.25 taco special as advertised. The tacos were tiny, extremely basic and not worth what I ended up paying for them(I could hear the«chef» using the microwave to prepare the food). Have also had a taco salad here previously and everything in it was incredibly salty. Tried to give this place a chance since it’s so close to my apartment but I won’t be returning.

Love their burritos and sometimes, I’ll ask very nicely if they can make nachos for me and they’re so accommodating. I’m always pleased when I order here.

The lady lied to me about applying a $ 15 credit to my account. She screwed up my shrimp cocktail and I was on my lunch break so I had no time to go back and let them fix the mistake. She told me to give my cell phone # and she would put a credit on my account. I called a month later to use it and they claimed there were no such notes in the system. What a bunch of liars. Doesn’t matter if they make a good dish or two I will never go back and will tell everyone about their treachery. The quality had been declining for sometime anyway so I don’t feel too bad about losing this spot.

Good food kind of pricey but what do you expect from West Hollywood. They delivered right to my job and it didn’t take to long. It’s worth a try I got the lunch special steak burrito. All plates include chips, salsa, and soda 16oz to be exact. They also have 99c Tuesday and Saturday tacos.

Super good rice and beef soup. I mainly come here because I like authentic Mexican food. Especially good hot sauce and fresh vegetables in a soup base.

This review is based on delivery orders. I ordered toquitos for my son, enchilada suiza’s and a burrito grande for myself and my boyfriend. 2 stars because they enjoyed their meals. I ordered chicken inside my suiza’s, there was no chicken. I also requested onions be added instead of beans, instead neither. The rice that accompanied my food, was really salty. Update: I’m adding a star because I called to notify them of the missing chicken for my enchiladas, and they are remaking an delivering it.

«my review is subjective» I gave this place the benefit of the doubt. Since the reviews are not so great here on Unilocal, sadly I have to agree with them. There are several better Mexican food options close by. The food was not bad, but they use«Chef Mic». I don’t want my food microwaved for $ 11. I could have just stayed home. Not impressed at all.

I’ve eaten some pretty low grade mexican food before. It ‘s kind of par for the course, living in L.A. And sometimes you have to settle for either good or cheap or fast. This place is none of the above. The carne asada was fatty and chewy. The service was borderline rude. And, oh by the way, it took 16 minutes from the time I ordered to get the bland, basic burrito I ordered. Did I mention it was a take out order?

They’re located in the Whole Foods shopping center off Fairfax… so there is absolutely no place to park. Ever. Don’t fret… there is also absolutely no reason to go there because they DELIVER! And Eat24 always has coupons. I order from here a lot… a lot… Their bean and cheese burrito is delicious($ 5.25). One of the best I’ve had. And I also like the enchiladas verdes plate($ 8.95), which I order with cheese. Cheese quesadillas with guacamole($ 9.50 whether you get it with meat or cheese) are also good although the guac suffers from the watery acid green guac syndrome so common at local taquerias. Delivery drivers are prompt. I wouldn’t say they are particularly friendly, but they deliver cheesy goodness quickly, hand it over and leave. What more can you ask for?

In the amount of time it took for delivery, I could have ridden my cat to the restaurant, killed a dog, cured the meat, grew vegetables, pressed the corn into fresh tortillas, made the tacos and hand fed them to every single homeless person in West Hollywood. The good news is that my hunger strike has reconciled warring factions of Hindus and Muslims.

Food ordered over an hour ago but never came. Then when I called, the dude said he «was about to call me». THEN he told me they were out of guacamole. Have you ever heard of a Mexican restaurant out of guacamole? Oh, AND they marked the order as «delivered» on seamless, which was a total lie. I’m still sitting here without any food, and the guy told me I’m «the next house the driver is going to». Sure. Lame.
