Another thing I forgot to add, she asked me if I grew up somewhere that did not have fluoride in the water because my teeth were so unhealthy. It was extremely insulting and my teeth are aesthetically very beautiful — genetically my family is prone to cavities. Don’t be a snob and rude Dr. Benjamin!

My experience in several years that I have been the patient of Doctor Elena and her Team has been a consistently positive one. I have recommended others to use her dental services and will continue to do so as long as I’m enjoying my experience there.

Dr. Benjamin is awesome! She is very gentle and really knows dentistry. Her staff is very competent and kind. When I’m in her office I always feel at home because I know they all really genuinely care about me.

The worst dentist ever!
I’m still paying for her bad job,
3 crowns she did were completely different color from each other, on top of it she put a crown on my bad root canal tooth, apparently she knew it, and I had a surgery done because of that a month ago.
It’s been 2 and a half years since my visit at elena’s clinic.
Still mad.

I had a treatment done few month ago and thank god I went for a second opinion.
She wanted me to have a root canal, when filling is all I really needed.

Dr. Benjamin was the third doctor that I saw for my chipped tooth. Two previous docs said that I need root canal, post and crown on the top. Dr. Benjamin said that she will try to apply the onlay and we will see if it stays in place. It has been about 8 months since then and I am very happy that I did not have root canal or anything else done. The tooth looks great and I have no problems at all with it.

I’ve been a patient at Elena Benjamin, DDS for almost 12 years now, so I think it’s safe to say that it’s a great dental office as I’m very picky about who I let take care of my health. Everyone is friendly and helpful and my hygienist, Larisa, is the best! She takes great care of me and I know I’m getting the best care.

I was referred to Dr. Benjamin by a friend that I trust so I knew it would be a good experience. When I first walked in I noticed her office is new, very clean, with lots of light. My prior dentists’s office looked like it was from the 60’s! Dr. Benjamin’s office is modern. Her staff is very friendly. I have had 2 of the hygienists and both of them were very informative and taught me things about my teeth and some of my habits. They are great with follow-​ups and making sure you’re reminded of your appt by both email and phone. I have been a very happy client :)

I am a LA transplant from Michigan. I was short of money in 2001, Dr Benjamin worked it out for me and I have been a happy patient ever since. Because of soft gums, I get my teeth cleaned every 4 months instead of 6 months. BTW, the hygienist «Larissa» is world class
and the 5 star rating is my calculation based on the average;
Dr Benjamin and staff gets 4.5 stars and Larissa 5.5 stars!
Over the last 14 years I have had a variety of work done with no hitches. In 2007 I moved from Park La Brea to Torrance and due to the quality of treatment, I am willing to make the

Do not go here. Once they see your insurance they will invent all sorts of issues and say you need a deep cleaning and that you have 13 cavities. I went here a few years ago for just a cleaning and unfortunately allowed them to do some fillings. They pressured me into the work. It was a terrible experience leaving me with pain for a year. I paid for the services they said I «needed» but never returned to have the other side competed.
I’ve been to another dentist since and have ZERO cavities and they said I never would need a deep cleaning and I don’t have these «pockets» they claimed I did.
It’s so unfortunate that a medical professional could be so shady and dishonest. I trusted her and their office and it really scarred me for further dental experiences. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here.
Don’t waste your time and money. There are way better honest dentists in the area.
I know my review is over due, but better late than never.

Dr. Elena Benjamin and HER ENTIRE OFFICE, HYGIENISTS, EVERYONE ROCKS! I have a lifelong and complex relationship with my teeth. Including those I have bought. Whether it’s dental and gum health, implants, caps — their taste is impeccable and (importantly to ME) they will explain every and anything to me. The office runs on time. They will always squeeze me in if something has gone awry. And they have never ever ever tried to make an unnecessary dime off me and my complex mouth. There is ALOT of free street parking. Plus (i know this is off topic) they are only 4 blocks from the fabulous Greystone Mansion Park if you want to grab a coffee and croissant in their lobby and go be in a gorgeous place with your shiny clean teeth.

Another pleasant experience here at Dr.Benjamins. Always welcomed with a smile. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and couldn’t imagine going elsewhere. The staff is always going the extra mile to make sure I fully understand my insurance before anything is done. I always send family and friends and always get the same feedback. Dr. Benjamin and staff are always awesome.

Just had my first visit with Dr Benjamin after my wife kept mentioning how much she loved going here. Now I understand why. Everyone in the office is wonderful and does a great job managing expectations around what’s happening, options, time, costs, etc. Oh yeah… Dr Benjamin is very good at pain management, which certainly matters to most people. I’ve moved around quite a bit and have visited several dentists, but I’m planning to stay put with Dr Benjamin!

I love going to the dentist since I started seeing Dr. Benjamin and her wonderful hygienist Larisa. They are always on time, they have GREAT bedside manner, take my insurance and do excellent work that lasts for years and years.

My experience at this dental office has always been professional, clean, and polite. The dental hygienist, Larissa, is 5 Stars always performing the best work in the industry. She explains everything, seems to really care about the condition and care of my teeth, and always gives me suggestions on how to maintain my teeth’s health. Dr. Elena Benjamin is always there when I request her to see my teeth when making an appointment. They have a really knowledgeable staff that recommends different low cost insurances and they even have teeth whitening specials! Their pricing is very fair and they are all caring and nice people who take their time educating and explaining anything dental related. I had my mouth guard made there 3 years ago and its still in perfect working order and no complaints. I have been a patient there for 8 years now.

Elena is an amazing dentist and I am the most picky, fearful of dentists person. I saw some reviews here that do not reflect her service. Just because someone has help it doesn’t mean they are not paying attention to you. She is also European that explains why some people don’t understand her style. Bottom line she is a great dentist with great staff. Thank you Larissa for the best cleaning ever, thank you Laureen and India for your patience and for being so explanatory with my insurance that always confuses me.

Dr. Benjamin and her staff is one of the best… if not the BEST, They’re very professional and understanding. They listen to my needs associated with my dental work. She was awesome with finding a wonderful solutions when my Implants failed. In which another dentist had done the work. I will never return to him. Thank you to Dr. Benjamin. And words can’t say enough about (Lorrain) she has been there ever time scheduling me in when her time was already full I’m sure. She returns all of my phone calls and even seen me at the last minute. She has given me great advise. That is why I will continue staying with Dr. Benjamin. They not only are very professional group… They have a human side that understand and listen to you with patience. They show that they care about you. I saw and felt that the moment I walk into the office. When was the last time you were in a waiting room/​area and other doctors and Doctors pass by and said Hi.

I have been a patient of Dr. Benjamin’s for well over 5 years — um make that Larissa. Dr. Benjamin is either not there when I have my teeth cleaned, or too busy/​cool to be bothered to actually come in and see me for a check up. She is Avoidant I guess. I go twice a year for cleanings and Dr. B MIGHT pop in the room for 3 Minutes — every year and a half or so.
Larissa is truly the best dental hygienist anywhere — careful, thorough, punctual, and mild-​mannered — which is why I continue to even go to this dental office, in addition to the lovely front desk staff. They are sweet even though they work for an Ogre. If not for Larrisa and them, I would have left long long ago, as Dr. Benjamin is super-​bitchy or absent and has absolutely NO bedside manner whatsoever and could care less about developing some. Mean and zero personality.
If Larissa and Lorraine leave — I am OUT for sure.

I’ve been going to this office for a year and can’t imagine going anywhere else! I highly recommend this office. The staff is wonderful and extremely attentive to your needs. They even call you after getting dental work to check up on you!!! Their hygienist Larissa is AMAZING! I’ve never had a cleaning this great! Never disappointed!
I had an extensive procedure done by Dr. Bina and I couldn’t be happier with the treatment I got! Lorraine and Dr. Bina worked diligently at keeping me calm and most importantly, pain free.

I make my money with my smile, as a broadcaster. I am very hesitant to go to many dentists. A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Elena Benjamin. I have been Heffner’s personal dentist and a dentist from Extreme Make-​over and I have been spoiled. I have very high expectations. The dentist was amazing she talked me through everything she was going to do and the hygienists were the best I have ever been to. My cleaning was gentle and awesome. I take great care of my teeth. Dr. Benjamin even made a sweet comment how she could tell that I floss. It made me feel good. I have recently moved back to LA and was afraid that I wouldn’t find a good, trust-​worthy dentist. I am so glad my friend referred me and equally glad I went. Yay, for a new dentist. I seriously can’t wait till I get another cleaning. I love my teeth and I trust Dr. Benjamin to take care of them from now on!!!
