Great Earth Compounding Pharmacy

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now. Even though the big chain CVS by me now carries what I need I still use this pharmacy because the girls that work here are sweethearts, they’re always on the ball with everything, the medication price is great, and they ship it right to my house for free. Also if you do need a natural remedy this place has got you covered.

So this is the pharmacy I, and many of my friends, go to get testosterone therapy.
When I went to pick up my prescription, I had to wait kind of a long time for it to be ready, but that isn’t the reason why I’m giving this place 2 stars. A longer wait time isn’t that big of an issue for me. What IS a big issue for me, however, is that the employees at this pharmacy seem to be constantly misgendering their patients.
This is a compounding pharmacy that caters to a large amount of transgender clients and provides invaluable hormone therapies for use during transition. They should KNOW BETTER THAN TO MISGENDER PEOPLE. If an individual is coming to pick up testosterone, they are most likely IDing as MALE. If an individual is coming to pick up estrogen, they are most likely IDing a FEMALE. Please stop calling your transmale patients ‘she’ or ‘darling’ or ‘woman’ or ‘girl’. It is really hurtful, especially coming from the place where we actually get our treatment.
I hope representatives from this pharmacy read this and really take this issue to heart. I have heard too many complaints from my other trans friends about this happening to them while picking up their hormones. It needs to STOP.

I never have used the pharmacy however Jocelyn in the photo department
was extremely helpful and had great customer service skills! She right away
showed my mom how to download an app that you need in order to upload
pictures from your phone and develop them.

One of the best pharmacies I’ve been to. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
They called to confirm my prescription was ready and were very thorough when it came to instructions for the medication (for my pet) since it was a particularly strong antibiotic. Would definitely come here again.

Dr Helen is a great Pharmacist and is very professional. She does wonders when it come to handling her pharmacy and making sure everything is up to code. I would send any patient to her to get medications or compounds from their pharmacy.

I suffer from low estrogen and was recommended this pharmacy by my doctor, and I have been coming here ever since. Irina, the pharmacist helped me with everything from A-​Z. Maria, the nutritionist helped me with all my vitamin needs. This place literally has it all. I would definitely recommend this pharmacy to everyone.

I had to write a second review!!! As I mentioned, I have GI issues, and I was put on a large dose of medication to be taken long term on daily basis. I was dreading taking it as I have heard of so many side effects associated with these meds. Helen compounded this medication in the purest form (only active ingredient) without any unnecessary filler used by brand companies that may be responsible for the side effects. She also used a special capsule and a probiotic in it to help ease the digestion process. I cannot thank her enough for being the lucky one to find this available. I wish everyone would know that this is possible! Thank you!

I got the best skin fading cream from this pharmacy! My doctor also calls in my thyroid medication and progesterone to this pharmacy. They specialize in bio-​identical hormones. I don’t just trust any pharmacy to make them for me. Quality is everything to me.
I also had problems with poor sleep and anxiety and did not want to take crazy pscho meds. The pharmacist, Helen, helped me find the best organic stuff to help with my mood without having to take medication for it. I like that they are so on top of it there. I hate taking medicines, and rely on them to find me more natural alternatives. Oh! Also, great quality vitamins. A great plus: they make pet meds too. They helped me put my puppy’s medication in these meat flavored treats — my puppy took her meds gladly and got all better! Thank you so much!

The people at great earth are really professional and very warm. Everytime I call, they are friendly and quick and accurate when getting my prescriptions together. What’s even sweeter about their services is that I don’t have to pick up my order, they actually have it delivered to me within 2 days! I really appreciate this group, and will continue to use their services!

This place is a LIFESAVER… literally! They compound medicine for my dog. She is very old and arthritic. The veterinarian said we were left with two options — put her down or try to find a pharmacy that can get ahold of a rare medication. Great Earth not only found the medicine, they overnighted it, compounded it (adding special beef & chicken flavors so my pup would like it better) and the medicine SAVED HER! Completely different experience than going to a CVS, Rite Aid, or any other pharmacy big or small. Everyone here is SUPER nice. It’s clear that they really like what they do, and care about their clients and customers. Just such a lovely experience!

If you need a compound medication, Great Earth Compounding Pharmacy is the place to go. Dr. Helen Kizler and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I appreciate that they take time to personally address the needs of each client. The pharmacy has some retail space dedicated to various natural remedies and homeopathic medications. If you have a pet, they even do compound medication for animals.

If you have been in big chain pharmacy and ordered your medications there, you will see immediate difference with this pharmacy. These people go way out of their way to get you the right product especially for you. If you need your dose adjusted, pharmacist Helen Kisler will request it from your doctor. How many times did you feel like a tennis ball between your doctor and the pharmacy trying to get what you need? This pharmacy will help you.
You will get all you need: a compound medication, topical cream medication or other and you will have the best advice to get the most effective result from your treatment.
Pharmacist Helen K is knowledgeable about the supplements, vitamins, hormones which are the most confusing for everyone and you do not even know which product is the best for you.

These people are THE BEST!
I needed something from them very urgently, and Helen and Karen both stayed back AFTER the closing hours on a Saturday late afternoon to make sure that my prescription was filled so I could start using it.
These folks are not only nice, but their prices are VERY competitive as well. I’m sold!

i’ve been driving to Encino for months. I love the pharmacy, but it’s just too far for me.
In a panic I looked for something closer to home. What a find. They had the medication, done deal. I picked it up after work.
The only down side is parking. Street parking only. I lucked out, found a space right in front of the place. It’s really close to Pavillions so you might be able to sneak a space there. It’s worth it.
