I just finished up at this labcorp and felt they deserved a review. I had an appointment and the visit was quick. Everyone working here was friendly, helpful, and had a smile on their face. It’s been a while since I’ve had blood work done so I was feeling a little uneasy. The woman who drew my blood was efficient, quick, and made conversation to distract me which was appreciated. And she only had to poke me once, where many other times in life I’ve had to be jabbed a few times before they got the right spot. Thank you and I’ll definitely come back to the location!

Super unorganized… I came to drop off a specimen for my fiancé and 30 mins later I’m still sitting here. In the meantime the guy next to me had an appointment almost an hour ago and they completely forgot about him. They are chaotic and no one seems to know what’s going on. Save your time & go to a different location.

The receptionist was very confused by everything related to her job, but the young black man with the ponytail who took my blood was lovely. His name is Jourdan. Very comforting voice, which when you are getting 10 vials of blood taken, is greatly appreciated. He deserves a raise.
They don’t validate parking.

I’ve definitely been to better labcorps. The front desk lady is unhelpful to the point of rudeness. I came in at 925 to do a blood sugar test at 5 months pregnant. This takes 3 hours and she was very concerned this would cut into her lunch hour to the point of calling her boss. Luckily, after fasting for 12 hours to do this test the boss gave them the go ahead to draw my blood. She was not happy about this and proceeded to be mildly prickly for the remainder of the three hours I had to sit in the lobby. The man who draws the blood is helpful, no issues there. Warning, If you have to get a blood sugar test done here be sure to get here by 8am.

Jordan is the man! Every time I get my blood drawn they jab me like 10 times in each arm until they find a vein. Jordan got it first try. Quick, easy, painless. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes. Highly recommended.

I had a very nice visit with Labcorp. I made an appointment with them. It went as smooth as silk. Carmina was especially nice and helpful. I highly recommend this office for any lab work that you may need. Thank you for a great experience Carmina.

Carolina and Yvonne were awesome! Super friendly and helpful& FAST. They even recommended this great spot to have lunch after, which is easily one of my favorites now.

Karmina was great! Very patient despite the fact that some customers ahead of me were a handfull, phone was ringing off the hook and she was the only one working so she had to check everyone in and deal with insurance, copies, questions, etc. It was clear she was exhausted by all of this, so if you read the reviews you ought to realize that this establishment is cutting costs by having one person, open, close, data entry, draw blood, take urine samples, etc. i was lucky to get in and out!

Seriously the slowest Lab Corp in the history of all time. How long does it honestly take to pee in a cup?
The lady at the front desk is very dry and requested that I not give her my lab paperwork until she is ready like wtf? How would you know that I don’t even need blood drawn I just need to pee in a freaking cup for Urine’s Sakes!
This is horrible. The Lab Corp in Torrance is much better and guess what parking is FREE! Never ever ever coming here again.

What a terrible experience. They will never see my face again. My mom (86 years old) came from France to visit. She is taking a medication that thinner her blood so she needs to have a blood test every 2 weeks called IRN. This is very important that she knows the level, so I took her to this laboratory.
1– They send all the blood sample to San Diego to be tested
2– They send results only by Fax (How archaic is that?). No way to get the results by email…
3– Usually, in France, my mom go in the morning to the lab, and get the result in the afternoon. We went to the lab December 17, and we got the results only the 22 late in the afternoon, after I spent the day on the phone with them. They are awful.
First they ask for a copy of my mom passport. I sent it by fax (Yes I have a friend who still use fax machine), but the copy wasn’t good enough, they couldn’t see the picture like they know my mom…
Second, someone gave me her personal email (finally!) but they said they never received the email, even though my gmail was saying that the mail went through perfect.
Third, I asked to talk to a superviser… Vicky was the worst. She finally gave me her email (another one), and said that it would take her 48 hours to send me the results.
Finally I got the result, thank G-​d.
They just don’t care at all.

Super irritating… sent me to collections for a $ 45 bill. I would have been happy to have paid the bill at the doctor’s office or if they ever sent me a bill, but they just sent me to collections instead.

I made an appointment online, it was quick and easy to do. When I arrived they had no patient’s in the waiting room. Therefore, I was seen right away. The guy who checked me in was mellow and nice. I never had to sit down to wait, then again no one else was there lol. As soon as I walked in, I was given a cup for a sample then went straight back into the room. The woman who did the blood draw was efficient and fast. The only con was parking, they only take cash and I did not have any cash on me. I believe it was a little over $ 1 each 15 mins., but I was able to get a good parking spot off street a block away.

Do not take ur babies here they have no experince the guy is a coldblooded MF whos on the phone anytime u walk in he poked my son 3 times and didnt get the blood

In most cases there is only one employee, but the service is quick.
They have a 1 hour lunch break, 12−1pm, and close at 5pm; however, when there are too many people waiting they close early, so you may want to show up no later than 11:30am or 4:30pm.
The building has valet parking, and there is street parking on Beverly (meter). Valet attendant shows up at 8am, but you can park early to be first, and pay as if you came in at 8am. If you don’t mind walking 5 minutes, there is free 2hr parking on Sherbourne Drive, which is one block west of San Vicente, just read the signs for permit parking and street cleaning.
You can make an appointment online, but I never do it because even if there are a few people ahead of me my wait time has been less than 30 minutes.
I prefer to be tested at the lab instead of at the doctor’s, because it can take the doctor many days/​weeks to mail the results, but with the lab it is at most two weeks.
It takes two to ten days (depending on the test) to get the results and for the lab to submit it to the doctor, then LabCorp waits 48 business hours so the doctor can talk to the patient, before making the results available to the patient. If you register online, you get an email as soon as the results are available to the patient.

This was my first time at this particular LabCorp. It was pretty easy to find and there is a paid parking lot on the property. Arriving at 8:55 AM for my 9:00 AM appointment, I did have to wait until 9:15 AM before being taken back. However, once taken back, the technician was friendly, professional, and efficient. He completed all of the necessary items quickly and I was out the door at 9:20 AM. Would definitely recommend making an appointment — as i was leaving, four patients had shown up in the waiting room and there was only one tech on duty.

I have been going to LabCorp on Beverly (across the street from Cedars Sinai) for over one year because it is located very close to my office. I always make an appointment the day before… for an early morning blood draw (because I typically have to fast before testing). Every time I come here (about 10 times), no one is at the front desk. You must sign in, sit down, and be patient and hope that there are not too many people before you. Mind you, I have an appointment every time, BUT that doesn’t matter, you still have to wait.
A few times, I waited for well over an hour and got a horrible headache because I couldn’t eat until the blood was drawn. But usually, I am seen within 30 minutes of my appointment time.
Also, if you try to call this office, they never answer; instead, it goes to voice message. However, they never ever call you back… even if you have relevant questions (like critical fasting information) prior to your visit.
The issue is that there is always ONLY one employee working at this office. So, I cannot blame the employee because there is just too much work for one person to do. Usually, the employee is nice and professional, and a bit stressed out from all of the work. I have been told that they have absolutely no time to even listen to the voice messages. I think that LabCorp needs to staff this branch with at least one more employee.

I think I may have got in at the right time here because when I arrived there was NO ONE in the waiting room I had made an appt for 11am, but arrived early and I was in and out by 11. The lady was really nice to me and I’m prone to fainting, so she kept me engaged the entire time. It was painless and easy. I guess the best time to go it 10ish on a Thursday.

Couldn’t be worse. What a horrible company. This location has a single employee to serve the plethora of poor dumb customers who didn’t know better and came here for testing. With the amount of money medical corporations charge and make, I’m pretty sure lab corp can afford to get a second employee to work the desk, phone etc, while the existing employee draws blood. As it stands, it’s taken over an hour to even be acknowledged by the employee. I think it’s gonna take about 2 more hours to actually have my blood drawn. Since they open at 8 and I get up at 330 am, that means I will have fasted for 8 hours this morning. No food and no coffee makes for a very angry customer with a bad headache, who vows never to come to this awful example of corporate greed.
