When I founded RunwayWaiters, I did so in the interest of providing exceptional staff for the wide range of events that take place across the city of Los Angeles.

Whether I have a client who is putting together a business convention, a film première, or an art gallery opening, I understand the importance of having poised, attractive staff to be the face of their event, and have designed my company around that concept. The people working at your event are a reflection of you, and at RunwayWaiters, we want to help you put your best foot forward.

My experience was incredibly bad and my guests were so sorry for me that they pitched in and did what had to be done. I hired three pretty Runway Waiters to help bartend and serve buffet food for a party. None of the girls could handle the bar and they all tried. There were broken corks in nice wine bottles, wrong mixers used for simple drinks, and my guest finally had to resort to self service when the girls abandoned the bar. None of them had party experience in greeting guests or taking gifts. My kitchen was in chaos with all the guest gifts on the counter and among the food. None of them had any experience in clearing tables after a meal or cleaning up the buffet food once guest finished. I was not able to attend my own party, and was left with all the clean up for 75 guests. If you need someone to pour champagne with a pretty smile, they can handle that, but not a party with simple catered food and rented dishes. I would not use them again, but would hire experienced catering people at one third of the price.

Not only do we get to make memories at these awesome events but we get to make friends along the way. Runway waiters is a GREAT opportunity to work for and also book for your special occasions. Ernest is very hard working, dedicated, and humble and that type of attitude reflects on the employees. I’ve been using RWW for years with many different styles of events. Some very intimate and some very large high profile events. They’ve been nothing but prompt and professional. Many of the caterers we’ve used have even began using them as staffing because of their great personalities and hunger to do a great job!

Runway Waiters was started by Ernest, who wanted a way to make money off of models. He thought he could somehow take advantage of them by telling them to stand around at clubs and be «atmosphere models». He knew that the only way to get them to agree to this was to lure them with money. Now it’s turned into a sketchy business in which models are hired to serve drinks and even bartend, when they’ve had no serving or bartending experience in their life. The models show up late and all they know to do is stand around and «look pretty». If you want real servers who are professional and know what they’re doing, I don’t recommend hiring a model.

Aside from the fact that every single one of their models is signed with an agency and is gorgeous, all of the models have great personalities and are experienced servers and bartenders. RWW office staff work with you to make sure you have exactly the personality and ‘look’ that you’re going for at your event. The best part about hiring Runway Waiters– you get to pick exactly which models you want off of their première model presentation. Hot!
RWW is a great way to take your event to the next level, making guests feel like they’re at an up-​scale luxurious event, without having to actually book models through an agency and pay $ 100’s to $ 1000s per hour.
