I really liked my experience here today. I don’t have a primary care doctor, but would definitely consider seeing Dr. Foster again as my doctor. Not only was his staff super friendly, but for the first time ever I didn’t feel rushed by the doctor. He took his time and allowed me to slowly explain my health history. (Usually a doctor makes me feel rushed when doing this, but he was telling me to actually slow down and not rush through my story.)
The lab tests gave instant results for certain things, so I was able to come in and immediately get answers. This was a first for me, and it was great not having to wait a few days to figure out what was going on with my health.
Overall he was kind and patient, and I had absolutely zero waiting time in the waiting room. The only time I really waited was for my lab results, which is normal. (And that wait was no more than 15 minutes.)
There was nothing negative about this experience, and I would definitely return again. Also, I didn’t feel judged for being a hypochondriac, so thank you! Coming from someone with little patience and a fear of doctors, I highly recommend this place. Also… The office is beautiful and I didn’t feel uncomfortable by the location whatsoever. Seems new!
The last perk — they accept my short term medical insurance through HCC.

Dr. Foster and his team are absolutely great!!! I am a patient there and I am always greeted with a smile!!! I referred my fiancée there and he too loves it there. Rudy and Jocelyn are awesome they always answer my questions. I will be referring more people over due to the quality care they all provide! Thanks Dr. Foster!!!

Absolutely the WORST medical office I have ever visited. Unprofessional, careless and greedy!

I stepped into this office for the first time on Monday and was warmly welcomed by the receptionist. I arrived early so there was no wait. The nurses and staff were very friendly and Dr. Foster was very attentive, compassionate and professional. I was very well taken care of and I will definitely be back for future check ups! Thanks Dr. Foster!

Wonderful place to go! Dr John Foster is so personal, thorough, and hard-​working! He truly cares about you as a patient and tries to find the best solution– highly recommend!

This was my first time going here. I had to walk in for an injury to my toe. Dr Foster was so nice and very attentive and sensitive to my needs and the pain I was in. His office staff was extremely helpful and nice. I have been looking for a dr in my area for general things and I will definitely be going back to Dr Foster! So happy I found him!

I have never, I mean NEVER had a worse experience at a doctor’s office. I got there early for my first appointment and the incompetent people working the desk took over an hour to figure out my insurance situation. I spelled it out to them and 66 min (I timed it) later, the were like, «We figured it out. It’s what you said in the first place.» Then, the nurse had me pull my sleeve up for the blood pressure machine, cutting off my circulation and giving a totally false reading. I’m 5’10″, and she measured me at 5’8″. Not a big deal, but she couldn’t even use a ruler!
After waiting another 20 minutes in the exam room, I walked out to ask them what was going on. Turns out the doctor left the office. Yep, that’s right: HE WALKED OUT OF THE OFFICE. No one bothered to let me know. Biggest waste of time. Never, ever, EVER go here. Seriously, this place sucks.

Gotta say this place was great. Got in right away, no waiting. Still not used to how expensive health care is here though (IM FROM CANADA EVERYTHING IS FREE YOU AMERICAN LOSERS) anyways I will defiantly go back to this place

Great place really friendly even when it busy they maintain there professionalism, even when I schedule appointment over the phone. Ohh always great to get help by miss Jocelyn she awesome.

I recently walked to dr. Foster’s walk in center and to my surprise and my previous horrible walk in experience at other facilities all I can say are positive things. The wait was not long and before I knew it I was already in the examination room. I felt a real general concern from the staff about my medical issues. One of the nurses, I believe her name was Jocelyn was very friendly and patient with my multiple questions. She herself tried to answer them all and if she wasn’t able to made, she made sure they were by the most appropriate person. I would definitely go back there.

The staff are very friendly, Jocleyn was so helful and nice. The wait was very short. I will be returning here. I recommend this place to anyone that needs any help with any condition they have questions about. Dr. Foster was really professional, helpful and great doctor!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Foster for a few years, I’ve always had excellent experiences with him and the staff. The location of the office is great, and he’s been very helpful with lab work, Meds and questions. Thanks Dr. Foster!

I get super sinus attacks and found this clinic online. Easy street parking and staff was great. They helped me set up a patient portal to make it easy to see lab works as they are uploaded to my personal portal. Dr. Foster spends a lot of time with me and makes me feel like he really cares. He’s the best doctor I’ve been to in LA and will go back whenever I get sick. I rarely get sick but I’m so glad I have a go-​to now when I do :-)

Dr Fosters office was selected as a result of his impressive Unilocal reviews. I guess we should leave Unilocal for restaurants and other not so crucial to your health businesses.
Thus far in the last year we’ve established this:
–You will never get a call back from him.
–It will take 3 – 5 business days to hear back from his staff if you’re lucky. Urgent care much? Nah they’ll pass.
–They will always ask you to come in to review labs or go over tests etc… which can easily be done over the phone, but guess what… they can’t bill you unless you go in for a «visit».
–Shows a lack of compassion and tries to make up for it with jokes and casual banter… «sorry you’re dying but have I told you the joke about the rabbi, priest, and hooker that ended up in an Über Pool together? No? OK well let’s bill your insurance first and I’ll make sure you get the punch line on the way out».

This review is from my fiances experiences with Dr. Fosters office as well as my own experience visiting the office with her and waiting to hear back from them on simple blood work.
And there is no punchline to that joke.

I am writing a Unilocal review because I was urged to by Dr Foster. Yep, he asked me to «Yelp!» about him, and to tell my friends. I left the clinic feeling like I was leaving the office of a used car salesman.
That was the end of what was a terrible experience. I went to Dr Foster because I had a concerning lump. I should point out that this was my first appointment with a physician since moving to LA. After being made to wait almost an hour past my appointment time, I was finally seen. The doctor palpated the lump WITHOUT GLOVES (and the lump was in a sensitive area, I might add) then left the room without sharing his findings.
He did not return for almost twenty minutes, during which time I overheard him speaking to his receptionist about a previous client, and urging her to aggressively chase up debt collection. Imagine that: I was waiting, wondering if I had a tumor, while Dr Foster grew more concerned about chasing old payments. I could hear every word through the walls. Every. Single. Word.
When he finally did return, he told me I had nothing to worry about and that it was just a cyst. I asked if we might ultrasound the area to confirm that. His response was that they don’t offer that service at the clinic, but that I seemed very anxious about the whole thing, and that maybe I might like to discuss the possibility of anti-​anxiety medication. He was drug pushing about something entirely different! Naturally, I declined, and requested a referral to a specialist. Thankfully, he wrote the referral.
I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. That’s when I was handed a bunch of flyers for the clinic and encouraged to review. Until now, I didn’t do so. I was more concerned about the lump; I found a specialist, and got the ultrasound that I needed.
Oh…and it turned out to be cancer. I have since had surgery and am under the ongoing care of an oncologist.
Now I realise that misdiagnoses are inevitable in any practice, and that is not my complaint. My complaint is the negligence with which the ‘care’ was provided by Dr Foster. I was left alone and scared, I was pushed unnecessary drugs, I was made to feel like a burden, and I was urged to promote the clinic for him.
And of course, now I am being chased relentlessly for ‘overdue payments’ despite having already paid my deductible and provided insurance details. I wonder while his receptionist calls me incessantly, who is in the next room suffering through poor medical care?

Doctor Foster and his PA Christopher are wonderful and knowledgeable.
However, schedule an extra hour or more if you come here because they often run way WAY behind. Even if you have an appointment, any walk-​ins they have are taken before you. I waited an hour and a half to be seen, and had to cancel work.

5* for the cheerful, caring, kind, and intelligent doctor who never rushes you and answers all of your questions. He’s usually pretty accurate on his hunches and diagnoses. I usually end up coming in for last minute emergency-​type issues, and this place can get me in the day of without compromising my work schedule too much. I definitely appreciate that.
I’m taking away 1* for the unfortunately lacking supporting staff. Apparently I am not the only one who feels Jocelyn (who takes calls at the front, draws blood, and takes basic history if Rudy isn’t there) is not professional. In multiple occasions I have heard her and another woman at the front complaining and gossiping about people they knew. Patients do not want to hear your personal complaints and business. Please leave that at home. I dread calling this office because of the front staff. Also, no matter how many times I correct her on how to pronounce my name, she forgets within 60 seconds.
Another thing that’s irksome is that if you request a refill for a controlled medication, they require you to pick up the written Rx and then take it to the pharmacy. When you pick it up, they will charge you $ 20 just for that piece of paper. Can you imagine how much more money medical offices would make if every single doctor had that policy? Try to remember if you need a refill and ask for it during your visit to avoid that fee.
The office construction is beautiful and modern, but the walls are too thin and not sound-​proof — it is not ideal for patients who want absolute privacy. I can hear the exams and consultations with his other patients pretty clearly even when my exam room door is closed. This isn’t the only medical office I’ve experienced this in though.
Would I go elsewhere? Nah. A doctor like Dr. Foster is hard to find.

This is the best urgent care facility/​primary doc office in the area. Unfortunately, being that I’m really active, I’ve had a lot of sports related injuries in the past year. Dr. Foster and his team are all amazing and make me feel at ease even when I’m in pain.
Dr. Foster himself is very professional and makes visiting a doctor’s office a lot more pleasant. His team who assisted me with making my appointments and getting my exams were all very friendly and have made my visits a seamless experience.
The office is located in a high rise so parking might be difficult to find. If you park on the street make sure you read the signs.

Let me preface this review by saying that I really hate going to the doctor. You’re in there, partially undressed, already not feeling good, waiting for what seems like forever, they come in, slap a band-​aid on you and leave without a word, charging you $ 200 for their time.
So I’m a tough customer.
Dr. Foster’s office is a walk-​in which means you can work around your schedule. He is also the owner of the practice which really shows in the way he cares for his patients. I had several minor medical issues to have taken care which he did all in the same day.
I hope I don’t have to go back to the doctor soon but if I do I will go to Dr. Foster.

I was a new patient when I came in for my physical. I waited over an hour past my appointment time to see the doctor. Jennifer, who was my doctor, was awesome and really put my nerves at ease, as I tend to get a little nervous at the Doc’s. The woman in the front, not sure her name, was less than pleasant. But overall, a great experience.
